RACING INCIDENTS

1^st Race:     146. The Vijayanagar Cup Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey M. Prabhakaran replaced the indisposed Jockey M. Mark on HERO WORSHIP.

Near the 1100 Metres ROULETTE (Ravinder Singh) was steadied of the heels of VITO (D. Gnaneshwar).

CELESTIAL STORM (Vivek) was pulling hard had to be steadied of the heels of the  front  runners 1000 Metres and 900 Metres.

DING DANG DONG (Vishwanath A) ran detached from the field till about the 200 Metres. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

RENEE (Arshad Alam) had some difficulty between 400 Metres to the 200 metres in obtaining a clear passage.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of HERO WORSHIP reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that ALLEZ ROYALE (T.S. Jodha) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HIDDEN HERO (R Vaibhav) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 700 grams. Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda will be called to an enquiry.

ENCHANTRESS (Nitin Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 600 grams. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar will be called to an enquiry.

It was reported after the 2^nd race that HIDDEN HERO (R. Vaibhav) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade II at 2.15 p.m.). Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ENCHANTRESS

trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar and ridden by Jockey Nitin Singh.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g STARHUNT.

2^nd Race:   147. The N.R.C.E. Cup-(About) 1400 Metres. 3 years old only  (12 Runners).

DANCING PRINCESS (Arshad Alam) was slowly away.

It was observed that YOURESOHANDSOME (G. Sai Vamshi) was trying to run out from the start till about 600 Metres.

Jockey L.P. Beuzelin, the rider of GOOD PROSPECT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and taking out NEW ALLIANCE (P.S. Chouhan) on his outside between the 200 Metres and 100 Metres.

NEW ALLIANCE (P.S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

Jockey L.P. Beuzelin, the rider of GOOD PROSPECT, was reprimanded for shifting out and bumping RAVELNATION (Imran Chisty) on his outside rounding the final bend.

HEAVEN IS HERE (S. Zervan) sustained cut injury on right gaskin.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c OXFORD OPINION.   

3^rd Race:  148. The Bangalore Race Course 152^nd year commemoration Trophy  – (About) 1600 Metres. 4 years old and over at the time of starting (6 Runners).

ALEXANDRA MILLS (Y.S. Srinath) knuckled soon upon jumping out of the starting gates whereby the rider got unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount and the horse ran riderless. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it had paint marks on its left thigh and it also pulled up lame on right hind.  Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ARROGANT APPROACH.

4^th Race:    149. The Indian Republic Trophy – (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (7 Runners).

RAPHIRE (Vivek) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

ROYAL REIN (A. Imran Khan) pulled hard in the early and middle stages of the race.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of STAR OF DESTINY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2^nd  infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f CONNEMARA.

5^th Race:     150. The Vijayanagar Cup - Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey Arshad Alam replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on SHE’S STUNNING.

Shortly after the start VIVA DIVA (Rajesh Kumar M) and FEET ON FIRE (Vishwanath A) bumped.

YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI (P.S. Chouhan) steadied from the heels of SPANISH MOON (David Allan) approaching the 800 Metres and bumped VIVA DIVA (Rajesh Kumar M) on his outside.

Between the 1100 Metres to 1000 Metres VIVA DIVA (Rajesh Kumar M) steadied from the heels of SPANISH MOON (David Allan) and shifted in bumping FEET ON FIRE (Vishwanath A) which resulted HELLO BOSS (Ravinder Singh) and MANDARIN (P. Trevor) being forced to check following an enquiry no blame could be attributed to a particular rider.

Near the 650 Metres, OUR LITTLE DRAGON (Suraj Narredu) dipped.

At the 250 Metres, MANDARIN (P Trevor) shifted out to avoid the heels of SPANISH MOON (David Allan) and inconvienced OUR LITTLE DRAGON (Suraj Narredu).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of OUR LITTLE DRAGON, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing HELLO BOSS (Ravinder Singh) which passed it on to RARE AND GORGEOUS (Ryan Marshall) in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of MIRACLES OF LIFE, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.   

It was reported after the race that BLACK ARECA (A. Ramu) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the 4^th race at 3:20 p.m that YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI burst its blood vessels (endoscopy - grade IV). Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MANDARIN.

6^th Race:    151. The Vidhana Soudha Cup - Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

COOL APPROACH (Nitin Singh) was slowly away.

NEXT MOVE (K. Raja Rao) was extremely fractious, bolted on the way to the saddle enclosure and ran round the course.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn.

Near the 500 Metres ABSOLUTE RED (Ahsan Qureshi) brushed the rails.

Near the 400 Metres PRAZSKY (Vishwanath A) shifted in when struck with the whip and steadied from the heels of ASSIDUOUS (S. Zervan).

It was reported after the race that VOLCANO (N Ravinder Singh) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. S Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BEAUTY IS TRUTH (R Vaibhav) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 600 grams. Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda will be called to an enquiry.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b r POWER OF TIME.

7^th Race:    152. The Legacy Bangalore Derby 2015 (Grade I) - (About) 2400 Metres. 4 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2011)  (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. D. Netto to withdraw NET CHAMP (L.P.Beuzelin) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Imran Chisty replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on DEL SANTO.  

AZZURRO (P. Trevor) blundered approaching the 1500 Metres.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of BOLD MAJESTY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1^st infringement).

It was reported after the race that ALAMEDA (P S Chouhan) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. L D Silva was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HAVELOCK PRINCE (C S Jodha) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

8^th Race:    153. The Talkad Trophy – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

ACEEMPRESSJESSIE (P. S. Chouhan) was examined at the starting gates by Chief Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on left fore.  under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds  before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SUMMER DAWN (A. Ramu) was examined at the starting gates by Chief Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of CONQUISTADOR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for failing to ride his mount out to the winning post.

Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was questioned reagrding the weight of CONQISTADOR at 439 Kgs as to his previous start of 458 Kgs in Race No.118 run on 3^rd January 2015. He stated that he felt the horse was big after it ran in Race No. 63 run on 6^th December 2014 and has been bringing the weight down with swimming and reducing its food intake. He added that he has been weighing the gelding every week and his records were inspected. He preferred that perhaps he didn’t finish the race off as well as he expected because he may be a little too light now. His explanations were noted.

JEWEL LADY (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CAPITALIZE.

9^th Race:    154. The Vidhana Soudha Cup - Div.II – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

Jockey P. Trevor replaced the indisposed Jockey David Allan on KING OF THE COURT.

LADS GLADIATOR (Arshad Alam) and AMAZON BAY (Vivek) were slowly away.

Near the 1250 Metres, SUMMER GOLD (P Mani) which pulled hard early shifted out bumping AMAZON BAY (Vivek) onto LADS GLADIATOR (Arshad Alam).

After passing the 200 Metres KINGSTON TOWN (A Ramu) and ONE OF A KIND (Imran Chisty) bumped.

Jockey P Mani will be questioned why he stopped riding SUMMER GOLD after passing the 200 Metres.
