RACING INCIDENTS

Weather : Clear

Penetrometer Reading : 3.5 Cms

Rail position : Railing fixed at its original position.

1^st Race: 110. The Splendid Role Plate Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to withdraw WELL DESERVED, on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained injury on right fore fetlock and right knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

At the start BOLD VISION (Ajeet Kumar) veered outwards losing some ground. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

It was observed that BOLD VISION (Ajeet Kumar) veered out in the final 300 Metres.

AUTUMN SKY (Irvan Singh) sustained a deep cut injury on inside stifle and right hock.

An enquiry is opened into the reason STYLE GRACE (Suraj Narredu) fell near the 850 Metres. AUTUMN SKY (Irvan Singh) was inconvenienced in this incident. On immediate examination of STYLE IN GRACE (Suraj Narredu) by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained fracture on both fore fetlock joint. Hence it was euthanized.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FAUSTINA.

2^nd Race: 111. The Kitty Bank Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (10 Runners).

RUBI REY (A.Ramu) was slowly away.

SUEZY OH (J.H. Christopher) and BLIZZARD OF OZ (Shiva Kumar S) brushed approaching the 1200 Metres.

It was observed that SWEET ANGEL (P.S. Chouhan) laid in under pressure in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of ORIENTAL BELLE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 100 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ABBA.

3^rd Race: 112. The Glass House Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only at the time of starting (11 Runners).

Jockey T.S. Jodha replaced the indisposed Suraj Narredu on KNIGHTHOOD.

DESERT GOD (David Allan) was slowly away.

KNIGHTHOOD (T.S. Jodha) was extremely fractious, refused to remain in the starting gates and was injured on right fore cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Near the 1100 Metres NEW MALLET (M.Kumar) shifted out slightly forcing LITTLE MAN (Arshad Alam ) to ease. Then near 1000 Metres and again at 900 Meters NEW MALLET hung out and inconvenienced HEISENBERG (A.Ramu).

At the 900 Metres and 760 Metres TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (Shobhan Babu) dipped at 700 Metres then TAQDEER KA BADSHAH laid out then at 600 Metres ran out forcing AMAZE (Nitin Singh) and NEW MALLET (M. Kumar) wider on the track.

TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (Shobhan Babu) sustained cut injury on right nostril.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c OXFORD OPINION.

4^th Race: 113. The Amber Regent Plate – (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

Shortly after the start HOLY EMPIRE (Ryan Marshall) bounded.

TO THE FUTURE (P.S. Chouhan) was held up behind the tiring HILLTON (A. Imran Khan) between the 700 Metres and 600 Metres.

It was reported after the race that HILLTON (A. Imran Khan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that He must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ANAROSA.

5th Race: 114. The New Year Cup (GRADE III) – (About) 1400 Metres. 4 years old and over at the time of starting (6 Runners).

Jockey A. Sandesh replaced the indisposed Suraj Narredu on ARROGANT APPROACH.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ACE BADRAAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening ACCLAIMED (R. Vaibhav) and SHIVALIK STAR (J.H. Christopher) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the front runner approaching the 600 Metres.

Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the disappointing run of SPEED SIX. Jockey Trevor said he was able to lead and the horse travelled well until the final 200 Metres when he gave nothing. Mr. Padmanabhan said that Jockey Trevor had ridden the horse well but did not finish the race off today even though it has won a 1400 Metres. Mr. Padmanabhan could offer no explanation.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from SPEED SIX.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

6^th Race: 115. The Bangalore Oaks (Grade II) – (About) 2400 Metres. 4 years old Indian Fillies (Foaled in 2011) (8 Runners).

Jockey Arshad Alam replaced the indisposed Suraj Narredu on SMOKING BELL.

SMOKING BELL (Arshad Alam) was slowly away.

GLORIOUS LIGHT (Keanen G Steyn) was extremely fractious in the gates, reared up, flipped over and ran round the course. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

7^th Race: 116. The Splendid Role Plate Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

BROADWAY RANGER (Adarsh.G) was slowly away.

Jockey Ashok Kumar.A, the rider of ZULFIQAR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CANDICE (P. Trevor) which in turn passed it on to ICEPICK WILLIE (Rajesh N) on his inside before passing the red marker post.

VENCEDORA (Ryan Marshall) was forced to travel wide making the 900 Metres turn as it drew from the wide barrier.

It was observed that MAJOR ATTRACTION (A. Imran Khan) was trying to run out between the 900 Metres till about 700 Metres in the process inconvenienced ANDINA (J.H. Christopher) on his outside. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Near the 650 Metres SAIRANI (A.Ramu) eased when MAJOR ATTRACTION (A. Imran Khan) moved inwards.

Approaching the 300 Metres, when ICEPICK WILLIE (N. Rajesh) was making ground which was checked by his rider to avoid striking the heels of ANDINA (J.H. Christopher).

ZULFIQAR (Ashok Kumar A) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

SAIRANI (A.Ramu) sustained a cut injury to left hind pastern.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f SAIRANI.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f GOOD FRUIT.

It was reported after the last race at 6:25 p.m that SAIRANI (A.Ramu) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade IV). Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a firness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.

8^th Race: 117. The Madhugiri Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (9 Runners).

Jockey A. Imran Khan replaced the indisposed Suraj Narredu on ROYAL REIN.

Shortly after the start PROM QUEEN (A.Ashok Kumar) which was a little slow to move , steadied when EXTRA SPARK (A.Ramu) veered out.

KIMORA (Arshad Alam) steadied off the heels of ZAGATO (Rajesh Kumar M) at the 600 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ROYAL REIN.

9^th Race: 118. The Kitty Bank Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over at the time of starting (10 Runners).

COOLMORE (R.Anand) began awkwardly brushing CONQUISTADOR (J.H.Christopher ).

Shortly after the start AQUA ARIA (T.S.Jodha) eased from PRESIDANTS RULE (A.Ramu).

Near the 1000 Meters PRESIDENTS RULE (A.Ramu) steadied from the heels of CONQUISTADOR (J.H.Christopher ).

An enquiry has been opened into improved performance of ARUN (A.Ashok Kumar) Trained by J.Babu Rao in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No 82 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 i.e.The Kudremukh Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45 the and ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced.

An enquiry has been opened into the Running and Riding of COOLMORE Trained by G.Sandhu and Ridden by R.Anand.

ACTIVE GREY (Rajesh Kumar M) sustained a cut injury on right hind gaskin.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ARUN.
