RACING INCIDENTS

1st Race:             33. The Saddle Up Plate - Div.III - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (11 Runners).

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of AAYAN, reported that his mount was running green after entering the straight and near the 200 Metres shifted in inconviencing RAPID BOLT (T S Jodha).  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of CELESTIAL STORM, laid out from 1000 Metres to 400 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr g CHARMING GREY.

 

2nd  Race:            34. The Half a Crown Plate – Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to withdraw ROULETTE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed fetlock (Cellulitis due to injury). He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

NOBLE PRINCESS (S.K. Paswan) which was slow jumping out, ran detached from the field till about the final 200 Metres.  Trainer Mr. R V Manohar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

 

Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of CARBONADO, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ROYAL DEFENCE (Neil Farley) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of FANCY NUMBER, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing HIDDEN DEAL (Kiran Rai P) on his outside passing the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey Rajesh N, the rider of BE STRONG, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

 

BE STRONG (Rajesh N) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

 

FANCY NUMBER (Irvan Singh) sustained a cut injury on right knee.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f GLITTERING.

 

3rd Race:             35. The Saddle Up Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (11 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge GALWAY GIRL (1st infringement).

 

At the start SAGRADA (D K Ashish), GALWAY GIRL (P Trevor) and BOLD VISION (A Vishwanath) were all slowly away.

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of PASSION FLORA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SAGRADA (D.K. Ashish) which in turn passed it on to AS GOOD AS IT GETS (A. Ramu) passing the 400 Metres.

 

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of PONTIAC, reported that his mount blundered passing the 800 Metres.  

 

WOODSTREAM (Chethana K) ran detached from the 300 Metres.  Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

 

Passing the 300 Metres PASSION FLORA (Chetan Kalay S) steadied from the heels of TIGER EYES (Irvan Singh).

 

Jockey A Ramu, the rider of AS GOOD AS IT GETS was questioned why he had an inordinate look to his inside near the 550 Metres. He said he heard calling on his inside and thought he was tightening another rider. His explanation was noted.

 

REAL GENEROUS (Neil Farley) ran detached from the field from the 1000 Metres. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

 

PONTIAC (T.S. Jodha) was pulled up by its rider in the final 250 Metres of the race. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f PONTIAC.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SAGRADA.

 

4th Race:             36. The Half a Crown Plate – Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (10 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw HECTOR (A. Velu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament and sore skin.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey S.K. Paswan replaced the indisposed Jockey Tauseef Ahmed on ORDERED STEPS.

 

ORDERED STEPS (S.K. Paswan) was extremely fractious, put its head down and was stuck under the gates for a considerable period of time. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained injuries on right fore cannon and right fore pastern. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Orders. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again and also give ORDERED STEPS adequate gate practice.

 

Jockey Shiva Kumar S, the rider of NOBLE SAPPHIRE reported that his mount was trying to run out after rounding the final bend.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from dk b m ORDERED STEPS.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SHREWD MASTER.

 

5th Race:             37. The Hoysala Trophy – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above   (9 Runners).

 

At the start MICKEY MOUSE (P Kiran Rai) began awkwardly, then raced wide from 1000 Metres till the home turn.

 

Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of MICKEY MOUSE, reported that his lost his whip passing the 350 Metres.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of AASHIKAARA was fined Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c AASHIKAARA.

 

6th Race:             38. The Udupi Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (12 Runners).

 

TRUST ME BOY (D. Patel) after jumping out, swerved towards the right, did not raise a fluent gallop.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy) was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

NESTO (Neil Farley) was difficult to load into the gates then became fractious. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was advised to give NESTO adequate gate practice.

 

ATMOS (P S Chouhan) was forced to race wide from 700 Metres till rounding the final bend.

 

SECRET DIMENSION (P Kiran Rai) was forced to race wide from 700 Metres till rounding the final bend.

 

Passing the 200 Metres ATMOS (P S Chouhan) steadied from MILLROSE (P Trevor).

 

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of SECRET DIMENSION reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

It was reported after the race that the left hind shoe of NESTO (Neil Farley) had apparently come off during the race.

 

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah and Jockey Neil Farley were questioned over the disappointing performance of NESTO. Jockey Neil Farley said that the gelding began well but tired from the 200 Metres. Mr Neil Darashah said that NESTO was starting for the first time after 9 months and having had a bowed tendon. He had given the gelding 2 mock race and thought he would run the 1400 Metres. He added it is his intention to start NESTO in a 1200 Metres at its next start. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination; the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both sides. Hence Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs. 3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f VIVID IMPRESSION.

 

7th Race:             39. The Ashoka Chakra Cup - (About) 1800 Metres. 3 years old and over  (6 Runners).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SCARLET O HARA.

 

8th Race:             40. The Yadgir Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer  Mr. S Dominic to withdraw ACE MESMERISE  on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament and sore skin.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

OPEN PAGE (R Anand) was slowly away.

 

On jumping away CROWN EMPEROR (V R Jagadeesh) veered to the right.

 

JACKIE OH (R Vaibhav) jumped awkwardly inwards and shifted in sharply and bumped the hind quarters of AIR TIGHT (Indrajeet Singh) as a result JACKIE OH stumbled, STROMBOLITE (Anjar Alam) and SALZBURG (D K Ashish) which had to be checked by their respective riders to avoid striking the front runner.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LOVEOFMYLIFE.

 

9th Race:             41. The Saddle Up Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (10 Runners).

 

Jockey S K Paswan replaced the indisposed Jockey Tauseef Ahmed on COLOUR OF GOLD.

 

AZZURRO (P.Trevor) after dislodging Jockey P Trevor on the way to the starting point was recaptured and on examination had sustained bruises to the right hind hence it withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

 

ROCK WITH US (Nasir Imam) after jumping out, swerved towards the right, did not raise a fluent gallop.  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Near the 300 Metres RAPID ADVANCE (T.S. Jodha) shifted in when struck with the whip forcing the Jockey to stop riding and straightening his mount. 

 

AZZURRO (P. Trevor) sustained bruises on right hind cannon. 

 

It was reported after the race at 6:00 p.m that ARTHURIAN (A Imran Khan) pulled up lame on right hind due to sprained stifle. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
