False Rails : Average width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 7 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post.
1st Race: 9. The Trombay Plate - Div.II -(About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda to withdraw ZAGATO on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey C. Harish, the rider of TONY MONTANA, reported that his mount blundered passing the 850 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained knee. Trainer Mr. Babu Rao J was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the 4th race at 3.20 p.m. that MOTIVATION (D.K. Ashish) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy-Grade IV). Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Kiran Rai P was questioned over the performance of HIDDEN HERO. He was instructed to sit in a forward position but after jumping well the colt dropped the bit. Near the 1200 Metres Jockey Kiran Rai P was able to urge along to obtain a closer position. Near the 850 Metres when TONY MONTANA (C. Harish) stumbled he moved out as he thought that the horse had fallen. At the 300 Metres when struck with the whip HIDDEN HERO (Kiran Rai P) shifted inwards then at the 250 Metres when Kiran Rai P went to change the whip into his right hand, he accidentally dropped his left rein. The Club's Veterinay Officer reported that HIDDEN HERO (Kiran Rai P) sustained a cut to right fore fetlock.

2nd Race : 10. The Master Key Plate - Div II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
At the start FRUIT PRINCE (P. S Chouhan) and BIG BEN (T.S. Jodha) were
slow to move losing ground.
GOODWILL WARRIOR (J.H. Christopher) could not get a clear run soon after jumping
out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of MIRACLES OF LIFE, which pulled hard in the early stages of the race, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of INDIAN LEGEND, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to JEYEM'S SPIRIT (A. Ashok Kumar) which in turn passed it on to GOODWILL WARRIOR (J.H. Christopher) on his inside passing the red marker post.
Near the 200 Metres WESTERN LADY (Kiran Rai P) when making ground laid in when struck with the whip, Jockey Kiran Rai P then rode the filly hands and heels.
WESTERN LADY (Kiran Rai P) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left eye lid.
SUPER SALONI (Afsar Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 11. The Mount Joy Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rafed 00 to 25 (Terms) (12 Runners).
At the start ONE TO NOTE (P. Ramesh) and LIQUID ASSET (Ashok Kumar A) were slowly away.
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of CONJURER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and taking out LIQUID ASSET (A. Ashok Kumar)on his outside passing the 150 Metres.
ONE TO NOTE (P. Ramesh) raced wide in the middle stages of the event.

4th Race : 12. The Master Key Plate Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
GALWAY GIRL (Arshad Alam) was slow to move when the gates were released.
Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji and Jockey D.K. Ashish were questioned over the apparent disappointing performance of SAKCHI. Mr. Darius Byramji stated that he had instructed the rider to be close or running 5th or 6th which is the filly's pattern of racing. This was confirmed by Ashish. Mr. Byramji said that from the wide barrier Ashish was unable to obtain that position due to the fast early pace and was forced to race wide in the early stages of the event. To save ground Ashish said he eased back realizing that the false rails was out 7 Metres from 1000 Metres until into the straight. He added that was disappointed in obtaining a clear passage in the straight until the closing stages when he was able to ride the filly out. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Chief Veterinary Officer reported that it had sustained cut injuries on right stifle and hock.

5th Race : 13. The Madras Race Club Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. 3 year old Indian Horses (foaled in 2011) (6 Runners).
AUTHENTIC (Y.S. Srinath) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up as a result it got injured on left fore inside cannon whereby the rider was also injured. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed to give the gelding gate practice before accepting with AUTHENTIC again.
HIDDEN SOLDIER (Kiran Rai P) was fractious inside the gates. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to give the gelding gate practice before accepting with HIDDEN SOLDIER again.
SMOKING BELL (P.S. Chouhan) planted and lost many lengths and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction o the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track and 2 gate practices.

6th Race : 14. The Air Force Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey D.K. Ashish replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on STAR OF DESTINY in the above race.
From 100 Metres to the winning post BAZINGA (Kiran Rai P) was unable to obtain a clear run. BAZINGA (Kiran Rai P) sustained a cut to right gaskin.
From its wide barrier SOVIET UNION P. Trevor) was forced to cover extra ground.
HATCHET HARRY (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on left fore due to fracture of sesamoide bones. Hence it was humanely euthanized in the evening.
It was reported after the race that SHERLOCK HOLMES (M. Prabhakaran) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

7th Race : 15. The Malaprabha Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
OPEN PAGE (R. Anand) dipped on jumping away.
Shortly after the start SALZBURG (R. Vaibhav) eased from MANTA RAY (S. John) near 150 Metres. SALZBURG (R. Vaibhav) was taken wide to obtain a clear run.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m IGAH IGAH IGAH.
8th Race : 16. The Trombay Plate Div I- (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
At the start JET SET GO (D. Patel) dipped.
SUPER SURPRISE (Irvan Singh) planted losing considerable ground. Trainer Samar Singh was informed that he must accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
