RACING INCIDENTS

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 3.7 Metres from 1600 Metres to the Winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 51. The Dharwar Plate Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
FANCY NUMBER (Irvan Singh) was slowly away.
SECRET LAUNCH (Arshad Alam) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced NEW VICTOR (Nitin Singh) and shortly after the start they bumped each other.
At the start SPEEDSTRESS (P.S. Chouhan) and INTERACTIVE (R. Vaibhav) bumped.
INTERACTIVE (R. Vaibhav) had to be checked by its rider in anticipation of CROZIET (G. Ararsh) shifting in passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey Adarsh, the rider of CROZIET, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
SECRET LAUNCH (Arshad Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. Subsequently Jockey Arshad Alam when questioned regarding the poor performance of his mount in the race. He stated that (a) his instructions were to sit in 3rd/4th position and not to go to the front; (b) After the bump he received at the start his mount was very keen and as such he was forced to travel wide despite his best effort; and (c) After entering the straight he asked for an effort his mount gave nothing after the 300 Metres and was falling back even when he was urging his mount. His explanation was noted.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f SPEEDSTRESS.
2nd Race: 52. The Planetarium Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (12 Runners).
SILHOUETTE (A. Ramu) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Nikhil M Punna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
SIMRA (Irvan Singh) was slowly away.
TRADITION (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have burst its blood vessels (endoscopy Grade III at 3.10 p.m.). Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Near the 900 Metres FASHION FLAME (S. Shobhan Babu) steadied to avoid the heels of INSPIRATOR (A.R. Pradeep).
ATTRACTOR (Ajeet Kumar) was forced to travel wide between the 800 Metres till about 500 Metres.
It was reported after the race that MUSICAL ROMANCE (Deepak Singh) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BELLA PINKY.
3rd Race: 53. The Dharwar Plate Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of MIRACLES OF LIFE, reported that his mount lost its right hind action after he received a bump from RARE AND GORGEOUS (Yash Narredu) soon after the start.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of MIRACLES OF LIFE, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of RARE AND GOEGEOUS, reported that he lost his whip passing the 400 Metres.
It was reported after the race that the right fore shoe of SAIRANI (P.S. Chouhan) had apparently come off during the race.
MYSTICAL SHADOW (Kiran Rai P) sustained a gum injury during the race.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of GOLDEN DIAMOND trained by Mr. Warren Singh and ridden by Jockey Deepak Singh.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f MIRACLES OF LIFE.
4th Race: 54. The Antaragange Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
VOLANS (Chetan Kalay S) reared up as the gates opened and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behavior Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
It was reported after the race that VOLANS (Chetan Kalay S) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BLIZZARD OF OZ (Shiva Kumar S) was inclined to lay out in the final 200 Metres of the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g HILLTON.
5th Race: 55. The Kalinadi Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge ROMEO (R. Vaibhav). Subsequently ‘all black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Between the 1400 Metres and the 1300 Metres CONNEMARA (P.S. Chouhan) was inconvenienced by SAKCHI (Irvan Singh) then near the 1000 Metres CZAR RULE (Arshad Alam) eased from the heels of SAKCHI (Irvan Singh) which was racing fiercely and was hanging out in the early stages of the race.
It was observed that near the 100 Metres Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of BAZINGA accidentally dropped his left rein and when gathering the rein in the process dropped his whip.
SAKCHI (Irvan Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sustained injuries on right hock and fetlock joint.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g STAR OF DESTINY.
6th Race: 56. The Kempegowda Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
On jumping away SOLITAIRE ROYALE (M.A. Roushan) threw its head in the air.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of AUSTIN, reported that his mount stumbled soon after the start.
SWEET SECRET (A.R. Pradeep) raced fiercely between the 1100 Metres and 900 Metres and was eased when tightened for galloping room.
SECRET PUNCH (Chetan Kalay S) was forced to race wide between the 700 Metres till about 400 Metres.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, THE MUSE (Indrajeet Singh) shifted and clipped the heels of SUNSTONE (Anjar Alam) blundering losing ground.
SUPER START (Yas Narredu) was forced to race wide between the 700 Metres till about 400 Metres.
THE MUSE (Indrajeet Singh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left fore pastern.

7th Race: 57. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey P. Kiran Rai replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on ACE LEXINGTON
SUMMER GOLD (A. Ramu) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
MIDNIGHT CRUZE (Arshad Alam) steadied of the heels of STIMULATE (Yash Narredu) passing the 1000 Metres.
Near the 50 Metres ACE LEXINGTON (P. Kiran Rai) shifted in when struck with the whip causing Kiran Rai to straighten his mount.

8th Race: 58. The Kentucky Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on OUR LITTLE DRAGON.
At the start EUCALYPTUS (S. Selvaraj) Jumped in bumping JINGLE BELLS (Arshad Alam) on to TREE LOUNGE (Yash Narredu).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c HENDRIX.
