RACING INCIDENTS

Going                         : Good

Penetrometer Reading :  3.1 Cms.

False Rails                  : Average width of 3.7 Metres from 1600 Metres

                                   to the Winning Post from its original position.

1^st Race:    59. The December Plate  -  (About) 1100 Metres. For Horses 2 years old only (terms) (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Narredu to withdraw DIGNIFIED on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to sprained stifle.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

OPHELIA (Yash Narredu) was extremely fractious inside the gates, refused to remain inside, sat down and came out of the gates without the bridle.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

At the start ALL IN (R. Vaibhav) and ETERNAL FLAME (A.R. Pradeep) brushed. MULTI APP (Neeraj Rawal) which was drawn between these was a little slow to move and was forced to be eased.

ETERNAL FLAME (A.R. Pradeep) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon.

ALL IN (R. Vaibhav) blundered passing the 350 Metres. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f NEW ALLIANCE.

2^nd Race:    60. The Nelamangala Plate –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

Shortly after the start ONE TO NOTE (D. Patel) and BLACK POWER (M. Prabhakaran) bumped.

Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of WESTERN LADY, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ANGELA (A. Velu) on his inside passing the 1200 Metres.

Making the 950 Metres turn FLYING BULLET (P. Ramesh) and ONE TO NOTE (D. Patel) bumped.

Approaching the 300 Metres WESTERN LADY (Kiran Rai P) eased to avoid the heels of SHAHRAAN (Adarsh G) and shifted out inconveniencing ANGELA (A. Velu).

WESTERN LADY (Kiran Rai P) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Near the 180 Metres INDIAN LEGEND (Irvan Singh) ran on to the heels of the tiring SHAHRAAN (Adarsh G) and stumbled.

An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of CELESTIAL STORM, trained by Mr. S Inayathulla, as compared to its previous run in Race No.33 i.e. The Saddle Up Plate – Div.III (About) 1400 Metres, horses rated 20 to 45 on 22^nd November 2014.

APOLLO RISING (Syed Asgar) sustained cut injury on right hock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f WESTERN LADY.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g CELESTIAL STORM.

3^rd Race:    61. The Galloping Acres Stud Plate - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (7 Runners).

It was observed that SPANISH CANNON (Arshad Alam) was hanging ‘in’ in the final 250 Metres of the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g AUTHENTIC.  

4^th Race:    62. The Huthari Festival Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners)

MARKUS SITTIKUS (Kiran Rai P) and REFRESHED (Yash Narredu) were slowly away.

APPY’S PRIDE (Ashok Kumar A) ran detached from the field.  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

It was reported after the race that SEVEN OF HEARTS (Shobhan Babu) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DIAMOND QUEST.  

5^th Race:    63. The Star Luminary Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw CRAZY PINEAPPLE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflammed suspensory ligament.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

At the start ONLY PRINCE (R. Vaibhav) was slow to move losing ground.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V to withdraw HIDDEN SOLDIER as it bolted on the way to the weighing scale.

EVALINA (Keanes G Steyn), JET SET GO (P. Ramesh) and ASIAN STAR (A. Ramu) brushed at the start.

Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of SECRET DIMENSION was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in forcing ORIENTAL BELLE (Nitin Singh) inwards and continued in bumping JET SET GO (P. Ramesh) near the 1300 Metres.

ONLY PRINCE (R. Vaibhav) was inclined to lay out for the major part of the race.

EQUAL TERMS (P.S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s veterinary officer it was reported that it was found to have an inflamed ulcerative epiglottic entrapment (Endoscopy at 4:35 p.m). Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s veterinary officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from b g HIDDEN SOLDIER.    

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SECRET DIMENSION.

6^th Race:     64. The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy – (Grade III)  (About) 1200 Metres. 3 years old and over (Terms) (8 Runners).

ROCK WITH U (P.S. Chouhan) blundered passing 350 Metres.

IM DIFFERENT (Arshad Alam) blundered passing the 350 Metres.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

7^th  Race:    65. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Trophy – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (12 Runners).

At the start COUNTRYS PRIDE (Yash Narredu), PENTAGRAM (Arshad Alam) and BLITZSCHNELLE (Keanen G. Steyn) bumped.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ANFIELD, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in near the 1100 Metres inconveniencing BLITZSCHNELLE (Keanen G Steyn).

SALTORO RIDGE (R. Vaibhav) was forced to cover extra ground from 1000 Metres until the 500 Metres.

TEMUJIN (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right hock. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PENTAGRAM.  

8^th Race:    66. The Huthari Festival Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners)

RAKSHITHA (Nitin Singh) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaivour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Near the 950 Metres VIVA DIVA (Harish B) steadied from GAGAN STAR (Vishwanath A) which laid in slightly.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g ZAGATO.

47. The Sohna Stud Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above.  

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to the Stewards for inconsistent pattern of running and reversal of form of his charge b g MAGNITUDE STAR, the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.37 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 i.e. the Hoysala Trophy – (about) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 60 and above run on Saturday, 22^nd November 2014 when ridden by Jockey Irvan Singh it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry on 6^th December 2014 and examined Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to fine Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar a sum of Rs.20,000/- for inconsistent pattern of running and reversal of form of his charge b g MAGNITUDE STAR, the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.37 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 i.e. the Hoysala Trophy –(about)  1600 Metres, for horses rated 60 and above run on Saturday, 22^nd November 2014 when ridden by Jockey Irvan Singh it ran unplaced.
