RACING INCIDENTS

                                         winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:     174. The February Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).

 

It was observed that DAZZLING BAY (Sahanawaz) was running green in the final 300 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that AMAZING CHARM (Suraj Narredu) had lost its left fore shoe during the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c  DESERT GOD.  

 

2nd Race:     175. The Doddaballapur Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

 

TAMMY TUNE (Vivek) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

REVA  (Vishwanath A) threw its head up in the air at the start.

 

TRAPEZOID (Irvan Singh) was slowly away.

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of ICECREAM, was cautioned for allowing his mount to shift out in the final 200 Metres.  He was informed to keep his mount straighter in future.  

 

REVA (A Vishwanath) was impounded for veterinary examintaion after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

WESTERN LADY (Rajesh Kumar M) sustained gum injury.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BIG BEN.

 

3rd Race:     176. The Gumbaz Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw HIDDEN DEAL (Rajesh Kumar M) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to injury (cellulitis).   He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

DING DANG DONG (A Vishwanath) began awkwardly then raced ungenerously for several strides losing ground.

 

SECRET PRAYER (Chetan Kalay S) bumped SOUTHERN FANTASY (Sahanawaz) at the start.

 

Near the 1000 Metres TALENTBURST (Neeraj Rawal) and RENEE (P.S. Chouhan) bumped.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of RENEE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SHAFT (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey D. Patel, the rider of HIGH AND HANDSOME, reported that his mount pulled up lame passing the 200 Metres.  On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported to have pulled up lame on right fore due to fracture of humerus. Hence it was euthanized.

RENEE (P.S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and on examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported to have pulled up lame on right hind due to a cut injury on right hind gaskin. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of TALENTBURST, was informed to keep his mount straight as it shifted ground over the concluding stages.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f AMANDA.

 

4th Race:    177. The K. Venkatesh Nayak Memorial Trophy – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (12 Runners).

 

SON OF STARS (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) shifted out sharply near the 1500 Metres and raced wide thereafter.

 

Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of HILLTON, reported that he accidentally dropped his whip passing the 600 Metres.

 

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of  SHEER ELATION, reported that his mount suddenly stopped galloping passing the 300 Metres.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. An enquiry is being held into the riding of Jockey Ryan Marshall in the  concluding stages of the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f EQUINE LOVE. 

 

5th Race:    178. The Saptharishi Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated  60 and above  (12 Runners).

 

ATHLETIC STAR (S Chetan Kalay) was slowly away.

 

Near the 1200 Metres, VIVID IMPRESSION (Vivek) checked in anticipation of IRON MARSHALL (David Allan) shifting in from PIPPIN (P.S. Chouhan). All riders were told to exercise greater care in future.

 

Near the 1000 Metres VIVID IMPRESSION (Vivek) steadied from IRON MARSHALL (David Allan)

 

EVRAZ(Shiva Kumar S) sustained bleeding cut injury on tongue (Ventral aspect).

 

VIVID IMPRESSION (Vivek) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported other than a cut injury on left hind bulb of heel and also it had lost its left hind shoe during the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c PIPPIN.

 

6th Race:     179. The Siddaganga  Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

 

YELLOWZONE (D. Gnaneshwar) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.  Trainer Mr Kishan Thomas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

AYRTON (Neeraj Rawal) was slowly away.

 

ATLAS POWER (B. Mahesh) and ALL PROOF (V.R. Jagadeesh) brushed at the start.

 

Near the 950 Metres whilst racing in a crowded field ALL PROOF (V.R. Jagadeesh) eased from ARZIKI (Naveen B.L.)

 

Near the 100 Metres ALL PROOF (V.R. Jagadeesh) steadied from CLICK (Chetan Kalay S) as a result ARTORIUS (Imran Chisty) was inconvenienced.

 

CLICK (Chetan Kalay S) sustained gum injury.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ACE LEXINGTON.

 

7th Race:     180. The Amazing Grey Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

 

COLOUR OF GOLD (P.S. Chouhan) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left hind.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order.  Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

BRIGHT LADY (S.K. Paswan) reared up and flipped over at the starting gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.

 

Near the 250 Metres APPY’S PRIDE (Vishwanath A) shifted out inconveniencing GIFT OF LOVE (D. Gnaneshwar).

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SHE LOVES IT accidentally dropped his whip in the final 50 Metres of the race.

 

GIFT OF LOVE (D Gnaneshwar) was impounded for veterinary examintaion after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m SHE LOVES IT.  

 

8th Race:     181. The Siddaganga  Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

Shortly after the start MANTA RAY (Chetan Kalay S) eased when tightened between SHERLOCK HOLMES (Kavraj Singh) and PRICELESS ACE (David Allan) due to general crowding.

 

It was reported after the race that SHERLOCK HOLMES (Kavraj Singh) suffered from severe E.I.P.H. and died on the track. Near the 200 Metres after falling Jockey Kavraj Singh dismounted giving him a harmless fall.
