1st Race:    182. The Mandya Plate – Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (9 Runners).

 

FOREST TERN (Dashrat Singh) which was slowly away laid out from 900 Metres  to 500 Metres covering extra ground.

 

Near the 300 Metres AIR DANCER (V.R. Jagadeesh) was disappointed when attempting to secure a run between BAZINGA (Rajesh Kumar M) and FLAME OF PASSION (C.S. Jodha).

 

Approaching the 1100 Metres BLITZSCHNELLE (Imran Chisty) clipped the heels of CATTLEYA (M Mark) and dipped.

 

Near the 100 Metres WHY SHOULD I (A. Imran Khan) shifted in inconveniencing OUR LITTLE DRAGON (Chetan Kalay S) which eased losing ground.  Jockey A. Imran Khan was fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

It was reported after the race that FLAME OF PASSION (C.S. Jodha) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of OUR LITTLE DRAGON, placed Second by the Judge objected against Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of WHY SHOULD I, placed First for “In the last 100 Metres the winner cut across me and I had to check my horse which cost me the race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned.  After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g WHY SHOULD I. 

 

2nd Race:     183. The Mercara Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).

 

ASPASIA (A Ashok Kumar) took a fly jump.

 

Near the 950 Metres SILKEN WATER (Ryan Marshall) dipped.

 

At the 850 Metres SILKEN WATER (Ryan Marshall) steadied from OMBER GLAZE (Dashrat Singh) then near 700 Metres eased from RAIN KISSED (Suraj Narredu) and near the 300 Metres eased when FOTOGENIC (V.R. Jagadeesh) shifted inwards.

 

OMBER GLAZE (Dashrat Singh) ran out at the 800 Metres carrying REFERENT (Sahanawaz) wider on the track.

 

RAIN KISSED (Suraj Narredu) was inclined to run out from 800 Metres.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

From its wide barrier GARV (Imran Chisty) was forced to cover extra ground making first turn.

 

It was reported after the race that IGNITION (C.S. Jodha) lost its left hind shoe during the race.

 

It was reported after the race that ASPASIA (Ashok Kumar A) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LET THERE BE LIGHT.   

 

3rd Race:     184. The Tiptur Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Vivek, the rider of ROMANS RUN, was fined Rs.5,000/- for using a body protector not approved by the Stipendiary Stewards to ride in races. 

 

At the start KINGS KID (A. Imran Khan) and BOLTS COLT (Naveen B.L.) bumped whereby Jockey B.L. Naveen got momentarily unbalanced.

 

TREE LOUNGE (Neeraj Rawal) sustained bleeding cut injury on left gaskin.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g SECRET LAUNCH.

 

4th Race:    185. The Bull Temple Trophy – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated  60 and above  (8 Runners).

 

INQUISITION (Sahanawaz) was slowly away.

 

FAIR GAME (K Raja Rao) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

NIMFEA (C.S. Jodha) and FAIR GAME (K. Raja Rao) brushed at the start.

 

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of ETERNAL DESIRE, accidentally dropped his whip near 200 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SCARLET EMPEROR.

 

5th Race:     186. The Bangalore Winter Million )(Grade III) – (About) 1200 Metres.  3 year old horses (Foaled in 2012) (5 Runners).

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horses viz.:

6th Race:     187. The Octogonal  Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (10 Runners).

 

AMAZON BAY (Imran Chisty) was slowly away.

 

THUNDER (Rejesh Kumar M) refused to go to the starting gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.  Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that due to the continuous unpredictable behaviour of the gelding, he was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ARUN.

 

7th Race:     188. The Dharmasthala Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Dominic to withdraw SAIRANI on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

SWEET ANGEL (H G Rathod) was slowly away.

 

MYSTICAL SHADOW (A Ashok Kumar) and SUMMER SKY ( K Raja Rao) were impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of FOREST QUEEN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for near the 900 Metres he shifted in tightening WESTERN UNION (Neeraj Rawal) on to MEHERANI (Imran Chisty) resulting in  both horses losing ground.

 

Approaching the 900 Metres CANNON BALL (Vivek) ran outwards taking SWEET ANGEL (H G Rathod) wider on the track.

 

It was reported after the race that FOREST QUEEN (Chetan Kalay S) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ERAGON.

 

 

8th Race:    189. The Mandya Plate – Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (9 Runners).

At the start SIMPLETON (S Chethan Kalay) was slow to move losing ground.

 

HIDDEN SOLDIER (Rajesh Kumar M) jumped out awkwardly.

 

SHREWD MASTER (Dashrat Singh) jumped out bumping NEW EMPEROR (Shobhan Babu).

 

It was reported after the race that ATMOS (Vishwanath A) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed that he must produce Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ANFIELD (S K Paswan) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SHREWD MASTER.

BANGALORE WINTER MEETING 2014-15

172. The Gaganachukki Plate (About) 1400 Metres, horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over.

 

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ATTRACTIVE BAY for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 13th February 2015 and examined Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar and trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda. After deliberations, they decided to a) suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar from 2-3-2015 to 14-3-2015 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) (permitted to ride work) and b) severely caution trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda as to his repeated apperance before the Stewards in regards to the running of his charges in future.
