Rail position                   : Railing fixed at original position.

 

1st Race:     190. The Talakaveri Plate – Div.II (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (9 Runners).

 

Jockey V.R Jagadeesh replaced Jockey Shobhan Babu on VICIOUS CIRCLE.

 

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of SPLENDID BRAVE, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race thereby passing the 700 Metres he bumped KALINGA (Shiva Kumar S) on his outside.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S Britto (deputizing for Trainer Mr. S. Dominic) was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

EXPERTISE (A Ashok Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f KALINGA. 

 

2nd Race:     191. The Manipal Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (whips not allowed) (11 Runners).

 

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of MISTER GREY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper practice of hitting the horse with his hand during the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m FASHION FLAME.

 

3rd Race:     192. The Talakaveri Plate – Div.I (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (8 Runners).

 

MAJESTIC STYLE (Sahanawaz) and POSSIMPOSSIBLE (R Vaibhav) were slowly away.

 

POSSIMPOSSIBLE (R Vaibhav) ran wide from 900 Metres until 700 Metres.

 

Jockey David Allan, the rider of THE DARK KNIGHT, was questioned why he pulled the colt out of the race near the 850 Metres. He stated that after travelling a short distance he felt THE DARK KNIGHT was not striding out in the right fore leg. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have pulled up lame on right fore and also sustained cut injury on left hind pastern. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Near the 70 Metres, HUMMING BIRD (V R Jagadeesh) shifted inwards when struck with the whip. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s Veterinary officer it was found to have sharp molars on right lower jaw. Trainer Mr. G Nityanand was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).  

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c ALL IN.

 

4th Race:    193. The K.S. Premchand Memorial Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (8 Runners).

 

SALTOFTHEEARTH (V.R. Jagadeesh) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders.  Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

SUPREME DOMINATOR (Ajeet Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Narredu deputizing for Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

VENCEDORA (David Allan) took a fly jump.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of THE ARTIST, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SAKCHI (Imran Chisty) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

VENCEDORA (David Allan) and BEAUTY IS TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) brushed at the 700 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that BEAUTY IS TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

SAKCHI (Imran Chisty) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore pastern.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SCHIAVONE. 

 

5th Race:    194. The S. Rangarajan Memorial Trophy – (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated  60 and above  (6 Runners).

 

PASSING FULCRUM (Arshad Alam) blundered passing 850 Metres.

 

AZZURO (P Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g REGAL BOAST.

 

6th Race:     195. The Classic Story Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

 

STAR KINGDOM (K Chethana) was slowly away.

 

MAGNETIZE (S Chetan Kalay) and RUBI REY (Tauseef Ahmed) bumped at the start with RUBI REY losing ground.

 

Near the 300 Metres RUBI REY (Tauseef Ahmed) eased from the heels of VIVA DIVA (Rajesh Kumar M).

 

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of ZERMATT, reported that he accidentally dropped his whip in the final 75 Metres of the race.

 

It was reported after the race that CUTE BEAST (V.R. Jagadeesh) pulled up lame on right fore.  Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of MAGNETIZE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ADRIPHOS. 

 

7th Race:     196. The Katil Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).

 

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh replaced Jockey Shobhan Babu on TAQDEER KA BADSHAH.

 

SEA OF STARS (M Prabhakaran) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders.  Trainer Mr. S Britto (deputizing for trainer Mr. S Dominic) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

At the start STORMONT (P. Trevor) and CHINA ONE (Suraj Narredu) bumped.

 

Near the 1000 Metres DIAMOND GREEN (P. Mani) shifted out bumping GLOW AND EMBERS (Arshad Alam).

 

Near the 800 Metres CHINA ONE (Suraj Narredu) shifted in causing TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (V.R. Jagadeesh) to check.

 

Near the 700 Metres QUAKER RIDGE (David Allan) laid out which resulted in DRACARYS (Adarsh G) checking.

 

Near the 500 Metres STORMONT (P. Trevor) eased from the heels of CHINA ONE (Suraj Narredu) and shifted out bumping DAENERYS (Rajesh Kumar M).

 

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of TAQDEER KA BADSHAH, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ in the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

 

Over the final 100 Metres TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (V.R. Jagdeesh) was blocked for a clear passage.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c CHINA ONE.   

 

8th Race:     197. The Classic Story Plate – Div.II -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

 

Jockey Tauseef Ahmed replaced the indisposed Jockey P. Mani on PRIVATE PARTY.

 

At the start PRIVATE PARTY (Tauseef Ahmed) jumped in bumping ATTRACTIVE BAY (S Chetan Kalay) onto SUMMER SENSATION (G Sai Vamshi).

 

Shortly after the start PRIVATE PARTY (Tauseef Ahmed) shifted in tightening ATTRACTIVE BAY (S Chetan Kalay) onto HIMAVARI (Irvan Singh). Jockey Tauseef Ahmed was fined Rs.5,000/- for careless riding.

 

HIMAVARI (Irvan Singh) sustained gum injury.

 

Routine Sample was not taken for analysis from the winner ch g PRINCE ACADEMY as it did not oblige hence sampling was abandoned.
