Rail position                   : Railing fixed at its original position.

 

1st Race:    198. The Star of Windsor Plate – Div.II – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (10 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw ENCHANTRESS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to capped elbow (inflammed).  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Near the 950 Metres, NOBLE SAPPHIRE (S Shiva Kumar) clipped the heels of WHAT A WONDER (A Imran Khan) and blundered.

 

REAL GENEROUS (T.S. Jodha) blundered approaching the 250 Metres.

 

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of PASSION FLORA, was questioned regarding the disappointing performance of PASSION FLORA. He stated that he was instructed to sit 3rd or 4th position then give her day light in the straight which he did, but she gave nothing under his riding and shifted in near 100 Metres under the whip then raced in a crab like manner.

 

It was reported after the 3rd race at 3.33 p.m that MASKED MARVEL (P. Trevor) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade IV) and also sustained gum injury. Trainer Mr. G. Aravind was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the 3rd race at 3.35 p.m that PASSION FLORA (D. Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III). Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

BE INSPIRED (Suraj Narredu) sustained cut injury on left hind coronet.

 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f PASSION FLORA.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c BE INSPIRED. 

 

2nd Race:     199. The Mudabidri Plate – (About) 1100 Metres.

For horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Irvan Singh replaced the indisposed Jockey P. Mani on VITO.

 

RULING PASSIONS (T S Jodha) was slowly away.

 

On jumping away VITO (D Patel) and EMANCIPATION (S Mallikarjun) bumped.

 

Near the 900 Metres, BIG COPPER PENNY (Ajeet Kumar) eased when tightened for galloping room.

 

SIMRA (B L Naveen) was blocked for a clear passage over the final 200 Metres of the race.

 

HONOURABLE EMPRESS (G Sai Vamshi) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

VITO (D Patel) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 400 grams.

 

EMANCIPATION (S Mallikarjun) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 300 grams.

 

BUZZ THE TOWER (D. Gnaneshwar) ran detached from the field.  Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.  

 

When questioned over the disappointing performance of NEW VICTOR (H.G. Rathod) Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar said he instructed the rider to jump well and do your best.  He could offer no explanation.  Jockey H.G. Rathod said  that he followed the instructions as stated, the gelding raced keenly and although it strode out in the early part of the straight stopped over the final 200 Metres.

 

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was asked if he could explain the apparent improved performance of EMANCIPATION (S. Mallikarjun) as to the mares previous run on 16-1-2015 in Race No.129. He said that it was over a month between run and the mare had been given less work. He added that he did not fancy EMANCIPATION (S. Mallikarjun). He said that she may have appreciated being fresh and over a shorter distance where he will restrict her to 1100 Metres or 1200 Metres races in future.

 

VITO (Irvan Singh) sustained bleeding cut injury on left hind coronet.

3rd Race:     200. The Alchemy Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, who have run atleast twice during Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 and not won a race anywhere after 1st November 2014, to be ridden by Indian Jockeys who have ridden during Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 and not ridden a winner anywhere after 1st November 2014 (12 Runners).

 

Jockey D. Patel replaced the indisposed Jockey P. Mani on CADOGAN.

 

At the start RED ADMIRAL (G Adarsh) and VIENTO PLATA (R Anand) bumped.

 

Near the 900 Metres, SOUL MAGIC (K Chethana) which was pulling hard eased from I SMILE (H G Rathod).

 

BROADWAY RANGER (S K Paswan) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

SOUL MAGIC (Chethana K) was pulled up by its rider passing the 400 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Satish Narredu (deputizing for trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of FRUIT PRINCE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not displaying adequate vigour in riding out his mount to the winning post.

 

It was reported after the 3rd race at 3.40 p.m that FRUIT PRINCE (P. Ramesh) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade II). Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g CADOGAN.

 

4th Race:    201. The F.K. Irani Memorial Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated  80 and above  (11 Runners).

 

NABISCO (Arshad Alam) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. 

 

CZAR OF ROMANCE (A. Imran Khan) dwelt losing considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one gate practice on a starting gate practice day.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TREASURE MOUNTAIN.

 

5th Race:    202. The Shravanabelagola Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji to withdraw FRANKNESS (Imran Chisty) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

At the start ROYAL SALUTE (A Imran Khan) jumped in bumping ICE CUTTER (Ajeet Kumar).

 

Near the 850 Metres ICE CUTTER (Ajeet Kumar) eased from WIND OF SOUL (K Chethana).

 

VEYRON (Adarsh G) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s veterinary officer it was reported after the last race at 6.20 p.m that it burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade IV). Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ROYAL SALUTE (A Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MICKEY MOUSE

 

6th Race:    203. The Tumkur Plate – Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

 

SCENIC BLAST (T S Jodha) was slowly away.

 

WOODBERG (K Chethana) dipped at the 850 Metres.

 

Near the 500 Metres, SANS FRONTIERES (Imran Chisty) shifted out causing LOVELY LADY (Suraj Narredu) to check. Jockey Imran Chisty was fined Rs.2,000/- for careless riding.

7th Race:     204. The Star of Windsor  Plate – Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda to withdraw HIDDEN HERO on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

CANDICE (Imran Chisty) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up, flipped over and sat back. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.

 

TIME AND SPACE (T.S. Jodha) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on right hind.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Orders. Trainer Mr. S Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ETERNAL FORTUNE (Nitin Singh) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two mock races on race days on the race track.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SIMPLY CLEVER.

 

8th Race:    205. The Tumkur Plate – Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Padmanabhan to withdraw KING OF THE COURT (David Allan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflamed cannon (cellulitis).  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

BLUES LEGEND (V R Jagadeesh) was slowly away.

 

Near the 850 Metres, THEJAGUAR (S Chethan Kalay) shifted in causing MY FAVOURITE VOICE (Imran Chisty) to check and shift out thereby taking SMOKEY SID (S K Paswan) wider on the track. Jockey S Chethan Kalay was fined Rs.2,000/- for careless riding.

 

THEJAGUAR (S Chethan Kalay) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 400 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m STROMBOLITE.
