1st Race: 164. The Narasimharaja Trophy Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only. (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to withdraw SEA DOVE (Vivek) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained injury on Pole with severe pain. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SEA OF STARS (P.S. Chouhan) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SPIRITUAL ACT (Arshad Alam) was slowly away then veered to the left.
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of HEISENBERG, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
It was observed that THE LIEUTENANT (Keanen G Steyn) laid ‘in’ in the final 100 Metres of the race.
It was observed that SELF AND BEYOND (G. Sai Vamshi) hung out between the 800 Metres till about rounding the final bend. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that PURPLE STAR (P. Trevor) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g THE LIEUTENANT.
2nd Race: 165. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji to withdraw SPEEDSTRESS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Dominic to withdraw ROYAL DEFENCE (T.S. Jodha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to bleeding cut injury on right knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
At the start THUNDERING CLOUD (Indrajeet Singh) jumped out inconveniencing REYNA (D. Patel).
ZULU FANTASY (M. Mark) raced greenly in the straight.
Near 150 Metres BE STRONG (Rajesh N) laid out under pressure.
Approaching the 1000 Metres DOOLIN (Sahanawaz) steadied from the heels of BROADWAY RANGER (Adarsh G) which shifted in slightly.
It was reported after the race that BE STRONG (Rajesh N) pulled up lame on right hind and also burst its blood vessels (endoscopy – grade IV - at 4.05 p.m.) Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MADAME SULTANA.
3rd Race: 166. The ILKAL Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).
GO GREEN (Arshad Alam) was slowly away.
It was reported after the race that CAPITALIZE (D. Gnaneshwar) lost his left hind shoe during the race.
It was reported after the race that GO GREEN (Arshad Alam) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan, deputizing for Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey David Allan was questioned regarding the performance of LIEGE LORD. He said that the horse did not travel well from the 1200 Metres and that he was niggling most of the race. He added that being up in distance and Class the horse although in a handy position at the 200 Metres failed to finish the race off.
Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of HILLTON, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

4th Race: 167. The Murudeshwara Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
REAL SHOW (R. Anand) was slowly away.
At the start BALANCE OF NATURE (Irvan Singh) threw its head up in the air.
At the start YOURESCINTILATING (Vishwanath A) threw its head up in the air.
Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.1000/- for not producing the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge MAGICAL FILLY. Subsequently ‘all black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.
BALANCE OF NATURE (Irvan Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 700 grams. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar deputizing for Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed that he will be called for an enquiry.
MAGICAL FILLY (G. Sai Vamshi) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.
It was reported after the race that ARYAN KNIGHT (P. Mani) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan deputizing for Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that YOURESCINTILATING (Vishwanath A) burst its blood vessels (endoscopy – grade I - at 4.00 p.m.) Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g SHAHRAAN.
5th Race: 168. The Narasimharaja Trophy Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).
KHALEESI (Naveen B.L.) jumped outwards at the start.
NEW PRINCE (Keanen G Steyn) and GRANADA (R. Vaibhav) were slowly away.
Near the 1100 Metres ALL THAT’S NICE (G. Sai Vamshi) shied inwards away from COLOSSAL MOMENTS (P. Trevor), this inconvenienced LIGHT OF MAGIC (A.R. Pradeep).
Near the 850 Metres AURIGA (Arshad Alam) shifted in tightening KHALEESI (Naveen B.L.) on to COLOSSAL MOMENTS (P. Trevor) both horses easing. Jockey Arshad Alam was reprimanded.

6th Race: 169. The Hurricane Stud Plate Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
VALERIAN (P.S. Chouhan) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Vishwanath A, the rider of JERSEY SHORE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (T.S. Jodha) which in turn passed it on to VALERIAN (P.S. Chouhan) along the rails which had to be steadied by its rider passing the 900 Metres.
VIRAT (Chetan Kalay) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 400 grams.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g VIRAT.
7th Race: 170. The Stayers Trial Stakes – (About) 2400 Metres. 4 years old and over at the time of starting (7 Runners).
Near the 1600 Metres AGOSTINI (P. Trevor) dipped and shifted in causing GLORIOUS LIGHT (Keanen G Steyn) to ease.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed horses viz:

8th Race: 171. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
FAUSTINA (Ryan Marshall) was slowly away.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f VENCEDORA.
9th Race: 172. The Gaganachukki Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.1,000/- for the late submission of the scratching form in respect of his charge DAWN OF LIGHT in the above race.
THUNDER (Chetan Kalay) refused to go to the starting point therefore THUNDER was withdrawn at 5.11 p.m. by Order of the Stewards prior to coming under Starter’s orders.
MUSICAL TREASURE (Nitin Singh) was slowly away.
Shortly after the start ACEEMPRESSJESSIE (Vishwanath A) eased when tightened for room between CHERRY HINTON (D.K. Ashish) and FANCY NUMBER (Vinod Shinde).
CHERRY HINTON (D.K. Ashish) pulled hard in the early stages of the race.
ATTRACTIVE BAY (Rajesh Kumar M) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b m MAGNETIZE.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of ATTRACTIVE BAY. After taking evidence from Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V and Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, Jockey was reported to the Stewards to answer a charge under Rule No.161(ii) (unsatisfactory riding).
10th Race: 173. The Hurricane Stud Plate Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
SOLITAIRE ROYALE (P.S. Chouhan) was examined in the saddling enclosure by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Shortly after the start SMITHSONITE (Anjar Alam) shifted out forcing HILLSBORO (S.K. Paswan) on to LOVEOFMYLIFE (Suraj Narredu) which eased from AMAZING REDD (Arshad Alam).
Near the 1000 Metres HILLSBORO (S.K. Paswan) eased from AMAZING REDD (Arshad Alam).
TALISKER (Chetan Kalay S) was held up for a clear passage between 100 Metres and 50 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h SHINNECOCK HILLS.
