RACING INCIDENTS

(222 - 231)

 

Track condition               : Good

Weather                           : Clear                        

Penetrometer Reading  : 3.0 Cms.

Rail position                   : Railing fixed at average width of 5 Metres

                                         from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres & 6.5

                                         Metres from 1000 Metres to 500 Metres

                                         and 5 Metres from 500 Metres to the

                                         winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:     222. The Somanathpur Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

BERNICIA (Anil J.H.) reared up as the gates opened and lost a few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

REAL SHOW (Vishwanath A) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

BERNICIA (Anil J.H.) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

It was reported after the last race at 6:15 p.m that DREAM NEO (Arshad Alam) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the last race at 6:18 p.m that ARTHUR (H G Rtahod) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g APOLLO GALAXY.

 

2nd Race:     223. The Kolar Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

 

LIGHT OF HEART (Harish B) was extremely fractious in the gates, reared up and sat down for a considerable period of time.  On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to be trotting lame on left hind and left fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order.  Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

INTENSIVE ACT (S Mallikarjun) was slowly away then dipped near 950 Metres.

 

Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali and Jockey Anjar Alam were questioned over Jockey’s riding on ALECIA in the straight.  Trainer Azhar Ali gave instructions to sit 3rd or 4th, lead if left in front and to use the whip in the firing line. The instructions were confirmed by Anjar Alam who stated that near 300 Metres PRECIOUS GLITTER (A. Imran Khan) shifted in crowding him then his mount had laid inwards which made and placed him at a disadvantage in easing ALECIA (Anjar Alam) out from behind PRECIOUS GLITTER (A. Imran Khan) and to use his whip.  He added that approaching he winning post he was able to give ALECIA (Anjar Alam) two hits with his whip but she laid in again.

 

ALECIA (Anjar Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f WHAT A WONDER.

 

3rd Race:     224. The Somanathpur Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J.S.Pillay to withdraw BALANCE OF NATURE on veterinary grounds as it was walking lame on left hind due to inflammed cannon.   He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ROCKA STAR (Vishwanath A) after jumping out swerved towards the right dislodging its rider.  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey S Chetan kalay was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in on THUNDER causing EMANCIPATION (A Imran Khan) to check near the 400 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BIG COPPER PENNY.

 

4th Race:     225. The Prince Ardent Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (12 Runners).

 

CONSPICUOUS (P Trevor) began awkwardly.

 

It was observed that A CROWN (H.G. Rathod) laid out throughout. 

 

ABLE MASTER (V.R. Jagadeesh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CONSPICUOUS.

 

5th Race:    226. The Nethravathi Trophy Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (11 Runners).

 

Jockey A. Vishwanath replaced the indisposed the indisposed Jockey M. Noornabi on COUNTRYS PRIDE.

 

DEEP BLUE STORM (K Chethana) was slowly away.

Near the 1000 Metres AZETIC STAR (M. Prabhakaran) when tightened for room between LIVING LEGEND (A. Velu) and GOOD FRUIT (D. Gnaneshwar) and when checking bumped the hind quarters of GOOD FRUIT.

 

Jockey A. Vishwanath, the rider of COUNTRYS PRIDE, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.  However Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

NEW EMPEROR (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury to the right fore cannon.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g NEW EMPEROR.  

 

6th Race:    227. The Hassan Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

GO GREEN (Adarsh G) which was slowly away was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

Reporting Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of ALL PROOF, to the Stewards for shifting in and causing severe interference to ATLAS POWER (A. Imran Khan) on his inside whereby the rider had to check losing ground passing the 500 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h WINGS OF FORTUNE.

 

7th Race:     228. The Delhi Race Club Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).

 

WIND WONDER (Nitin Singh) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced PENTAGRAM (P. Trevor) at the start.

 

FRENEMEE (Chetan Kalay S) shied inwards from PENTAGRAM (P. Trevor) approaching the 1100 Metres.

 

VIRAT (Dashrat Singh) brushed the rail passing the 1000 Metres.

 

PENTAGRAM (P. Trevor) eased off INQUISITION (Shiva Kumar S) approaching the 900 Metres.

 

VIRAT (Dashrat Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h ROYAL SALUTE.

 

8th Race:    229. The Kolar Plate Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated  20 to 45  (12 Runners).

 

At the start SENOR D (P. Mani) jumped out bumping ONTIME (Imran Chisty).

 

THE WINSTAR (Tauseef Ahmed) ran detached from the field.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was told to ensure a more competitive performance from THE WINSTAR at his next start.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RUSSIAN LINK.  

 

9th Race:     230. The Pratap Stud Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey A. Vishwanath replaced the indisposed Jockey M. Noornabi on AUMENTO.

 

At the start ATHLETIC STAR (S Chetan Kalay) was slow to move.

 

Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of MAGNITUDE STAR, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing KINGSTON TOWN (Syed Asgar) whereby ROYAL REIN (Suraj Narredu) which was travelling directly behind had to be shifted out by its rider thereby inconveniencing MASTER ACT (D. Gnaneshwar) and ARABIAN WARRIOR (T.S. Jodha) on his outside near 975 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f EQUINE LOVE.

 

10th Race:    231. The Nethravathi Trophy Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (9 Runners).

 

SAIRANI (Vishnath A) was examined at the saddling enclosure and was found to be walking lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order.  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

CHAMPAKALI (M. Prabhakaran) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start.  Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

Near the 1000 Metres MIRACLES OF LIFE (Arshad Alam) eased losing ground when tightened between SHE’S STUNNING (V R Jagadeesh) and EXPERT (Imran Chisty).

 

It was reported after the race that ANFIELD (G. Sai Vamshi) burst its blood vessels.   Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey V R Jagadeesh was fined Rs.2,000/- for allowing SHE’S STUNNING to move in causing EXPERT (Imran Chisty) to be checked.

 

When asked Jockey Imran Chisty said that EXPERT did not stride out freely from the 250 Metres. EXPERT was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SUPER FORCE.
