1^st Race: 232. The Champion Trainer Trophy – Div II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw MAGNIFICENT MARY (Keanen G Steyn) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind due to inflammed hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SPIRITUAL ACT (P. Trevor) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

EVERYONE KNOWS ME (Harish B) hung out near 950 Metres.

Near the 900 Metres DESERT GILT (Sahanawaz) checked to avoid the heels of TOPAZ (Dashrat Singh).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SIR MAJESTIC.

2^nd Race: 233. The Leading Tipster Trophy – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

Jockey Nitin Singh replaced the indisposed Jockey M. Noornabi on SHINING BAY.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of CENTRAL PARK, reported that his mount was lethargic despite his urgings approaching the 1200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that LUCKY THIRTEEN (D. Gnaneshwar) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SUEZY OH (Dashrat Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of SUEZY OH trained by Mr. V. Narayana Gowda and ridden by Jockey Dashrat Singh.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of LUCKY THIRTEEN, trained by Mr. V Narayana Gowda and ridden by Jockey D Gnaneshwar in the above race.

LIFE AWAITS (Vishwanath A) and RARE AND BOLD (Khurshad Alam) bumped at the start.

HAND OF FURY (Dashrat Singh) brushed the rails at 900 Metres.

Near the 200 Metres HUMMING BIRD (Imran Chisty) eased from SUPER SUCCESS (T.S. Jodha).

HAND OF FURY (Dashrat Singh) was laying ‘in’ in the straight.

COLOSSAL MOMENTS (P Trevor) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.

4^th Race: 235. The Leading Bookmaker Trophy-Div.I– (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey T.S. Jodha replaced the indisposed Jockey A. Imran Khan on ACE MESMERISE.

AMAZON BAY (A Vishwanath) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

It was reported after the 5^th race at 3.25 p.m. that SHE LOVES IT (D. Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III). Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5^th Race: 236. The Champion Jockey Trophy - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

Jockey T.S. Jodha replaced the indisposed Jockey A. Imran Khan on REAL SUPREME.

CROZIET (Anil J.H.) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 600 grams. Trainer Mr. M P Mahaesh will be questioned.

HANDSOME SOLDIER (Ashok Kumar A) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

6^th Race: 237. The Leading Stud Trophy Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

Jockey T.S. Jodha replaced the indisposed Jockey A. Imran Khan on POWER OF TIME.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V to withdraw MICKEY MOUSE (Chetan Kalay S) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore. Trainer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (Vishwanath A) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

VALERIAN (Arshad Alam) & NOBLE AND NICE (Md. Shoaib) were slowly away.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ASSIDUOUS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MADAME BOVARY (Vinod Shinde) which had to be shifted by its rider thereby inconveniencing SHIVALIK FIRE (Anjar Alam) on its outside approaching the 700 Metres.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of SHIVALIK FIRE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

VALERIAN (Arshad Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

SECRET PUNCH (Sahanavaz) sustained a deep cut injury on left hind cannon.

7^th Race: 238. The Garuda Bangalore Juvenile Million (Grade III) – (About) 1400 Metres. 3 year old horses (Foaled in 2012) (5 Runners).

NEW PRINCE (Keanen G Steyn) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up and flipped over. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained cut injury on left fore cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8^th Race: 239. The Leading Stud Trophy Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey K. Chethana replaced the indisposed Jockey M. Noornabi on ACCURACY.

It was observed that ICE CUTTER (Nitin Singh) laid ‘in’ in the straight.

Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of ICE CUTTER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and bumping KING JULIEN (Arshad Alam) before passing the red marker post.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of SMITHSONITE, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres.

9^th Race: 240. The Leading Owner Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas to withdraw YELLOWZONE (G. Sai Vamshi) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Nityanand G to withdraw RAPID ADVANCE (T.S. Jodha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SUMMER GOLD (K Raja Rao) was slowly away.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of THE ARTIST, reported that his mount was not striding out from the 800 Metres till rounding the final bend thereafter lost its action completely. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s Veterinary officer it was reported after the last race at 6:15 p.m that it had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SON OF STARS (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

10^th Race: 241. The Leading Bookmaker Trophy-Div.II– (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for contravention of General Condition 5 of the Prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 in accepting his charge GAGAN STAR to run in the above race and also in the 3rd race on 13^th March 2015. Subsequently the horse was withdrawn from the above race.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay to withdraw SOMERSET ROSE (Sahanawaz) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed knee joint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

140. The Bharachukki Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SCHIAVONE, to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No.161(ii)]of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above said race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 6^th March 2015 and 14^th March 2015. They examined Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and Jockey P. Trevor. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi; and (b) that should Jockey P. Trevor apply for renewal of his licence, the same shall stand suspended from 16-5-2015 to 14-6-2015 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount SCHIAVONE [Rule No.161(ii)]of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above said race (permitted to ride work).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Chetan Kalay, the rider of MYSTICAL SHADOW, to the Stewards for the excessive use of whip (3^rd infringement during the meeting) [Rule No.166(a)] of the BTC Rules of Racing read with Calendar Notification under the heading “Use of Whip” in the above said race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 14^th March 2015. They examined Jockey S. Chetan Kalay. After deliberations, they decided that should Jockey S. Chetan Kalay apply for renewal of his licence, the same shall stand suspended from 16-5-2015 to 17-5-2015 (both days inclusive) for the excessive use of whip (3^rd infringement during the meeting) [Rule No.166(a)] of the BTC Rules of Racing read with Calendar Notification under the heading “Use of Whip” in the above said race (permitted to ride work).

217. The Tungabhadra Plate – Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of YELLOWZONE, to the Stewards for the improper use of whip [Rule No.166(a)] of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above said race in that he used his whip in an improper manner by striking his mount in anguish after passing the winning post. The Stewards held an enquiry on 14^th March 2015. They examined Jockey Arshad Alam. After deliberations, they decided (a) that should Jockey Arshad Alam apply for renewal of his licence, the same shall stand suspended from 16-5-2015 to 15-6-2015 (both days inclusive); (b) fine him a sum of Rs.30,000/- for the improper use of whip on his mount YELLOWZONE in the above said race(permitted to ride work) ; and (c) issue Jockey Arshad Alam a severe warning with regards to use of whip.

218. The Manasa Sarovara Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of SAGRADA, to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No.161(i)] of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above said race in that he allowed his mount to shift out near the 350 Metres which resulted in REANNA (T.S. Jodha) clipping the heels of his mount and thereby dislodging Jockey T.S. Jodha. The Stewards held an enquiry on 14^th March 2015. They examined Jockey S. Shiva Kumar and Jockey T.S. Jodha. After deliberations, they decided that (a) should Jockey S Shiva Kumar apply for renewal of his licence, the same shall stand suspended from 16-5-2015 to 17-5-2015 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding on his mount SAGRADA [Rule No. 161(i)] of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above said race (permitted to ride work) and (b) fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for careless riding on his mount SAGRADA.
