RACING INCIDENTS

                                          its original position.

 

1st Race:     206. The Gadag Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (8 Runners).

 

SOMERSET ROSE (Irvan Singh) began awkwardly.

 

It was reported after the race that JEWEL LADY (Adarsh G) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

GIFT OF LOVE (G. Sai Vamshi) stumbled between the 900 Metres and 800 Metres.

 

Near the 950 Metres RAAGA (Harish B) which was laying in tightened GIFT OF LOVE (G. Sai Vamshi) which was forced to check losing ground.

 

GIFT OF LOVE (G Sai Vamshi) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 500 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SHOOT OUT.

 

2nd Race:     207. The Belur Plate – Div.II (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).

 

At the start RESEMBLANCE (G. Sai Vamshi) jumped out bumping REPSOL (Nitin Singh).

 

Jockey Harish B, the rider of EVERYONE KNOWS ME, which began awkwardly, reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after the start which he regained approaching the 900 Metres.

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SELF AND BEYOND, reported that his mount was trying to run out between the 900 and 600 Metres.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. 

 

40 Metres from the winning post LITTLE MAN (Sahanawaz) shifted out tightening ADMIRAL MESSI (Vivek) on to SHINING ARMOR (Khurshad Alam).

 

EXEMPLAR (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c HEISENBERG. 

 

3rd Race:     208. The Gadag Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (8 Runners).

 

AMAZON BAY (Imran Chisty) dwelt losing some ground.

 

MOUNTAIN SPLENDOR (Anil J.H.) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 600 grams. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh will be called for an enquiry.

 

AMAZON BAY (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

VISTABELLA (S Shiva Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

It was reported after the 5th race at 4.25 p.m that MOUNTAIN SPLENDOR burst its blood vessels (endoscopy – grade III).  Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BELLA PINKY.

 

4th Race:    209. The Bhagamandala Plate – (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (5 Runners).

 

ROMEO (P.S. Chouhan) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders.  Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ANAROSA (David Allan) pulled hard in the early stages of the race.

5th Race:    210. The Stewards Trophy – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated  60 and above  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SHREWD MASTER, reported that whilst racing at the back of the field he was unable to see due to the kick back between 1000 Metres and the 500 Metres.

 

Near 900 Metres WEST SIDE STORY (Imran Chisty) steadied from AUSTIN (Suraj Narredu).

 

Near the 850 Metres WILL STAR (Ryan Marshall) steadied from MICKEY MOUSE (Chetan Kalay S) when racing tight.  Shortly after HENDRIX (P.S. Chouhan) shifted out bumping WILL STAR (Ryan Marshall).

 

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of NESTO, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

 

Jockey David Allan, the rider of SCARLET EMPEROR, when questioned stated that SCARLET EMPEROR was very disappointing even though the gelding did not appreciate the soft going.  He added that SCARLET EMPEROR had been working well.

 

SCARLET EMPEROR (David Allan) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported after the 7th race at 5.30 p.m that SCARLET EMPEROR had burst its blood vessels (endoscopy – grade IV).  Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

TOPSPOT (G. Sai Vamshi) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore coronet.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NESTO.   

 

6th Race:     211. The Devarayanadurga Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

 

Near the 1300 Metres GUTS AND GLORY (D. Gnaneshwar) steadied from AMANDA (V.R. Jagdeesh) which shifted in slightly near 1000 Metres GUTS AND GLORY (D. Gnaneshwar) eased out to avoid the heels of ZEESHAN (Irvan Singh) then raced wide until the 500 Metres.

 

Near the 900 Metres MUSICAL TREASURE (M. Kumar) checked from OCEAN PARK (Arshad Alam).

 

Jockey M. Kumar was dislodged from MUSICAL TREASURE near the 50 Metres due to his left stirrup leather becoming detached.  

 

Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of WHITE SNOWDROPS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

An enquiry is being held into the excessive use of whip by Jockey S Chetan Kalay on his mount MYSTICAL SHADOW in the above race (3rd infringement).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f AMANDA.

 

7th Race:     212. The Belur Plate – Div.I (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).

 

IRISH PRINCE (S. Mallikarjun) was slowly away.

 

Shortly after the start VEDA (R. Anand) shifted in sharply bumping the hind quarters of AGUSTINA (Imran Chisty).

 

Near the 900 Metres GOLDBERG (Arshad Alam) which was laying in, moved inwards causing ABLE FRIEND (Suraj Narredu) to ease, HAND OF FURY (Ashok Kumar A) which was racing behind also eased.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ABLE FRIEND, reported that his mount was trying to hang in when struck with the whip from the final 250 Metres of the race.

 

VEDA (R Anand) was inclined to hang ‘in’ in the straight.

 

OLE (P S Chouhan) sustained bleeding cut injury due to T.P bit on ventral aspect of tongue.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g GOLDBERG. 

8th Race:     213. The Ramanagar Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. for horses rated 00 to 25, who have run at least twice during Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 and not won a race anywhere after 1st November 2014 to be ridden by Indian Jockeys who have ridden during Bangalore Winter Meeting 2014-15 and not ridden a winner anywhere after 1st November 2014 (12 Runners).

 

REYNA (S. Babu) was slowly away.

 

Approaching the 100 Metres CARBONADO (Harish B) was eased as Jockey Harish felt that ORIENTAL BELLE (M.A. Roushan) was going to shift inwards and that CARBONADE was reluctant to take the run inside. ORIENTAL BELLE (M.A. Roushan) once given clear space on the outside CARBONADO (Harish B) commenced to stride out.

 

REYNA (S Babu) was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and both fore shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of both fore shoes was found to be 200 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b/br m ORIENTAL BELLE.
