1st Race:    113. The Gomos Plate Div.II – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (10 Runners).

 

It was reported after the race that INTERNAL AFFAIR (Shrikant Kamble) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade IV – at 6.15 p.m.).  Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ICEGLOW.

 

2nd Race:    114. The Splendid Role Plate Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (Whips not allowed)  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw THE PATRIOT on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sore shrine on both fore.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj  to substitute Jockey Rayan Marshall to ride RE LIVE  in place of the declared rider.

 

Jockey Rayan Ahmed R, the rider of MARIKO, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to COOL SPRINGS (Dashrat Singh)  which had to be checked and shifted out by its rider inconveniencing the horses on his outside viz. J GATSBY (Arshad Alam) and HAPPY HOURS (Janardhan Paswan) approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

RE LIVE (Rayal Marshall) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MARIKO.

 

3rd Race:    115. The January Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only at the time of starting  (9 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Irvan Singh to ride STRONG CONVICTION in place of the declared rider.

 

Jockey David Allan, the rider of IRON WILL, reported that his mount stumbled soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of WONDER WOMAN, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

 

STRONG CONVICTION (Irvan Singh) sustained cut injury on left hind fetlock.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ASTER ROSE.   

 

4th Race:    116. The Madhugiri Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over at the time of starting  (8 Runners).

 

As Jockey A.R. Pradeep was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Aravind G to substitute Jockey R. Marshall to ride  VIKTOR in place of the declared rider.

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw HECTOR on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SEVEN OF HEARTS, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of VIKTOR reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade IV – at 4.00 p.m.).  Trainer Mr. Aravind G was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. He was further informed that he must not accept with it again until his behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m LUCIA.

 

5th Race:    117. The Gomos Plate Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride DANCING JESSIE in place of the declared rider.

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr.  S. Dominic (deputizing for trainer Mr. S. Britto) to substitute Jockey Harish B to ride SUPER POWER in place of the declared rider.

 

It was observed that PEARL HARBOUR (Naveen M) was inclined to run out between the 600 Metres till about 400 Metres.

 

DANCING JESSIE (Vivek) walked out of the gates and ran detached from the field thereafter. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

 

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of NATIVE RULER, reported that his mount  may have hurt itself inside the gates as it was fractious and that he noticed visible bleeding approaching the 300 Metres as such he stopped riding his mount for his and the horse’s safety. Subsequently it was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that it had sustained a gum injury on lower jaw.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f BONFIRE.  

 

 

 

 

6th  Race:    118. The Bangalore Oaks (Grade II) – (About) 2400 Metres. 4 years old Indian Fillies (Foaled in 2012)  (8 Runners).

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SHOW BIZ, reported that his mount was hanging out from 1600 Metres till 600 Metres whereby his mount shifted out and inconvenienced VERBIER (P.S. Chouhan) passing the 600 Metres and he also added that his mount stopped galloping after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III at 4.55 p.m.).  Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Sait was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

7th  Race:    119. The New Year Cup (GRADE III)  – (About) 1400 Metres. 4 years old and over at the time of starting (6 Runners).

8th Race:    120. The Splendid Role Plate Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (Whips not allowed)  (12 Runners).

 

CONQUISTADOR (Antony Raj S) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f AMBLESIDE.

                       

9th Race:    121. The Malpee Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Irvan Singh to ride CZAR RULE in place of the declared rider.

 

CHERIE AMOUR (P. Trevor) was squeezed between AMAZING DESIRE (Vinod Shinde) (drawn 1) and SOVIET UNION (Dashrat Singh) (drawn 3) at the start.

 

Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of HELIOS, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

 

CHERIE AMOUR (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
