Rail position                 :      Railing fixed at average width of 8 Metres from
                                           1600 Metres to the winning post from its
                                           original position.

 

1st Race:    88. The Amathos Plate – Div.III - (About) 1200 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 20 to 45  (12 Runners).

STAR OF THE TRACK (A. Velu) planted.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

SWAKSHA (Chetan Kalay S) was slowly away and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race. 

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of RARE AND FAMOUS, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of SWAKSHA, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of AMBLESIDE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to RARE AND FAMOUS (V.R. Jagadeesh) and TIME SQUARE (Vivek) which was travelling  directly behind also had to be checked by its  rider approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of RARE AND FAMOUS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for dropping hands before passing the winning post whereby he possibly lost the 2nd place.

2nd Race:    89. The Gulbarga Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25  (12 Runners).

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of LUC DIVINE, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing AGUANTE (Surya P) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Manesh K, the rider of ARYAN KNIGHT, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing WINDAMARE (Rayan Ahmed R) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

FLYING BULLET (D. Patel) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

BIG COPPER PENNY (V.R. Jagadeesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of FLYING BULLET trained by Mr. B. Prithviraj and ridden by Jockey D. Patel.

3rd Race :    90. The Sharavanabelagola Plate Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

COOL APPROACH (Mudassar Nazar) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

It was reported after the race that CLICK (Nazerul Alam) pulled up lame on right fore.  Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.  

When questioned about the running of FORCE ENSIGN, trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 3rd/4th/5th and do his best in the straight.  He opined that if he could have sat in better position it would have benefited his horse.  However the way the race was run he did not take any exception to his riding. The jockey stated that his mount did not have early speed as such he could not adhere to the riding instructions. He also added that he was caught behind a wall of horses from the 1200 Metres till about 500 Metres, that may be the reason he could not cover the extra two lengths and that he would suggest his trainer to use a pair of blinkers on his charge in future.

4th  Race:    91. The Chickmagalur Nirvanappa Shetty Nanjamma TMP Cup – (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).

Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of WHAT A WONDER, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that SILVER LEGEND (S. John) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

HECTOR (M. Prabhakaran) shifted in and caused severe interference to MARINE ONE (A. Imran Khan) and SILVER LEGEND (S. John) which was travelling directly behind clipped the heels of MARINE ONE (A. Imran Khan) passing the final 150 Metres.  An enquiry is being held into the incident.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f WHAT A WONDER.

5th Race:    92. The Amathos Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 20 to 45  (11 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SIR MAJESTIC, reported that passing 200 Metres Jockey S. John struck his whip as such he lost his whip. No action was taken beyond noting the incident as it was accidental.

ABLE MASTER (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c INTEGRATED.

 

6th Race:    93. The Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Memorial Trophy  – (About) 1400 Metres (12 Runners).

Jockey Rayan Ahmed R, the rider of MICKEY MOUSE, reported that passing 300 Meters his saddle shifted back, as such he removed his right leg from the stirrup subsequently he removed his left leg from the left stirrup thereby totally unbalancing him and therefore he could not offer much assistance thereafter.  After due examination of the equipment trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was fined Rs.10,000/- for faulty saddling.

It was observed that SPEED HAWK (Prashant P.Dhebe) blundered passing 900 Metres.

KING JULIEN (Irvan Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that SPEED HAWK (Prashant P.Dhebe) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SPEED HAWK (Prashant P. Dhebe) sustained deep cut injury on left fore hoof (coronet).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m JACKIE OH.

7th Race:    94. The Amathos Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Handicap for Horses rated 20 to 45  (12 Runners).

SIXTH SENSE (A. Ramu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced JERSY WONDER (Vivek) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of SIXTH SENSE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ALL THAT’S NICE (G. Sai Vamshi) on his outside which went on to GOLDEN FRIEND (D. Patel) passing the 1100 Metres.

SEA OF STARS (S. Mallikarjun) ran detached from the field.  Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of JERSEY WONDER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to SANTE FE (Rayan Ahmed R) and further shifted out and caused interference to DIGNIFIED (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) in the final 150 Metres.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of JERSEY WONDER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ONE BIG GANG.

8th Race :    95. The Sharavanabelagola Plate Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (7 Runners).

Jockey Y.S. Srinath was fined Rs.2,000/- for accepting two rides in the above race. Subsequently permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to declare Jockey Y.S. Srinath to ride AMAZING DESIRE in the above race.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to declare Jockey Ahsan Qureshi to ride ABSOLUTE RED in the above race.

SECRET PRAYER (A. Ashok Kumar) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to have splayed its left fore shoe which was removed. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
