RACING INCIDENTS

(53 - 61)

Penetrometer Reading: 4.1 Cms.

 

Railing Position: Railing fixed at average width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:     53. The  Kentucky Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (10 Runners).

INTERNAL AFFAIR (Shrikant Kamble) and SHIVALIK GIRL (C. Henrique) were slowly away.

AMALFI COAST (A. Ramu) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced INDIAN FURY (V.R. Jagadeesh) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of INDIAN FURY, reported that his mount was running green in the straight.

It was reported after the race that AMORATE (D.K. Ashish) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ANGELIC LOVE (D. Patel) was inclined to lay out from 900 Metres until approaching the 500 Metres.

Jockey A Ramu, the rider of AMALFI COAST, was reprimanded for the inept handling on his mount in the final 200 Metres. 

OLE (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji and Jockey P.S. Chouhan were questioned over the disappointing performance of OLE. Jockey P.S. Chouhan stated that the gelding had travelled well until when called upon for an effort when challenged after leading as instructed.  He said he thought the gelding may have choked down.  Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji said that OLE had a tie back operation nearly two months ago which was expected to improve the gelding but it appears that the gelding has not improved. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination.  On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – 3.00 p.m.) Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g OLE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f FRIZBEE.

2nd Race:     54. The Planetarium Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (12 Runners).

RED ADMIRAL (R. Praveen Shinde) was slowly away.

Near the 1100 Metres PASSION FLORA (Ryan Marshall) eased off the heels of VICTORY GIRL (A. Ramu).

GOLDEN DIAMOND (Shrikant Kamble) steadied off the heals of VITO (Manesh K) approaching the 1100 Metres.

GOLDEN DIAMOND (Shrikant Kamble) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PASSION FLORA.  

3rd Race:      55. The Antaragange Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge KIMORA. Subsequently ‘All Black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.

ACEEMPRESSJESSIE (Imran Chisty) was slowly away losing a few lengths.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of RUBI REY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of BROWN PANTHER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ACEEMPRESSJESSIE, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that GO GREEN (A. Imran Khan) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m RUBI REY.

4th Race:     56. The  Kentucky Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Terms) (9 Runners).

AMAZING KHODAL (Janardhan Paswan) was extremely fractious, reared up and fell  before the race at the starting gates.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ASPASIA (Ashok Kumar A) drifted out when struck with the whip in the final 100 Metres of the race.  

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner  ch f DUBAI ONE.

5th Race:     57. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Aravind G to withdraw SHARP WITTED on compassionate grounds.

SALINA (Rayan Ahmed R) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards on the starting gate practice.  

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f FELICIANA.   

 

 

6th Race:    58. The Kalinadi Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Faraz was fined Rs.5,000/- for the delayed submission of scratching in respect of his charge ACE ANGELFIRE in the above race.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw SHINNECOCK HILLS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran was fined Rs.1,000/- for allowing his mount YELLOWZONE  to drift out and bump ABSOLUTE RED (Syed Iman) on his outside approaching the 100 Metres.

It was reported after the race that PRICELESS ACE (David Allan) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that AMAZING DESIRE (Ryan Marshall) lost its right hind shoe during the race.

Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda questioned as regards the improved performance of his charge WINGS OF FORTUNE as compared to its previous run in Race No.48 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2015-16 where he ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) in its previous start his charge had received severe interference near the 1100 Metres; (b) his charge may have improved from its previous start as the horses lacked track work during the early part of the season due to rain; (c) he had fancied his horse to run in place in its previous start and even in this race. His explanations were noted for future.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h WINGS OF FORTUNE.

7th Race:   59. The Hyderabad Silver Vase – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (6 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw BOLD MAJESTY on compassionate grounds.

EQUINE LOVE (S. Zervan) laid in near 1200 Metres and inconvenienced BOOKER JONES (Suraj Narredu) on his inside.

It was reported after the race that EQUINE LOVE (S. Zervan) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BOOKER JONES.

8th Race:    60. The Kalinadi Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

OPTIMISTIC (B.L. Paswan) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour trainer Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards on the starting gate practice.  

CLICK (Nazerul Alam) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced HILLSBORO (Syed Imran) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Shortly after the start PRAZSKY (Rayan Ahmed) was eased off the heels of ACCURACY (D.K. Ashish).

It was observed that ACCURACY (D.K. Ashish) could not get a clear run in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m COOL BABY.

9th Race:      61. The Dharwar Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

HANDSOME SOLDIER (Chetan Kalay S),  AMBLESIDE (P.S. Chouhan) and AAYAN (A.R. Pradeep) were slowly away.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of AAYAN, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing KHALEESI (Adarsh G) passing the 700 Metres.

It was reported after the race that SIXTH SENSE (Vivek) had lost its left fore shoe during the race.

NATIVE RULER (Afsar Khan) sustained cut injury on right fore pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c TOPAZ.
