False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 6 Meters from 1600 Meters to the winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 126. The Ullal Beach Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20(9 Runners).
SIMPLE SUM (Cedric Segeon) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behavior, Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey T. S. Jodha, the rider of GRANADA reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight thereby inconveniencing NOBLE PRINCESS (Arshad Alam) passing the 100 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of EXTREMELYDANGEROUS reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight thereby inconveniencing KAROD PATI (Y.S. Srinath) in the final 50 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

2nd Race: 127. The Vibrant Plate - Div. II - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (12 Runners).
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the declared rider of AMALFI COAST was fined a sum of Rs.2,000/- for failing to make the declared weight. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to permit Jockey M. Prabhakaran to ride AMALFI COAST in place of declared rider.
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic and Jockey Y.S. Srinath were questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge MISTRESS OF SPICE in the above race. The Trainer stated that:
(a) he had asked the rider to ride from a forward position.
(b) his charge had worked very well in the morning track work.
(c) his only concern was that the blinkers may have not suited his charge and he prefers to run the horse without blinkers next time.
(d) he cannot attribute any other reasons for the horse to perform in this manner.
The Jockey stated that his mount was sluggish at the start thereby losing a few lengths and thereafter he rode out but could only finish in the mid bunch.
Their explanations were noted for future reference and also the horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f A HEARTTOREMEMBER.
3rd Race: 128. The Haveri Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50 (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for not using Cross Nose Band on his charge INTREPID WARRIOR (Prashant P.Dhebe) after having obtained prior permission for the same. Subsequently Cross Nose Band was put on before the horse left the paddock.
Jockey Cedric Segeon, the rider of CADILLAC SKY reported that his mount after jumping out was sluggish for the first 200 Meters of the race.
It was observed that INTREPID WARRIOR (Prashant P.Dhebe) accidently struck the front runner CARINOSA (Arshad Alam) and stumbled unbalancing the rider approaching 1400 Meters. Subsequently, it was observed that CARINOSA (Arshad Alam) sustained right hind tendon injury and pulled up lame and did not complete the course. Trainer Mr. Nityanand G. was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that INTREPID WARRIOR (Prashant P. Dhebe) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

4th Race: 129. The Shivanasamudra Cup - (About) 1800 Meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (11 Runners).
EL FENIX (Irvan Singh) planted and lost many lengths. Trainer Mr. Darius R. Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of HECTOR reported that his saddle had shifted forward passing the 1600 Meters. As such he could not offer any assistance thereafter. After due examination of the equipment Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of BACK OF BEYOND reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
It was observed that SHE’S STUNNING (Darshan R.N) brushed the false rails passing the 400 Meters due to closely packed field.
Trainer Mr. Arjun Manglorkar was questioned regarding the inconsistent performance of his charge MYSTIC MUSIC (S. John) in comparison to the previous run in Race No. 59 The Hoysala Trophy (Div-II) run on 2nd December, 2016 where the horse finished down the field. The Trainer stated that:
(a) In his opinion he felt that his charge did not relish the going in the previous outing.
(b) In its previous outings at Mysore the horse had won and run second but only in the first outing at Bangalore it had a bad race mainly due to the going.
His explanations were noted for future reference.
SHE’S STUNNING (Darshan R.N) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have suffered Epiglottic Entrapment. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 130. The Karnataka Racehorse Owners' Association Million - (About) 1200 Meters. 3-year-old Horses (Foaled in 2014)(Terms) (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw SPOT LIGHT on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey T.S. Jodha without his prior consent. Subsequently permission was granted to him to declare Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh to ride KING'S SON.
APACHE SUNRISE (David Allan) was extremely fractious, reared up and flipped over in the gate. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
LAND OF LIBERTY (Arshad Alam) jumped awkwardly outward inconveniencing KING’S SON (V.R. Jagadeesh) and HABANERO (P. Trevor) on his outside.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of COUNTRY'S TREASURE reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
KING’S SON (V.R. Jagadeesh) was observed to be hanging ‘in’ in the final 200 Meters of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6th Race: 131. The Mercara Plate - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
YELLOWZONE (Arshad Alam) planted and lost many lengths. Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of SOVIET UNION reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Vishwanath A, the rider of RAIN KISSED reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
MASSIVE DYNAMICS (Y.S. Srinath) shifted 'in' and caused interference to J GATSBY (M. Mark) which in turn passed it onto MANTA RAY (Rayan Ahmed R.) approaching 300 Meters. An enquiry is being held into the incident.
Jockey Prashant P.Dhebe, the rider of SECRET PRAYER was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to NOBLE SAPPHIRE (Vinod Shinde) on his outside approaching 250 Meters.

7th Race: 132. The Flashing Star Plate - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey P. Surya replaced the indisposed Antony Raj. S on TREE LOUNGE.
WHITE SNOWDROPS (K. Raja Rao) jumped awkwardly outward and inconvenienced MOHER (Arshad Alam) soon after the start.
Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of FIRING LINE was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to ATTRACTIVE BAY (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) before passing the red marker post.

8th Race: 133. The Vibrant Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.F. Sirajuddin to withdraw THUNDERSQUALL on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ROARING THUNDER (P. Trevor) planted and lost many lengths. Trainer Mr.S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Md Hesnain, the rider of NOBLE EMPEROR ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was advised to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
It was observed that A WORD TO REMEMBER (Syed Imran) was hanging out after entering the straight and travelled wide. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
