1st Race: 152. The Talakaveri Plate - Div. II - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (Whips not allowed)(10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. to withdraw FLYING BULLET on veterinary grounds as it was found to have suffering from colic .He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S Imran, the rider of GODDESS OF LOVE was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SCORCHING (Rayan Ahmed .R) on his outside soon after the start.
ASTRAL SPIRIT (Darshan R.N) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
MOHER (Vinod Shinde) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Azhar Ali was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Naveen M, the rider of PERFECT QUEEN was fined Rs.5,000/- for completely easing up his mount before passing the winning post. He was cautioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar that he should desist from this undesirable practice and that a repetition of a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
Jockey R. Praveen Shinde, the rider of RED ADMIRAL was fined Rs.1,000/- for hitting the horse with his hand passing the 100 Meters.
GODDESS OF LOVE (S Imran) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

2nd Race: 153. The Forever Elegance Plate - (About) 1800 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (5 Runners).
WINSOMENESS (P. S. Chouhan) reared up and flipped over while being loaded into the starting gates and was found to have sustained concussion on back. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr.Aravind. G was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPER SMART.
3rd Race: 154. The Lalitmahal Plate - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prithviraj. B to withdraw REGAL MUSIC on veterinary grounds as it was found to have inflamed tendon on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey A. Velu replaced the indisposed M. Kumar on KUDLA PUNCH.
KUDLA PUNCH (A. Velu) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of SLIGHTLY BLONDE was fined Rs.3,000/- for hitting the horse with the reins on either sides of the neck of the horse in the final 250 Meters.
Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of APOLLO CREED reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race and ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Ramesh Kumar N, the rider of MISS WONDER was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Jockey Naveen M., the rider of A CROWN was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
DONTWORRYMONDAY (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

4th Race: 155. The Smt. Saraswati Sajnani Memorial Trophy - (About) 2000 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50 (6 Runners).
Jockey Rayan Ahmed R, the rider of AMAZING SKILL was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz; CADILLAC SKY (S. John) and FIORENZO (Suraj Narredu) before passing the red marker post.

5th Race: 156. The Racing Patrons Trophy - Div. I - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of HILLSBORO stopped galloping in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary officer it was found to be lame on right fore, sustained superficial injury on right fore bulb and splayed right fore shoe. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Praveen Shinde, the rider of TAQDEER KA BADSHAH was fined Rs.3,000/- for completely easing up his mount in the final 150 Meters of the race.
Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda. V was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (Praveen Shinde) in the above race (1st infringement).
TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (Praveen Shinde) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6th Race: 157. The Bharachukki Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey Keanen G Steyn, the rider of HOSTESS was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SECRET DIMENSION (Arshad Alam) on his inside passing the 1400 Meters.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of EMPERADOR was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing EMIDIO (Prashant P.Dhebe) on his inside passing the 1000 Meters, RACING FIRE (P.S. Chouhan) which was directly behind also had to be steadied by its rider.
Jockey Keanen G Steyn, the rider of HOSTESS was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to RARE RHYTHM (A. Imran Khan) on his inside passing the 350 Meters.
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of RARE RHYTHM was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the winning post.

7th Race: 158. The Racing Patrons Trophy - Div. II - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of SIR MAJESTIC had to steady his mount, to avoid colliding with the front runners between the 900 Meters to 800 Meters.
AYRTON (Antony Raj S.) after jumping out swerved towards the right thereby lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behavior, Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
It was reported after the race that LORD DARLINGTON (Imran Chisty) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of ONE MAN SHOW was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing EL MATADOR (K. Mukesh Kumar) on his inside passing the 1000 Meters.
Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of CULLINAN was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing IRISH PRINCE (M. Naveen) passing the 250 Meters.
CULLINAN (Darshan.R.N) sustained superficial injury on left hind fetlock.
SURNATUREAL (Sahanawaz) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
EL MATADOR (K. Mukesh Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

142. The Dashmesh Stud Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 45 to 65, 5 years old and over (Whips not allowed)
An enquiry was held on 23rd January, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Nazerul Alam on his mount AMBLESIDE in that after travelling for about 100 Meters from the start he checked his mount and shifted in causing severe interference to VIRAT (Irvan Singh).
Jockey Nazerul Alam was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Nazerul Alam and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Nazerul Alam for careless riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey Nazerul Alam with effect from 3rd February 2017 upto 10th February, 2017 as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for careless riding on his mount AMBLESIDE (he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
