RACING INCIDENTS

Penetrometer Reading: 3.9 Cms

 

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 2.0 Meters from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:  25. The Silicon Valley Plate (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 Years old and over (12 Runners).

AZURE MIST (Nazerul Alam) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced GRANADA (Rayan Ahmed R.) at the start.

Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan, the rider of MOHER, reported his mount was wobbling in the final stage of race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III). Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

WAY WE WERE (Y.S. Srinath) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade II). Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from ch f WAY WE WERE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr m WHITE SNOWDROPS.

2nd Race:  26. The Beginners Plate - (About) 1100 Meters. Maiden Horses 2 years old only (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Prithviraj. B was fined Rs.1, 000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge LYCURGUS. Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of PHOENIX FALCON was reprimanded for coming in sharply and cutting across the field before passing the red marker post.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PHOENIX FALCON.

 

3rd Race:   27. The Kokkarebellur Plate – (About) 1400  Metres. Maiden Horses 3 Years old only (12 Runners).

TOROROSSO (Anjar Alam) jumped awkwardly inward and inconvenienced SATINETTE (P. Trevor) at the start.

BEYOND REACH (S. John) jumped awkwardly outwards.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of TOROROSSO was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing LIGHTNING ATTACK (A. Sandesh) and MISTRESS OF SPICE (PrashantP.Dhebe) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider passing the 700 Metres.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of TOROROSSO was fined Rs.1000/- for coming in and causing interference to CELTIC MIST (Rayan Ahmed R.)  passing the 200 Metres.

LAMREI (Y. S. Srinath) stood flat footed and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sandhu G was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary stewards in atleast one Mock Race.

 Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SATINETTE reported that he could not see anything during the early part of the race due to the Kick Back. However, when he got a opening in the straight he rode out his mount but could only finish a fifth.

It was reported after the race that LIKEAKNIFE (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda .V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MAGISTERO.

 

4th Race:   28. The Bellary Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (5 Runners).

SUMMER STAR (PrashantP.Dhebe) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah (deputizing for Mr. Amit Caddy) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Aravind. G was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge WINSOMENESS. Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of TROJAN was fined Rs.3000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race(first infringement).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LOVE IS LIFE.

 

 

5th Race: 29. The Adichunchanagiri Plate Div-I (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (12 Runners).

AFRICAN EMPEROR (Ryan Marshall) reared up as the gates opened and dislodged its rider soon after the start.

It was observed that PERFECT KING (Naveen M.)  was struck by the horse which was travelling behind i.e., WINGS OF FORTUNE (Raghu K) which shied from the rail dislodging its rider passing 700 Metres, which resulted in RAW GOLD (T.S. Jodha) and SALAZAAR (P. Trevor) being inconvenienced. As it was accidental no action was taken beyond noting the incident.

It was observed that the riderless horse AFRICAN EMPEROR continuously inconvenienced GOLDEN BOW (Y. S. Srinath) in the final 150 Metres of the race, due to which GOLDEN BOW (Y. S. Srinath) had to be shifted out by its rider resulting in interference to CADILLAC SKY (Cedric Segeon) and SALAZAAR (P. Trevor) on its outside in the final 50 Metres of the race. As it was accidental no action was taken beyond noting the incident.

GOLDEN BOW (Y. S. Srinath) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III). Trainer Mr. Prithviraj. B was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey G. Adarsh, the rider of TOPAZ reported that his reins got entangled in the final stages of the race.

TOPAZ (Adarsh G) was injured on right hind outer bulb.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch r SALAZAAR.

 

6th Race:  30. The Talkad Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65 (7 Runners).

 

PRIZE FINDER (Darshan R.N) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of THOMAS MORE, reported that he could not get a clear run in the final 100 Metres due to closely packed field.

It was reported after the race that SANG ROYAL (David Allan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Padamanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c PALLAS.

 

 

 

7th Race: 31. The Kabini Cup (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).

Jockey Anthony Raj. S the declared rider on AYRTON was fined Rs.2000/- for not drawing the declared weight on the scales. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to declare Jockey Syed Imran to ride AYRTON in place of the declared rider.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SIOBHAN reported that his mount raced very keenly between the 1200 till about 700 Metres as such he had to ride in check.

EMIDIO (PrashantP.Dhebe) sustained gum injury.

VIRAT (Kiran Rai.P) sustained superficial injury to left hind tendon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BATTALION.

8th Race: 32. The Beloved Prince Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over, to be ridden by Indian Jockeys claiming allowance (Whips not allowed) (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.2,000/- for violating the condition of the race whereby he had declared a Jockey who was not eligible to claim allowance. Subsequently permission was granted to him to declare Jockey Raghu.K (claiming allowance) to ride COOL SPRINGS.

 

Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.2,000/- for violating the condition of the race whereby he had declared a Jockey who was not eligible to claim allowance. Subsequently permission was granted to him to declare Jockey R. Manjunath (claiming allowance) to ride TAKECOVER.

 

SCORCHING (Rayan Ahmed R) was reprimanded for shifting in sharply soon after jumping out.

It was reported after the race that BRUNALDO (Syed Imran) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LUC DIVINE.

9th Race: 33. The Adichunchanagiri Plate Div-II (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (12 Runners).

 

STRONG CONVICTION (M. Prabhakaran) jumped awkwardly outward and inconvenienced FLICKA (Ashok Kumar.A) at the start.

 

SECRET PURSUIT (David Allan) was slowly away. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S. Padamanabhan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

DEL PORTO (S. Selvaraj) was observed to be running detached till the last 400 Metres. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was advised to ensure the horse runs with the field in its future outings.

 

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of HANDSOME STASH was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ERSTKLASSIG ( Suraj Narredu) and RECZAI (Ramesh Kumar N)on his outside rounding the final bend.

 

Jockey Ramesh Kumar N., the rider of RECZAI was severely reprimanded for shifting out about 5 to 6 wide under the use of whip in the last 250 Metres of the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g HANDSOME STASH.
