RACING INCIDENTS
(43– 51)
False Rails: Railing fixed at its original position.
1st Race: 43. The Swarnamuki Plate DIV – II (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw AMALFI COAST on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ALL BY MYSELF (Girish R.) took a fly jump.
Jockey Jan'dhan Paswan, the rider of WIND STRIKER reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Trainer Mr. Nityanand G. reported that he observed that his charge MOON BLINK (Arshad Alam) had taken its tongue above the bit immediately after the race. His observation was noted for future reference.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of PERFECT PRINCE reported that his mount did not show early speed and thereafter from about 400 Metres when it started galloping it had its head down all through making it difficult to ride out the horse. His explanations were noted for future reference.
The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed to take remedial measures in future and ensure the horse gallops without any problems.
It was reported after the race that INDIAN FURY (Nitin Singh) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f COUNTRY'S BLOOM.
2nd Race: 44. The Honnavar Plate - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20(10 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.10,000/- for having accepting his charge DANCING PRINCESS (P. S. Chouhan) to run in the above race when the owner was in B.T.F ban. Subsequently permission was granted to him to withdraw it from the above race.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ISLAND PEARL reported that his mount was haning 'in' as such he inconvenienced CHURCHILL (Rayan Ahmed R.) passing 1000 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ROARING THUNDER was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to ISLAND PEARL (Arshad Alam) which in turn passed it onto the horses on his inside viz; SHOOT OUT (A. Sandesh) and RICHIE RICH (Nitin Singh) .
SUDHA (Irvan Singh) planted and lost many lengths. In view of its behavior, Trainer Mr.V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accepting with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary stewards atleast one Mock Race.
SHIVALIK BOY (V.R.Jagadeesh) reported that he could not get a clear run between the 400 till 300 Metres due to the crowing of the field.
SHOOT OUT (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 45. The Udupi Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali and Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan were fined Rs.2000/- each for the injudicious running and riding of the MONTENEGRO (Jan’dhan Paswan) in the above race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BALIAN.
4th Race: 46. The Swarnamukhi Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
SIDI BAMBA (M. Mark) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Adarsh G, the rider of BELLA PINKY was observed to have jumped out very awkwardly from the gates. In view of the above, Jockey was severely reprimanded for hanging on to the horse and not giving it sufficient rein at the start. He was also informed that a repetition of the same shall attract a severe penalty.
It was observed that ROCK STEADY (D. Patel) was running out violently from 800 Metres till about 500 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr.S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Shiva Kumar S, the rider of MYSTICAL SHADOW was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f INTER FLORA.
5th Race: 47. The Mount Joy Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SAGRADA reported that he was asked to ride from a mid position but as his mount was not galloping freely, he could not obtain the favorable position as told to him by the trainer despite his urging. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed to take remedial measures in future running of this horse.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SECRET DIMENSION reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPREME DOMINATOR.
6th Race: 48. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup DIV - I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (11 Runners).
Jockey Chethan Gowda, the rider of PRAZSKY was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to CAMPARI GIRL (S. John) which in turn passed it onto LIGHTNING STRIKES (A. Sandesh) before passing the red market post.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of TZAR was fined Rs.10,000/- for causing interference to the horses on his inside viz; ROMANTIC HELEN (Suraj Narredu) and SUMMERHILL (P. Trevor) between the 400 Metres till about 300 Metres when he was well aware that he was not clear of the horses on his inside.
SUMMERHHILL (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination as the horse dropped back in the final stage of the race, but no abnormality was reported.
IRON WILL (David Allan) sustained superficial injury on right hock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TZAR.
7th Race: 49. The Bangalore 1000 Guineas (Grade II) - (About) 1600 Meters. 3-year-old Indian Fillies (Foaled in 2013) (8 Runners).
Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

Trainer Mr.Bipin V. Salvi was fined Rs.10,000/- for failing to declare his charge PRECIOUS ASSET to run in the above race after having accept with it.
8th Race: 50. The Huthari Festival Plate - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
AQUA BLESSING (Shiva Kumar S.) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starters order. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was observed that PERFECT QUEEN (M. Kumar) dropped hands passing the 200 Metres. Jockey M. Kumar was severely reprimanded for the same.
It was reported after the race that WINTER BLOOM (Nitin Singh) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BOYSTEROUS.
9th Race: 51. The T.B. Hanumantharaj Memorial Cup - Div. II - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50(12 Runners).
Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of TIMES TIME reported that his mount hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported a cap on the left upper premolar. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was advised to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of INDUSTRIALIST was fined Rs.2000/- for coming in and causing interference to the horses viz; JAMES BOND (Nitin Singh)and GAME GUY(K. Raja Rao)approaching 1000 Metres.
FLOTUS (B. Harish) and JAMES BOND (Nitin Singh) were observed to have drifted out wide in the straight. Jockeys B. Harish and Nitin Singh were severely reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course.
Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of FRACTALS reported that he lost his whip passing the 400 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of KAPALUA was fined Rs.1000/- for coming in and causing interference to FRACTALS (A.R.Pradeep) in the final 50 Metres of the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f INTERESTING.
