RACING INCIDENTS

(1– 8)

Going : Good    

         

Penetrometer Reading : 4.2 cms

 

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 8.0 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:  1. The November Plate  DIV -II  (About) 1100 Meters. Maiden horses 3 Years old only(11 Runners).

It was observed that BLESSED ONE (Shobhan Babu) splayed its left hind shoe in the paddock as it was very fractious and playing up. However, it was reshod before going to the gates.

ZAFRAN (P.Trevor) jumped awkwardly outward and inconvenienced LIKEAKNIFE (Irvan Singh) at the start.

REGAL MUSIC (PrashantP.Dhebe) accidently stumbled approaching 600 Meters.

Jockey (Irvan Singh), the rider of LIKEAKNIFE, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

It was reported after the race that REGAL MUSIC (Prashant.P.Dhebe) had apparently lost its right hind shoe during the race.

MOON BLINK (Arshad Alam) had sustained superficial injury on left hind pastern.

It was observed that REGENCY GIRL (M.D. Praveen) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in the future.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f SIYOUNI.

2nd Race:   2. The Dandeli Plate - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (Whips not allowed)

(9 Runners).

 

Jockey Cedric Segeon, the rider of LUC DIVINE, was reprimanded for tapping his horse with his hands passing the 300 Meters, when this race was specifically a no whip race.

 

Trainer Mr.B.Prithivraj and Jockey Prashanth T.M. were questioned regarding the running and riding of FLYING BULLET. The Trainer stated that he felt the Jockey had rushed the horse initially and the horse was up in the front whilst he was instructed to sit third/fourth along the rails. The Trainer opined that this could be the reason the horse suddenly fell back in the last 200 Metres. The Jockey was severely reprimanded for not following the instructions and their explanations were noted for future reference.

3rd Race: 3. The Chickballapur Plate - (About) 1600 Meters.Horses rated 30 to 50 (9 Runners).

MAGISTERO (Prashant.P.Dhebe) accidently brushed the false rails passing the 1400 Metres.

Jockey (Vivek), the rider of GALINO, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconvenienced MAGISTERO (PrashantP.Dhebe) approaching 1200 Metres.

MAGISTERO (PrashantP.Dhebe) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f WATCHMYSCRIPT.

 

 

4th  Race : 4.  The Sarb-Kla Plate - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (9 Runners).

BLACK LIGHTNING (S.K.Paswan) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

CELTIC MIST (S. Guruprasad) was extremely fractious in the stalls, reared up and sat down for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SZABLE, reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing MIDNIGHT SKY (Tauseef Ahmed) soon after the start.

It was observed that SAFFRON INTENSE (Kiran Rai P) could not get a clear run approaching 200 Meters due to a closely packed field.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of PERFECT PRINCE, reported that his mount was continuously putting its head down in the race, more so in the final stages of  the race where, it was very difficult to hold on to the horse.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SZABLE.

 

5th  Race : 5. The Garden City Trophy  DIV -I  (About) 1200 Meters.Horses 45 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

 

LIFE AWAITS (Y.S. Srinath) jumped out of the gates without the rider, on questioning the rider stated that the start was given without him being ready at the gates.

 

A Stewards enquiry was held immediately after the race and after a detailed enquiry with the Starters and Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards decided to declare Horse No.3 LIFE AWAITS a non starter and all bets related to this horse was refunded. An enquiry has been initiated into the start of the race.

 

Jockey Cedric Segeon, the rider of MAGICAL LIGHT, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

It was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that on examination after the last race at 5:15 p.m. that MADAM SULTANA (Vinod Shinde) was found to be lame on left fore. On subsequent examination (Radiography) it was found to have sustained fracture of left fore lateral sessamoid bone. Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DOWNTON ABBEY.

 

 

6th Race  :  6. The Rajyotsava Trophy (Grade III) - (About) 1400 Meters. 3 years old and over (Terms)(10 Runners).

 

SMILESTONE (V.R. Jagadeesh) jumped out awkwardly.

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

It was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that examination on 5th November 2016 at 8:15 a.m. that AURIGA (Cedric Segeon) was found to have inflamed right fore fetlock. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

7th  Race :  7. The Garden City Trophy  DIV -II  (About) 1200 Meters .Horses rated 45 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

SOVIET UNION (Kiran Rai P) jumped awkwardly inward and inconvenienced MARIKO (Darshan R.N) at the start.

Jockey Rayan Ahmed.R, the rider of ONE BIG GANG, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of AKHA TEEJ, reported that his horse was not galloping fluently. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m MILLROSE.

 

 

 

 

 

8th  Race : 8. The November Plate DIV - I  (About) 1100 Meters.Maiden Horses  3 years old only (12 Runners). 

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of ZAFRINA, was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing RED GALILEO (A. Imran Khan) on his inside approaching 300 Meters.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of FILMSCRIPT, reported that his mount was not striding out well during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to be lame on left hind. Trainer R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

CHLOE (P. Trevor) sustained gum injuries.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ROMANTIC HELEN.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. Amit Caddy who was unable to attend the races.
