False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 4.5 Meters from 1600 Meters to 1000 Meters, 5.5 Meters from 1000 Meters to 500 Meters and 4.5 Meters from 500 Meters to the winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 176. The Gumbaz Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
In a closely packed field EARLY BIRD (Imran Chisty) had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runners as it got keen, due to which his saddle shifted over the withers passing the 1200 Meters. As it was accidental, no action was taken beyond noting the incident.
Jockey K. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of FINE BARRISTOR was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to HAPPY DANCING (Naveen M.) on his inside passing the 150 Meters.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BUSCADERO.
2nd Race: 177. The Tiptur Plate - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan to withdraw KINGS KID (A. Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be injured on left shoulder and left hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SIMPLE SUM (V.R.Jagadeesh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
SUPER GLOW (Prashant P.Dhebe) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Rayan Ahmed R., the rider of ANGELIC LOVE reported that he could not get a clear run between 1400 Meters and 1200 Meters due to a closely packed field and as such he had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runners.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of CLAIRE reported that his mount was hanging 'in' rounding the bend and in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have single tooth cap on left side and lost its right hind shoe. However, Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of CAMPFIRE reported that his mount drifted out rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriate corrective measure before accepting with it again.
Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of SIMPLE SUM reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Sahanawaz, the rider of WINSOMENESS was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount, thereby his mount brushed the railings and then shied away from it, during the early part of the race.
It was reported that JEYEM'S SPIRIT (Adarsh G.) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr.V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 178. The Gumbaz Plate - Div. I - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
MY KING (K. Mukesh Kumar) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BLUEBIRD (Tauseef Ahmed) planted and did not take part in the race. In the view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
NYSSA (Nazerul Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of CALL ME MAYBE. Trained by Prasanna Kumar and ridden by Girish R in the above race.
GIRL WITH PEARL (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g JAYADRATHA.
4th Race: 179. The Chatrapathi Cup - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
Jockey P. S. Chouhan, the rider of RAFA reported that inspite of his efforts to keep a straight course, his mount lugged in and caused interference to TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (Sahanawaz) on his inside, which in turn passed it onto SEVEN OF HEARTS (Darshan R.N) along the railings approaching the 200 Meters. Since it was accidental, no action was taken beyond noting the incident.
ALEXANDRITE (Prashant P. Dhebe) accidentally brushed the railings passing the 800 Meters.
EMPEROR CRUISE (Md Hesnain) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

5th Race: 180. The Bangalore Winter Million (Grade - III) (About) 1200 Meters. 3-year-old horses (Foaled in 2014) (5 Runners).
PSYCHIC WARRIOR (Imran Chisty) jumped awkwardly inwards thereby inconveniencing HABANERO (V.R.Jagadeesh) and AIR OF DISTINCTION (P. S. Chouhan) on its inside, soon after the start.
Compulsory sample were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz;

6th Race: 181. The Melkote Plate - (About) 2000 Meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (8 Runners).
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of MASADA was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to EXEMPLAR (Imran Chisty) on his inside, due to which the latter had to be checked, brushed the railings and gradually fell back approaching the 900 Meters.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of LEGACY DREAM was reprimanded for shifting in thereby inconveniencing AMAZING SKILL (Suraj Narredu) on its inside passing the 300 Meters.
MASADA (V.R. Jagadeesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

7th Race: 182. The M. G. Kadali Memorial Plate - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
An enquiry is being held into the comparative performance of J GATSBY (M. Mark) trained by Mr. Neil Darashah, the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 145 of the BWM 2016-17, The Vijayanagar Cup Div - I when ridden by Nazerul Alam, it ran unplaced.

8th Race: 183. The Gaganachukki Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
It was reported after the race that INDIAN FURY (P. S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
RED ADMIRAL (Sahanawaz) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
IRISH PRINCE (Md Hesnain) sustained superficial gum injuries.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g WHAT A NICE MAN.

166. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div. II - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35.
An enquiry was held on 4th February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race in respect of Jockey Sahanawaz’s riding on his mount PRINCESS HOLLY in that from 1000 Meters he took long lead of over 12 lengths, instead of settling his mount a length ahead of the field as instructed. Due to the above his mount had nothing left in him in the last 250 Meters.
Jockey Sahanawaz was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards, after considering the submissions made by Jockey Sahanawaz and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to charge Jockey Sahanawaz for incompetent riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey Sahanawaz with effect from 18th February 2017 upto 24th February, 2017 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing for incompetent riding on his mount PRINCESS HOLLY (he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
163. The Chamundi Hill Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35.
An enquiry was held on 4th February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race in respect of Jockey S.K. Paswan on his mount IDEALIST in that, after jump out till entering in the straight he kept wide course and thereafter, he did not made sufficient efforts and unnecessarily changed course in the final 100 Meters.
Jockey S.K. Paswan and Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu were interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey S.K. Paswan and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to charge Jockey S.K. Paswan for unsatisfactory riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey S.K. Paswan with effect from 14th February 2017 upto 4th March, 2017 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing for unsatisfactory riding on his mount IDEALIST (he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
Further, Stipendiary Stewards were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Trainer G. Sandhu in respect of running of his charge IDEALIST as such he was fined Rs.10,000/- and cautioned for the future.

52. The Planetarium Plate - (About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 years old and over (whips not allowed).
The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Saturday, 11th February 2017 after considering Stipendiary Stewards note decided to disqualify b g NEW ERA winner of Race No. 52, The Planetarium Plate run on Friday, 2nd December 2016 which had come positive for Oxyphenylbutazone from NDTL, New Delhi. Since, Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad has not requested to send the split urine sample for confirmatory analysis.
The revised order after disqualification of NEW ERA is as follows:

Further, Stipendiary Stewards were directed to hold the enquiry in respect of the positive finding of b g NEW ERA in the above race.
