Jockey M.
Noornabi, the rider of ROCK STEADY was reprimanded for shifting in and
inconveniencing EARLY BIRD (Imran Chisty) on his inside at the start.
Jockey S.
John, the rider of REGENCY GIRL was severely reprimanded for shifting out and
inconveniencing BRUNESCO (Anjar Alam) and BOLD RUNNER (B. Nayak) on
his outside passing the 1000 Meters.

Chisty, the rider of EARLY BIRD was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and
causing interference to FINE BARRISTOR (K. Mukesh Kumar) on his inside,
which in turn passed it onto WIND STRIKER (Jan'dhan Paswan) and BOLD
RUNNER (B. Nayak) on its inside before passing the red marker post.

Kumar M, the rider of RED ADMIRAL was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming in and causing
interference to horses on his inside viz; AL FAARIS (Arshad Alam)
and SLIGHTLY BLONDE (Darshan R.N) approaching 1000 Meters.
An
enquiry is being held into the inconsistent pattern and the resultant
reversal of form of CASHMERE (Rayan Ahmed R.), trained by Mr. S.
Britto in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.160 of BWM
2016-17 i.e., The Murudeshwara Plate, about 1400 Meters, Horses rated 00 to 20,
run on 3rd February 2017..
Jockey
Syed imran, the rider of ANGELIC LOVE was reprimanded for travelling wide from
the 500 Meters till the winning post for no apparent reason.

FAARIS (Arshad Alam) sustained superficial injury on right fore cannon.

use of whip on his mount during race(1st infringement).
ATTRACTIVE
BAY (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.

Venkatesh Nayak Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50(12
Runners).

Kumar A, the rider of NEYMAR was reprimanded for shifting out and
inconveniencing DONT TRUST ANYONE (Rajesh Kumar M) on his outside passing
the 200 Meters.
Jockey Chethan
Gowda, the rider of PAPADOKIA was reprimanded for shifting out and
inconveniencing ROMANTIC HELEN (Rayan Ahmed R.) on his outside, which in
turn passed it onto DAGOBERT (Arshad Alam) passing the 150 Meters.
Jockey
Jaykumar, the rider of STRONG CONVICTION was reprimanded for dropping hands
before passing the winning post.
Trainer
Mr. R. V. Manohar was questioned into the improved performance of his
charge STORM (Y. S. Srinath) in the above race as compared to its previous
ran in Race No.137 of the BWM 2016-17, when ridden by Jockey T.S. Jodha, it ran
unplaced. The trainer stated as follows:
(a) his charge had
suffered a training setback after it was withdrawn in Mysore;
(b) in its previous run’s,
he had declared two good jockeys i.e., T.S. Jodha and P.S. Chouhan, but still his charge did
not perform well;
(c) his charge had work very well before, this
race and it had shown good improvement;
(d) he had given
sufficient time to his charge from its previous run and that was over four
weeks;
(e) he fancied the chances of his charge in
this set, had declared a good rider and won the above race;
His explanation
was noted.

Race: 204. The
Governor's Trophy - (About) 1600 meters. 3-year-old horses (foaled in 2014) (5
Runners).

6th
Race: 205. The Tumkur
Plate - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over
(12 Runners).
Jockey
Janaradhan Paswan replaced the indisposed V.R. Jagadeesh on ABLE
MASTER.
CHERIE
AMOUR (Arshad Alam) took a fly jump at the start, as such the rider momentarily
lost his left stirrup, which he regained within a few strides.
Jockey Naveen
M, the rider of ODYSSEY reported that the saddle shifted back passing the 1100
Meters. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was
fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.
Jockey
Y. S. Srinath, the rider of RAVELNATION was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in
and causing interference to INTERNAL AFFAIR (Imran Chisty) on his
inside passing the 300 Meters.
Jockey Rajesh
Kumar M, the rider of FRENEMEE reported that his mount was hanging 'in'
throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to take
appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

AMOUR (Arshad Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality
was reported.

7th
Race: 206. The
Hurricane Stud Plate - (About) 1600 meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (7
Runners).
Permission
was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw INTO THE
SPOTLIGHT (Imran Chisty) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame
on right fore due to sprained high suspensory. He was informed that he must
produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
It
was observed that CZAR RULE (Manish R) was hanging in after entering
the straight, as such it went in and inconvenienced SAGRADA (A.Ramu)
on his inside passing the 350 Meters. The horse was impounded for
veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

8th Race: 207. The Gadag Plate - Div. I - (About) 1100 meters.
Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).

Janardhan Paswan replaced the indisposed V.R. Jagadeesh on BELLEROPHON.
Jockey Antony
Raj S., the rider of ALAINA caused interference to ROARING THUNDER (Irvan
Singh) on his inside, as such the latter collided into the railings passing the
1000 Meters. An enquiry is being held into the incident.
An
enquiry is being held into the interference received by ZAFRINA (Suraj
Narredu) approaching 900 Meters in the above race.
ADMIRAL
HATSU (R Manjunath) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sandhu. G was
informed to ensure better performance of his charge in the future.
Jockey
A. Ramu, the rider of RAMON was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing
BELLEROPHON (Janaradhan Paswan) passing the 900 Meters.
ROARING
THUNDER (Irvan Singh) sustained superficial injury on left fore tendon.
ZAFRINA
(Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.

184. The Longchamp Plate - Div. II -
(About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35.
(A)
An enquiry was held on 23rd
February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the excess weight of shoes
(1073.8gms) on MY KING (Md Hesnain) as regards to prescribed limit of 600 gms,
trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar in the above race.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar decided to charge Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b)(i) for negligence pertaining to duties as a trainer.
The
Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Trainer
Mr. Sharat Kumar with effect from 6th March 2017 upto 18th
March, 2017 as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for the negligence
pertaining to duties as a trainer in respect of his charge MY KING and he was
informed of his right to appeal.
(B)
An enquiry was held on 20th
February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the excess weight of
shoes (634.6gms) on GOLDEN FRIEND (P. Ramesh) as regards to prescribed limit of
600 gms, trained by Mr. S. Inayathulla in the above race.
Trainer Mr.S. Inayathulla was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr.S. Inayathulla decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b)(i) for negligence pertaining to duties as a trainer.
188. The S. Rangarajan Memorial
Trophy - (About) 1600 Meters. Horses rated 60 and above.
An enquiry was held on 23rd
February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the excess weight of shoes
(855 gms) on SUMMER DAWN (M. Kumar) as regards to prescribed limit of 600 gms,
trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar in the above race.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar decided to fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/- as it was the second offence on the same day for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b)(i) for negligence pertaining to duties as a trainer.
189. The Amazing Grey Plate -
(About) 1200 Meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over.
An enquiry was held on 23rd February, 2017 by the Stipendiary
Stewards into
the improved performance of ATLANTIS (Suraj Narredu) trained by S. Narredu in
the above race as compared to its previous run in race no.145 of BWM 2016-17.
i.e., The Vijayanagar Cup Div – I, about 1200 Meters, horses rated 30 to 50, 5
years old and over, run on 26th January 2017.
Trainer Mr.
S. Narredu was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after
considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. S.
Narredu they decided to note the explanations
tendered by him as follows;
(a)
his charge had run in a similar pattern in its previous start ridden by apprentice Jockey Manish.R;
(b) his charge had led till about 150 Meters and had
finished about 6 lengths from the winner;
(c) he had given his charge a sufficient gap of about
three weeks;
(d) it had worked reasonably well before it had won the
above race and
(e) he himself was surprised as he had just given a
place chance.
190. The Classic Story Plate - Div.
I - (About) 1400 Meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over .
An enquiry was held on 26th
February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the inconsistent pattern
running of INTERNAL AFFAIR (Shiva Kumar. S) trained by Narayana Gowda.V in the
above race as compared to its previous run in race no.163 of BWM 2016-17. i.e.,
The Chamundi Hill Plate – Div - I, about 1200 Meters, horses rated 15 to 35,
run on 3rd February 2017.
Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda.V was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda.V decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge INTERNAL AFFAIR in the above race.
