1st Race: 216. The Karnataka Racehorse Owners' Association Million Cup - (About) 1100 meters. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (15 Runners).
Jockey A. Ramu replaced the indisposed Jan'dhan Paswan on FANTASTIC APP.
PERFECT STRIDE (Arshad Alam) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f QUEEN LATIFA.
2nd Race: 217. The Indiarace.com Million - (About) 1800 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (14 Runners).
ABOVE THE REST (Prashant P. Dhebe) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
CORAGGIO (Neeraj Rawal) took a fly jump, thereby unbalancing the rider who lost his left stirrup, which he regained within a few strides. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
LITTLE LOVE (Manish R) ran detached from the field after passing the 400 Meters and the horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FLIRTING EYES.
3rd Race: 218. The Hindu Multi-Million - (About) 1200 meters. 3 years old only (5 Runners).
Jockey Prashant P.Dhebe, the rider of SILVER IKON shifted in and caused interference to LORD BUCKINGHAM (Y. S. Srinath) which in turn passed it onto KANGRA (Louis Beuzelen) and STAR CARNATION (P.S. Chouhan) which was travelling along the rails also had to be severely checked by its rider, before passing the red marker post. An enquiry is being held into the incident.
Jockey Louis Beuzelen, the rider of KANGRA, placed 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe, the rider of SILVER IKON, placed 1st for “After jumping out Jockey Prashant P Dhebe shifted in sharply, thereby lost his position which is cost him certain race ”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
MALAWI (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dk b f MALAWI.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g SILVER IKON.
4th Race: 219. The Shapoorji Pallonji Million - (About) 2000 meters. Horses rated 60 and above (13 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dallas Todywala to withdraw MOGADISHU on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflamed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for not declaring his charge ACE BADRAAN to start in the above race after having accepted with it to run in the above race.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of SPEED HAWK was reprimanded for shifting in and causing interference to RARE RHYTHM (A. Imran Khan) on his inside passing the 1800 Meters.
Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of ZUCCHERO reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 150 Meters.
RARE RHYTHM (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BOLD MARCH.
5th Race: 220. The Suresh Mahindra Multi-Million Trophy (Grade-II) (About) 1400 meters. Indian horses 4 years old and over (14 Runners)
YOUR ROYAL MAJESTY (Suraj Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards, thereby inconveniencing horses on its outside viz; FIRE GLOW (Neeraj Rawal) and SATELLITE (N. S. Parmar) at the start.
ASTER ROSE (Imran Chisty) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In the view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of SEA LAGOON reported that he could not get a clear run during the early part of the race.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of BOLD COMMAND was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race(1st infringement).
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of FIRE GLOW reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

ACCLAIMED (Ryan Marshall) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6th Race: 221. The Maj.P.K.Mehra Memorial Super Mile Cup (Grade-I) (About) 1600 meters. Indian horses 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw ACE BUCEPHALUS (Irvan Singh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to capped elbow. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
MICKEY MOUSE (Arshad Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V. was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
LA DONA (P. Trevor) slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In the view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Darius R. Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
MICKEY MOUSE (Arshad Alam) accidentally brushed the railings passing the 1000 Meters.
Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SERJEANT AT ARMS was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing MICKEY MOUSE (Arshad Alam) on its inside passing the 900 Meters.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of MICKEY MOUSE was reprimanded for shifted out and inconveniencing MACHIAVELLIANISM (P. S. Chouhan) on its outside passing the 600 Meters.
It was observed that BATTALION (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on right fore passing the 400 Meters. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

7th Race: 222. The Indian Turf Invitation Cup (Grade-I) (About) 2400 meters. Indian horses 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from gr f HALL OF FAMER.
HALL OF FAMER (David Allan) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade – IV). Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
8th Race: 223. The Kimmane Million - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50(15 Runners).
Jockey N.S. Parmar, the rider of TIMES TIME reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ARECA CRUISE was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing DEL PORTO (Irvan Singh) on his inside, passing the 300 Meters.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of LAMREI reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 150 Meters.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of LAMREI was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PEARL CITY.

196. The Saptharishi Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 60 and above.
An enquiry was held on 28th February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Rajesh Kumar. M on his mount TAQDEER KA BADSHAH which shifted in sharply and caused interference to SALADIN (David Allan), wherein he received a check which in turn passed it onto ROYAL DEFENCE (Rayan Ahmed. R) and ACE BADRAAN (Anjar Alam) soon after the start.
Jockey Rajesh Kumar. M was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Rajesh Kumar. M and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Rajesh Kumar. M for careless riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey Rajesh Kumar. M with effect from 10th March 2017 upto 18th March 2017 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for careless riding on his mount TAQDEER KA BADSHAH (he is permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
197. The Star of Windsor Plate - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35
An enquiry was held on 26th February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the excess weight of shoes (769 gms) on QUEENOFGOODTIMES (Md. Akram) as regards to prescribed limit of 600 gms, trained by Mr. Samar Singh in the above race.
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. Samar Singh decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b)(i) for negligence pertaining to duties as a trainer.
199. The Devarayanadurga Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 45 to 65.
An enquiry was held on 2nd March, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh on his mount HECTOR which shifted out from about 250 Meters and caused severe interference to WAR ENVOY (Y.S. Srinath) which forced out ZAFRAN (P. Trevor) to extreme outside passing the 250 Meters.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh for careless riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh with effect from 12th March 2017 upto 18th March 2017 (both days inclusive) and should he be granted license for the year 2017-18 the same shall remain suspended from 13th May 2017 upto 14th May 2017 as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for careless riding on his mount HECTOR (he is permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

201. The Ramanagar Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20 .
An enquiry was held on 2th March, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the inconsistent pattern running and the resultant reversal of form of CASHMERE (Rayan Ahmed R.), trained by Mr. S. Britto in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.160 of BWM 2016-17 i.e., The Murudeshwara Plate, about 1400 Meters, Horses rated 00 to 20, run on 3rd February 2017.
Trainer Mr. S. Britto was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Trainer Mr. S. Britto decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running and resultant reversal of form of his charge CASHMERE in the above race.
207. The Gadag Plate - Div. I - (About) 1100 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35.
An enquiry was held on 26th February, 2017 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Antony Raj. S on his mount ALAINA which shifted in and caused severe interference to ROARING THUNDER (Irvan Singh), as such latter collided with the railings and dropped back at about 1000 Meters.
Jockey Antony Raj. S was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Antony Raj. S and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Antony Raj. S for careless riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey Antony Raj. S with effect from 9th March 2017 upto 17th March 2017 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for careless riding on his mount ALAINA (he is permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
