HIGH VOLTAGE (Irvan Singh) was slowly away.
slowly away,Trainer & Jockey were questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge MISTRESS OF SPICE in the above race. The Trainer stated that: (a) he had asked the rider to ride from a forward position.
(b) his charge had worked very well in the morning track work
(c) his only concern was that the blinkers may have not suited his charge and he prefers to run the horse without blinkers next time.
(d) he cannot attribute any other reasons but the horse to perform in this manner.
The Jockey stated that his mount was sluggish at the start thereby losing a few lengths and thereafter he rode out but could only finish in the mid bunch.

(b) In its previous outings at Mysore the horse had won and run second but only in the first outing at Bangalore it had a bad race mainly due to the going.
