RACING INCIDENTS
(1– 8)
False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 4 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 1. The Black Cavier Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).
PRINCE CHARMO (Sunil Samson) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr c SIR CECIL.
2nd Race: 2. The Nilgiris Plate - Div. II - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (14 Runners).
Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of ZEDCLASS reported that mount was running green throughout the race.
PRODIGAL SON (Darshan R.N) accidentally stumbled passing the 900 Meters, thereby dislodging its rider. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was found to be lame on right fore and sustained complete fracture of right radius and ulna. Hence, it was euthanized.
Jockey T. S. Jodha, the rider of MUSIC DIVINE reported that his mount was not galloping fluently. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey S.K.Paswan, the rider of MYSTIFY ME was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of NEW ERA was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
KRUGER PARK (Chethan Gowda) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PRINCESS RUMELA.
3rdRace: 3. The Belur Plate - (About) 1100 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20 (14 Runners).
LIKEAKNIFE (Rajesh Kumar .M) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V. was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
SPECTRE (PrashantP.Dhebe) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced PURITY (Mudassar Nazar) at the start.
Jockey R. Anand, the rider of SILKEN STRIKER was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to TEA WID ME (D. Patel) on his inside which in turn passed it onto GOLDEN OPINION (Ashok Kumar A.) along the rails approaching 1000 Meters.
Jockey Aqeed Waheed, the rider of BOLD RUNNER was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing AAFRIKAAN (Shiva Kumar.S) which in turn passed it onto BELLEROPHON (Arshad Alam) on his outside passing the 750 Meters.
Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of ROCKET PUNCH was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing LIKEAKNIFE (Rajesh Kumar M) passing the 250 Meters.
Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of LIKEAKNIFE was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount in the final 200 Meters of the race.
It was observed that DELIGHT (Ryan Marshall) ran detached from the field in the last 100 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g INCITATUS.
4th Race: 4. The G.Krishnappa Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50 (14 Runners).
SPOT LIGHT (PrashantP.Dhebe) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
WAR ENVOY (Nazerul Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey S. John, the rider of RUM RUNNER was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to RECZAI (Ramesh Kumar N) passing the 1300 Meters and for further shifting in and tightening DONNA ROSSA (Suraj Narredu) and DONT DILLY DALLY (Arshad Alam) on his inside, whereby HIGH ADMIRAL (V.R.Jagadeesh) was travelling directly behind DONNA ROSSA (Suraj Narredu) had to be checked by its rider and shift out, thereby HIDDEN SOLDIER (Kiran Rai P),WAR ENVOY (Nazerul Alam) and PRINCEAZEEM (Syed Imran) were inconvenienced on its outside passing the 1200 Meters.
It was observed that Jockey Syed Imran, the rider of PRINCEAZEEM lost his right stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Subsequently, he had to remove his leg from the left stirrup passing the 1200 Meters. As such he could not offer any assistance to his mount throughout the race.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of SETAGLOW was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position between the 700 Meters to 500 Meters.
Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of GANDHARVA was severely reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DONNA ROSSA reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the last 200 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of HIGH ADMIRAL reported that he could not get a clear run in the final 50 Meters due to a closely packed field.
Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of GANDHARVA was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RUM RUNNER.
5th Race: 5. The New Year Cup(Grade III) - (About) 1400 meters. 4 years old and over at the time of starting (7 Runners).
It was observed that SHIVALIK STAR (S. John) lost its right hind action passing the 1200 Meters due to which the Jockey had to steady his mount, whereby PEARL CITY (Suraj Narredu) and MAGISTERO (Prashant P.Dhebe) which were travelling directly behind had to be check their respective mounts.
SHIVALIK STAR (S.John) sustained deep injury on right hind fetlock.
BOLD COMMAND (Y.S. Srinath) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

6th Race: 6. The Stewards Trophy - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 60 and above (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw INTO THE SPOTLIGHT on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
FLAMBOYANCE (Y. S. Srinath) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
AYRTON (S. John) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race. He was further informed that if his charge continues to behave in a similar manner it would be banned from racing under BTC Rules of Racing.
It was reported after the race that UNGOOGLEABLE (A.R. Pradeep) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PINYADA.
7th Race: 7. The Nilgiris Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (14 Runners).
FLORENCIA (Sunil Samson) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of DYNAMISM was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing IMPRIMATUR (Nazerul Alam) on his inside approaching 1000 Meters.
Jockey Prashant P.Dhebe, the rider of REGENCY GIRL reported that mount was running green throughout the race.
It was observed that LIMATO (A.Ramu) had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner DYNAMISM (Arshad Alam) passing the 1100 Meters.
It was reported after the race that GAME AGAIN (P. Mani) pulled up lame on left hind at (6.30 p.m.). Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m FLORENCIA.
8th Race: 8. The Bidar Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
ONE BIG GANG (Jan'dhan Paswan) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BEYOND REACH (Nazerul Alam) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of PARADISO reported that he accidentally lost his whip while jumping out from the starting gates.
AGNETA (Shiva Kumar S.) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced ERDEMIR (V.R. Jagadeesh) on its outside soon after the start.
Jockey Shiva Kumar .S, the rider of AGNETA was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe, the rider of MAYWEATHER reported that mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
ERDEMIR (V.R. Jagadeesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
KUDLA PUNCH (S.K. Paswan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
It was reported after the race that AGNETA (Shiva Kumar .S) lost its left hind shoe during the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TZAR.
