Penetrometer Reading:  3.8 cms

 

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 7 Meters from 1600 to winning post from its original position.

1st Race: 47. The Hebbe Falls Plate - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (12 Runners).

NYSSA (Arshad Alam) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced BELLEROPHON (M. Prabhakaran) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

BUCKPASSER JUNIOR (Harish B.) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. M. P. Mahaesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

KANTHAKA (Raghu K) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade IV). Trainer Mr V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge CORYBANTIC (Imran Chisty) as compared to its previous run in Race No. 40 i.e., The Dharmastala Plate (about) 1600 meters, horses rated 15 to 35 when it ran unplaced in the said race. The trainer stated that his charge was running in a very poor company and had come down in class as such the horse has shown no improvement. His explanations were noted for future reference.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CORYBANTIC.

2nd Race: 48. The R.W.I.T.C. Trophy - (About) 1400 metres. 4-year-old horses (Foaled in 2014) (4 Runners).

It was reported after the race that PINYADA (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f HOT N FIRE.

3rd Race: 49. The Shravanabelagola Plate - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 6 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr B. Prithviraj to withdraw FIRST STEP on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was fined Rs.10,000/- for having accepted his charge REVERBERATING (Jan'dhan Paswan) to run in the above race when the owner was in (BTF ban). Subsequently, it was permitted to be withdrawn in the above race.

SAFFRON INTENSE (Rajesh Kumar M) ran detached after passing the 400 Metres. Trainer Mr V. Narayana Gowda was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. 

Jockey A. R. Pradeep, the rider of ONLY PRINCE and Jockey R. Rayan Ahmed, the rider of EXTREMELYDANGEROUS were cautioned for taking an unduly long lead during the race.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of FREESTYLE was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DEL PORTO.

4th Race: 50. The Chickmagalur Nirvanappa Shetty Nanjamma TMP Cup - Div. I - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of HIDDEN SOLDIER was fined Rs. 2,000/- for travelling wide from 1200 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason.  

HIDDEN SOLDIER (Rajesh Kumar M) accidentally stumbled passing the 800 Metres.

Jockey Sai Kiran, the rider of SUMMER DAWN was fined Rs. 10,000/- for the excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount during the race. (2nd Infringement)

It was reported after the race that CAMPARI GIRL (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade IV at 7:05 p.m). Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from ch m CAMPARI GIRL.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUMMER DAWN.

5th Race: 51. The Karnataka Racehorse Owners' Association Million - (About) 1200 metres. 3-year-old Horses(Foaled in 2015) based in Karnataka (7 Runners).

REGAL FORCE (Darshan R.N) was extremely fractious, reared up and was stuck in the starting gates for a considerable period of time and was found to have sustained injury on knee and left stifle. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter’s order. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of MY LEXICON reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c SALVADOR DALI.

 

6th Race: 52. The F K Irani Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners).

Jockey V. R. Jagadeesh, the rider of EL FENIX was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in onto SURF ROMANCE (Imran Chisty) as a result SURF ROMANCE (Imran Chisty) shifted in and caused interference to FORCE ENSIGN (Irvan Singh) along the rails passing the 1000 Metres.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FAIR GAME placed 3rd by the judge against Jockey V. R. Jagadeesh, the rider of EL FENIX placed 2nd for "In the last 150 Metres the rider of EL FENIX shifted in and checked me whereby I had to stop riding which cost me a certain 2nd place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey V. R Jagadeesh, the rider of EL FENIX was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FAIR GAME (Arshad Alam) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m PEARL CITY.

7th Race: 53. The Krishna Raja Sagar Plate - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.10,000/- for having accepted his charge PERFECTGOLDENERA (Sai Kiran)  to run in the above race when the owner was in (BTF ban). Subsequently, it was permitted to be withdrawn in the above race. 

Jockey R Manjunath, the rider of FINE BARRISTOR was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to GOLDEN SUCCESS (Vivek) on his inside passing the 1150 Metres.

Jockey R Manjunath, the rider of FINE BARRISTOR was reprimanded for travelling wide throughout the race for no apparent reason.

VISION OF THE SKY (R. Rayan Ahmed) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey M. Naveen, the rider of PERFECT KING was fined Rs.3,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount after entering the straight.

ISLAND PEARL (Rajesh Kumar M) and STAR LINE (Prashant.P.Dhebe) were impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

FINE BARRISTOR (R Manjunath) sustained gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g BEYOND REACH.

8th Race: 54. The Chickmagalur Nirvanappa Shetty Nanjamma TMP Cup - Div. II - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

LUNAR STORM (Darshan R.N) was extremely fractious, reared up and was stuck in the starting gates for a considerable period of time and was found to have sprained both tendon. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter’s order. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

HAPPY DANCING (Sai Kiran) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls and was found to have sprained both fore tendon. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter’s order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.  

Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of ERDEMIR was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NINON (Chethan Gowda)  on his inside which in turn passed it onto FLORENCIA (B. Nayak) passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of FIORENZO was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

BIRCHWOOD (A. Ramu) sustained injury on right stifle.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ERDEMIR.

ADDITIONAL REPORT

BANGALORE WINTER MEETING 2017-18

FIFTH DAY, FRIDAY, 26TH JANUARY 2018

34. The S V Subramaniam Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over.

An enquiry was held on 3th February, 2018, by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race in respect of Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan pertaining to his riding on his mount CZAR RULE in that after entering into the straight he did not ride out his mount vigorously.

Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards, after considering the submissions made by Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan and Trainer Mr. Samar Singh and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to charge Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan for Indifferent Riding (Rule No. 161 (ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter fined Jockey Jan’dhan Paswan a sum of Rs.15,000/- for Indifferent Riding (Rule No. 161 (ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount CZAR RULE (he was informed of his right to appeal).

 SIXTH DAY, SATURDAY, 27TH JANUARY 2018            

45. The K S Premchand Memorial Trophy - Div. II - (About) 1100 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50.

(A)

An enquiry was held into the relatively improved performance of HIDDEN SOLDIER (M. Rajesh Kumar), trained by Narayana Gowda. V in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.30 i.e, The Madhugiri Plate about 1200 Metres, Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (Whips not allowed) run on 20th January, 2018. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the races in question and considering the submissions made by the trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda. V was fined Rs.15,000/- for the relatively improved performance of HIDDEN SOLDIER as compared to its previous run.

(B)

It was reported on 29th January, 2018 by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that b.c. EYE SIGN was found to be suffering from paralysis of larynx (ILH –Grade III) on endoscopic examination.
