RAILING POSITION : Railing fixed at average
width of 6 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 1. The Inauguration Plate - (About)
1100 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (10 Runners).
Jockey Vivek, the rider of PREMIER PREMISES reported that he
lost his left stirrup soon after the start which he regained within a few
strides.
It was observed that Jockey A.Imran Khan, the rider of TUDOR
PRINCE had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner PREMIER
PREMISES (Vivek), thereby shifting in and inconveniencing INKY BLACK
(Arshad Alam) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch
g HUNTERS MOON.
2nd Race: 2. The Badami Plate - (About) 1200
metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
SO MI DAR (Md.Akram) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In
view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. was informed that he must
not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of
the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
LOVE FOR LIFE (Vivek) walked out of the gates and lost many
lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K.P.G Appu was
informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to
the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of DONTBREAKTHERULES was fined
Rs.3,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount after
entering the straight.
It was reported after the race that ALVAREZ (Sunil
Samson) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.Mahmood Khan was informed
that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer
before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b
g RAMON.
3rd Race: 3. The Broadacres Stud Plate -
(About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (11 Runners).
TURF TACTICS (P. Mani) planted, lost many lengths and ran
detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Samar
Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its
behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least
two Mock Races.
Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was questioned as regards poor performance
of his charge MAHANATI (S. Selvaraj).
The trainer stated that:
(a) He had taken over this horse at the end of September;
(b) He had instructed the Jockey to ride from a forward position
but his charge took sluggish jump and could not obtain a desired position;
(c) Thereafter, Jockey was forced to travel wide from the 700
Metres;
(d) His charge stopped galloping in the final 75 Metres and ran
detached thereafter;
(e) He also added that he would check his charge if it had any
aliments and would take necessary measures for it to perform better in its
upcoming starts.
His explanations were noted for future reference.
It was reported after the race that GAME CHANGER (Arshad
Alam) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed
that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer
before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CERISE
NOIR.
4th Race: 4. The Rajyotsava Trophy (Grade III)
- (About) 1400 metres. 3 years old and over. (8 Runners).
It was observed that Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of ACCOLADE
had to steady his mount to avoid striking the runner alongside SIOBHAN (A.
Sandesh), thereby NEW MOON (Arshad Alam) which was travelling directly
behind the former had to be steadied passing the 950 Metres.
It was observed that NEW MOON (Arshad Alam) did not get a
clear run between 150 Metres and 100 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II
& III placed horses viz:

5th Race: 5. The Kabini Cup - (About) 1200
metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners).
MONGOLIAN KING (S. Zervan) was slightly slowly away. In view
of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must not
accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b
c TURF STAR.
6th Race: 6. The Adichunchanagiri Plate -
(About) 1100 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (9 Runners).
FINE BARRISTOR (K. Nazil) was examined at the starting gate
by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left
fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary
grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Mahmood
Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the
Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ALPHA was fined Rs.3,000/-
for coming 'in' and causing interference to the horses on his inside
viz; SMILE OF COURAGE (Nazerul Alam) and PRIDE OF PLACE (Rayan
Ahmed R.) passing the 950 Metres.
Jockey Jan'dhan Paswan, the rider of SECRETSUPERSTAR reported
that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering in the straight. The horse was
impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Prashant P.Dhebe, the rider of QUEEN
ISABELLA reported that his mount was hanging out from 800 Metres till
about 400 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but
no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of SMILE OF COURAGE reported
that he accidently lost his whip passing the 300 Meters.
