Jockey Arshad Alam (GAZEBO TALK) was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
An enquiry was held on 29th November, 2020 by the Stipendiary Steward for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Tousif Khan on his mount HABANERO in that he shifted ‘in'' and caused severe interference to to the horses viz; ESTELLA (Akshay Kumar), ELITE AGENT (Harish B.) and MARCO POLO (Arul J.H) on his inside before passing the red marker post. Jockey Tousif Khan was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Tousif Khan and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Tousif Khan for Dangerous Riding.
The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Tousif Khan with effect from 13th December, 2020 to 9th January 2021 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Dangerous Riding on his mount HABANERO (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
OZARK (S. Zervan) suddenly shied towards the outside passing the 1100Metres, thereby inconveniencing the horses on his outside viz;AUGUSTINA (Anjar Alam) and HABANERO (Tousif Khan) and also Jockey S. Zervan was reprimanded for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres of the race.
