Jockey Suraj Narredu (QUEEN OF KYIV) reported that his mount momentarily stumbled twice approaching 1400 Metres. He added that his mount was inexperienced and was running with a little more experienced horses, his mount did not relish the early pace of the race, wherein he could sit in a box seat position and ride out in this race, with the experience in the above race his mount should fare well in the upcoming starts. His explanations were noted for future reference.

Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the behavior of LIMITED EDITION (L. Alex Rozario) at the starting gates.
The trainer stated that:
a) He took over LIMITED EDITION from Trainer Mr. Rajendra singh on 15/3/2023.
b) This horse had behaved in a similar manner in its previous starts on 4/6/2023 & 16/7/2023 in Race No.43 i.e., The Elite Force Plate Div- I (about) 1200 Metres, Horses rated 20 to 45 where it placed 3rd when ridden by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh & in Race No.132 i.e., The Desert God Trophy (about) 1400 Metres, Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old & over where it placed 5th when ridden by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh;
c) Subsequently, he used Monty Roberts blanket in the mock race, wherein the behavior of the horse had improved;
d) Since, the behavior of his charge had improved with the said equipment he applied for the use of the same in the above race.
e) Jockey L. Alex Rozario rode in the above race at the choice of the owner;
f) To his utter shock the horse did not jump out the way he jumped during the morning trails.
g) Although, he had fancied this horse in the present company he could not attribute any explanations as to the favoritism enjoyed by his charge.
While noting his explanations for future reference the trainer was advised to:
i) This horse should satisfy the stewards in its next two mock races with the similar equipment. Depending upon the behavior of the horse in the subsequent two mock races he will be advised as to the acceptance of this horse in races.
ii) Should it continue in a similar manner of behavior at the starting gates, the stipendiary stewards would recommend to the Stewards to BAN the entry of this horse in races under the B.T.C Rules of Racing.
iii) The trainer accepted the above conditions and stated that he would ensure to improve the behavior of the horse at the gates.
AUGUSTO (Shamaz Shareef) to withdrawn on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained injury on right knee and cellulitis. Trainer was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate.
