1st Race : 23. The Chamundi Hills Cup – Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (6 Runners)

 

Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in accepting his charge GAME FACE (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) to run in the above race without showing it in a Mock Race when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.

 

Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in accepting his charge SPARK OF ZEAL (V.R. Jagdeesh) to run in the above race without showing it in a gate practice when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.

 

Jockey Vivek, the rider of ARYANSH, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight and he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was advised to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey R. Ravi, the rider of SIZZLING STAR, was reprimanded for negotiating the final bend wide for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of HALO OF SPLENDOUR, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that STINGER (S.R. Santosh Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was informed that that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

2nd Race : 24. The Bidadi Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Noorulla, the rider of SPANISH CROWN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for traveling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of HI HEINEKEN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to HAPPINESS (Afsar Khan) on his inside approaching the 600 Metres

 

AMAZING FLORA (D. Mahendran) sustained bruises over right shoulder.

 

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of AMAZING FLORA trained by Mr. Bipin V Saliv and ridden by Jockey D.Mahendran.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f WINNING DESIRE.

 

3rd Race : 25. The Chaitanya Chakram Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Rakesh was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge WILD TEMPER. Subsequently `all black” emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race it was observed that the left fore shoe of RED DAWN (Noorulla) had apparently splayed during the race.

 

It was observed that RED DAWN (Noorulla) accidentally clipped the heels of the front runner TURF RAIDER (S. Chandrashekar) and stumbled approaching the 500 Metres.

 

BULLISH LUCK (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) was slowly away from the gates and did not raise a fluent gallop for a few strides. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

TURF RAIDER (S. Chandrashekar) sustained deep cut injury on right hind.

 

CHIEF DE MISSION (B. Sreekanth) sustained clipped injury on right hind outer bulb.

 

4th Race : 26. The Arakalgudu Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge CHAKRAVYUHA BHEDAK. Subsequently `all black” emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of HIDDEN PLEASURES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

HIDDEN PLEASURES (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) sustained clipped injury over right hind chestnut.

5th Race : 27. The Kollegal Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in accepting his charge ZAIOS (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) to run in the above race without showing it in a Mock Race. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.

 

Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge GREEN VISION. Subsequently `all black” emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

As Jockey M.D. Praveen was certified medically unfit to ride and as there was no suitable substitute Jockey available, permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Bobby to withdraw VERTICAL LIMIT from the above race.

 

SWISS QUEEN (D. Mahendran) reared up as the gates opened and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaivour trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaivour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

VERTEX (H.G. Rathod) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.

 

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of ARABIAN MEMORIES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

Jockey D. Mahendran, the rider of SWISS QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

TRUE FORCE (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained cut injury on left hock.

 

It was reported after the race that ELEMENTOO STYLE (S. Rajesh) had burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f REAL MAGIC.

 

6th Race : 28. The Chamundi Hills Cup – Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (9 Runners)

 

AZAZEL (Md. Sameer) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced FACTION LEADER (Vijay Kumar) and KALISKA (N. Ravinder Singh) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of VIBHUTHI, reported that his mount was inclined to run out soon after the start and in the process bumped MR GENIOUS (Ladjadj Stephane) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey N. Ravinder Singh, the rider of KALISKA, reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for anlaysis from the winner b g MR GENIOUS.

 

7th Race : 29. The Chaitanya Chakram Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to withdraw TALK OF THE DEVIL (S. Selvaraj) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was observed that the saddle of LOOKING TO LEAD (B. Sreekanth), had shifted back considerably during the race. After due examination of the equipment after the race, trainer Mr. J. Sharavanan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

 

DANGER DIABOLIC (B. Mahesh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

BOSTON RANGER (R. Ravi) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Pratap M Kamath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of LOOKING TO LEAD, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight and he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course. Trainer Mr. J. Sharavana was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of DANGER DIABOLIC, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

 

Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BEAUTY ON DUTY.

 

8th Race : 30. The Malavalli Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. M. Pratap Kamath was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge HEROS DOMINANCE as regards shoeing.

 

Jockey Md. Sameer, the rider of SERIOUS WARRIOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MASURATHI (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of SECRET FURY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
