1st Race : 31. The Heggadadevanakote Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
As Jockey Khurshad Alam could not arrive intime to fulfil his riding engagement, permission was granted to trainer Mr. G.T. Surender to substitute Jockey Himanshu to ride TIME TO SPARKLE in place of the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the girth and
surcingle on his charge TIME TO SPARKLE (Himanshu) whereby Jockey Himanshu
weighed in 800 grams more than that he had weighed out.
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of SPARK OF SYMPHONY, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey N. Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of WHISPER VALLEY, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
WORTH A DIAMOND (Ahsan Qureshi) sustained injuries on right hind pastern.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. G.T. Surender to the Stewards for the inconsistent running and the resultant reversal of form of his charge TIME TO SPARKLE (Himanshu), the winner of the above race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.30, The Malavalli Plate - (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over run on 2nd June 2010 when ridden by Jockey N. Ravinder Singh it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. G.T. Surender. After deliberations they decided to fine trainer Mr. G.T. Surender Rs.5,000/- for the inconsistent running and the resultant reversal of form of his charge TIME TO SPARKLE and further informed him that a repetition of similar manner of running of his charges would be viewed seriously..
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TIME TO SPARKLE.
2nd Race : 32. The Somwarpet Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3
years old only (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. M. Bobby was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge WIMBELDON STAR. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from b f AAHANA.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g BUCETHALIS.
3rd Race : 33. The Ranibennur Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (10 Runners)
As Jockey R. Ravi was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 1st race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Sharavanan to substitute Jockey P. Mani to ride LOOKING TO LUCK in place of the declared rider
Jockey N. Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of ROYAL LIASON, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NANO BLUE (Md. Sameer) on his inside approaching the 1400 Metres.
ROYAL LIASON (N. Tauseef Ahmed) sustained injuries on both hind bulb of heel
4th Race : 34. The Takshashila Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
As Jockey M. Suresh was certified medically unfit to ride permission was granted to trainer Mr. Bipin V. Salvi to substitute Jockey D. Mahendran to ride LEATHER QUEEN in place of the declared rider.
As Jockey H.G. Rathod was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to substitute Jockey J. Paswan to ride SUAVE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Himanshu, the rider of WINNING DESIRE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to HAPPINESS (Afsar Khan) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey D. Mahendran, the rider of LEATHER QUEEN, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing HEROS DOMINANCE (A. Ashhad Asbar) and SPANISH CROWN (Noorulla) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres.
SPANISH CROWN (Noorulla) sustained clipped injuries on right hock, left
hind fetlock and pastern.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f WINNING DESIRE.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch c CLASSIC CONCEPT.
5th Race : 35. The Hyderabad Race Club Gold Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in accepting his charge RAIDER'S SUN (G. Adarsh) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of PERFECT BOND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LOOKING TO LEAD (B. Sreekanth) which in turn passed it on to MISSISZIPPY (Ch.K. Chary) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres.
GRIS RAPIDE (Md. Sameer) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 800 Metres.
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of PERFECT BOND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to JOIN THE PARTY (Ladjadj Stephane) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.
GRIS RAPIDE (Md. Sameer) sustained cut injury over right stifle.
ANSONIA (K. Chethana) sustained cut injury over right hind pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SECRET COMMAND.
6th Race : 36. The Takshashila Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Pratap Kamath to substitute Jockey Noorulla to ride MARATHA CONQUEROR in place of the declared rider.
It was reported after the race that KING ADLER (Mohammed Shoaib) returned stiff on hind quarters. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of ROYAL VIEW, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement)
Jockey M. Mark, the rider of JUST GREAT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
7th Race : 37. The Harangi Dam Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared coloured cap at the scales in respect of his charge WAR HEAD. Subsequently black cap was permitted to be used.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey
J. Paswan to ride KORPORATE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of MINCHU, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.2,000/- for not fastening the tongue strap properly on his charge WAR HEAD (Himanshu). Subsequently the tongue strap was put on his charge before the start of the race at the starting gates.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of WAR HEAD trained by Mr. Vishal Yadav and ridden by Jockey Himanshu.

SECOND DAY, WEDNESDAY, 19TH MAY 2010
Race No.10: The Mysore Plate - (About) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A. Ashok Kumar to the Stewards for riding an ill judged race (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount b f MISS RUBY in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 27-5-2010 and 2-6-2010. They examined Jockey A. Ashok Kumar and Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker. The Stewards after considering the evidence tendered by Jockey Ashok Kumar and trainer Mr. Ravi Shanker, acting on their on observation of the running of the race and after due deliberations unanimously concluded that Jockey A. Ashok Kumar was guilty of Contravention of Rule No.159(a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he did not permit his mount MISS RUBY to run on it merit in the above race and trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was guilty of contravention of Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing in not running his charge b f MISS RUBY on merits in the above said race. Therefore, the Stewards at their meeting held on Thursday, 27th May 2010, decided to give a fresh charge sheet to Jockey Ashok Kumar and a charge sheet to trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker asking them to appear before them on Wednesday, 9th June 2010 to be examined by them and the same was given.
The Stewards at their Meeting held on 9th June 2010 examined trainer Mr.
S. Ravi Shanker and Mr. S. Marshall, Spokesman for Jockey Ashok Kumar. After
hearing the explanation tendered by trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker and Mr. S.
Marshall and after detailed deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the
Trainer's Licence granted to trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker from 24-6-2010 to
4-8-2010 (both days inclusive) and report him to the Stewards of BTC for further
action for not running his charge b f MISS RUBY run on its merit (Rule
No.159(a); and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey A. Ashok Kumar
from 24-6-2010 to 4-8-2010 (both days inclusive) and not permit him to ride work
during the period of suspension and report him to the Stewards of the Bangalore
Turf Club Ltd., for further action for not permitting his mount MISS RUBY to run
on its merit in the above race (Rule 159(a) and (b).
FOURTH DAY, WEDNESDAY, 2ND JUNE 2010
24. The Bidadi Plate-(About) 1100 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D. Mahendran to the Stewards for
unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount
ch m AMAZING FLORA in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday,
9th June 2010 and examined trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi and Jockey D. Mahendran.
After deliberations, they decided to (a) fine trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi
Rs.10,000/- for unsatisfactory explanation tendered during enquiry.; and (b)
suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey D. Mahendran from 24-6-2010 to
4-8-2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) on his
mount AMAZING FLORA in the above race (permitted to ride work).
