			RACING INCIDENTS

(False Rails: False Rails from 1600 Metres to the Winning Post width (about) 7.5 Metres). 1st Race: 92. The Sangam Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres 11 Runners Horses rated 30 and below, 6 years old and over. Jockey K Gopal Rao the rider of ARTIC SUNLIGHT was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race. Jockey P Krishna the rider of MUSICAL SIGNATURE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient efforts to improve his position till entering the straight. DON'TFORGETMAUMANN (N Tauseef Ahmed) pulled up lame on left fore after the race. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination, DON'TFORGETMAUMANN (N Tauseef Ahmed) was observed to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed to take necessary remedial measures before accepting with it again. 2nd Race: 93. The Ajantha Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres 11 Runners Horses rated 30 and below. Approaching the final 100 Metres, GLITTER AS GOLD (Vivek) suddenly slowed down, whereby YOUNG INDIAN (N Tauseef Ahmed), moving from behind, hit the frontrunner as a result of which, the rider of the latter got totally unbalanced on the saddle. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Ravi Shanker was informed not to accept with GLITTER AS GOLD until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey B L Paswan the rider of ONLY JUST was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement). ZACCHILLI (V R Jagdeesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of b.f. PRETTYYASHYASHWINI, trained by Mr. N A Ponnappa and ridden by Jockey Vijay Kumar. 3rd Race: 94. The Sangam Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 11 Runners Metres. Horses rated 30 and below, 6 years old and over. As Jockey Nasir Imam was certified medically unit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey P Krishna to ride FATHER'S GLORY in place of Jockey Nasir Imam, the declared rider. Jockey D Singh the rider of KHOKA was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement). 1 After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination, it was observed that the right fore shoe of SILVER VICTRESS (S Ramesh) had apparently splayed during the race. FATHER'S GLORY (P Krishna) sustained clip injury on right hind cannon. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. FATHER'S GLORY. 4th Race: 95. The Ajantha Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. 11 Runners Horses rated 30 and below. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey Afsar Khan to ride his charge, CELERITY, without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw CELERITY on veterinary grounds as it had sustained a cut injury on left shoulder. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey D Singh the rider of BORN PURPLE was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to DRAMATIC HEIGHTS (Vinod Shinde) on his inside, approaching the 800 Metres. Jockey Vinod Shinde the rider of DRAMATIC HEIGHTS was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race. Jockey S Shiva Kumar the rider of CLASIC ARMOUR reported that his mount was hanging 'in' badly after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of ROULETTE KING to the Stewards for dangerous riding in that approaching the 1000 Metres, he came in very sharply and caused very severe interference to EXECUTIVE SPIRIT (G Y Rajesh Babu) on his inside, who got totally unbalanced on his mount. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed the Jockeys Afsar Khan and G Y Rajesh Babu. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Afsar Khan from 10.2.2008 to 28.2.2008 (both days inclusive) for dangerous riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his mount, ROULETTE KING, in the above race (permitted to ride work). 5th Race: 96. The Vijayawada Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, EXCEPTIONAL (D Singh). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar and Jockey K P G Appu were questioned regarding the running and riding of FAMOUS FOR FREE and their explanations were noted. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. G T Surender to the Stewards for the reversal of form of his charge, TIME TO SPARKLE (N Tauseef Ahmed), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.68 of the Mysore Winter Races 2007-08, i.e., The Solitaire Cup - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 50, run on Tenth Day, Wednesday, 9th January, 2008, when ridden by Jockey Shanth Kumar, it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. G T Surender. After deliberations, they decided to give the benefit of doubt to Trainer Mr. G T Surender in this instance and warn him to be careful as to future running of his charges. 2 Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. TIME TO SPARKLE. 6th Race: 97. The Mysore Zoo Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 40 to 70. Jockey K P G Appu the rider of ROMANTIC DESIGN was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to ROYAL MIRCHI (J S Gowli) on his inside soon after the start. Jockey Shanth Kumar the rider of HEROS DOMINANCE reported that his mount was hanging 'in' very badly in the last 200 Metres and that he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course and ride out his mount. Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take necessary remedial measures before accepting with it again. GREEN PASSION (A Ramana) sustained a cut injury on right shoulder. MILLENNIUM FORCE (D Gnaneshwar) sustained a cut injury on right hind hock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch.m. EVERBLAZING. 7th Race: 98. The Octogonal Trophy (About) 1200 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 60 and above. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala) was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, DINESA (Vinod Shinde). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. CANNON RUN (D Singh) jumped out awkwardly from the gates. BRAVO BEDFORD (M J Gautam Raj Urs) accidentally struck the frontrunner, approaching the 700 Metres, whereby the rider got momentarily unbalanced on his mount. HYACINTH (S John) drifted 'out' under pressure in the last 300 Metres. DINESA (Vinod Shinde) drifted 'out' under pressure in the last 300 Metres. Jockey Vivek the rider of FIRE BRIGADE reported that his mount was hanging 'out' in the last 300 Metres. Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. DINESA. 8th Race: 99. The Mysore Zoo Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. 11 Runners Horses rated 40 to 70. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to withdraw CHARING CROSS (J S Gowli) on veterinary grounds. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination, it was observed that the left hind shoe of TIME IS LIFE (Vijay Kumar) had apparently splayed during the race. SULEMAN PASHA (K P G Appu) burst its blood vessels during the race, the rider having to dismount before passing the winning post. Trainer Mr. K Pradeep Annaiah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 3 9th Race: 100. The Vijayawada Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres. 10 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50. AL JAZEERA (Vivek) was observed to be lame on left fore before the start of the race and hence, was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter's Order. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. GOLDEN FLOWERS (S Shiva Kumar) bolted on the way to the Racecourse and hence, it was permitted to be withdrawn. VICTORY QUEEN (D Singh) planted in the gates and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Trainer Mr. J Chetan and Jockey Ashwin Rao were questioned regarding the running and riding of AVACADO and the rider stated that the horse appeared to be running under sufferance in the last 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. PERFECT CHEMISTRY (D Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.h. DARE YOU SAY. 10th Race: 101. The Gerusoppa Plate (About) 1400 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50, 6 years old and over. BRAVE SOLDIER (Melvyn Maseyk) jumped out awkwardly from the gates, whereby the rider got unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount. Jockey N Tauseef Ahmed the rider of FIRE ALARM was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and inconveniencing RAIN GOD (G Y Rajesh Babu), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Permission was granted to Trainer, Mr. Dinesh Pujar to deputize on behalf of Trainer, Mr. Irfan Ghatala, who was unable to attend the races.
