to the Winning Post width (About) 5 Metres).
1st Race: 17. The K R S Plate (About) 1400 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 30 and below.
Jockey S Selvaraj the rider of SECOND TO GO reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates due to the crowding of the field
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi the rider of BIANKA was fined Rs.1,000/- for not exercising sufficient control over his mount, whereby he allowed it to go 'in' and collide with the false rails, approaching the 1100 Metres.
The Cross Nose Band on SECOND TO GO (S Selvaraj) got loosened soon after the start and came to the left side of the face of the horse. After examination of the equipment of the horse after the race, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty fastening of the Cross Nose Band on his charge.
2nd Race: 18. The Bandipur Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50.
Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.2,000/- for the inordinate delay in bringing his charge, SHANTALA (Md. Shafiq) to the Paddock.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of TIME TO SPARKLE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to CALLIDORA (Melvyn Maseyk) on his outside, approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of TIME TO SPARKLE was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the Winning Post.
3rd Race: 19. The Pandavapura Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres.
10 Runners Horses rated 40 to 70.
Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in declaring Jockey G Adarsh to ride his charge FASHION VERDICT without obtaining the prior permission of the Master Trainer, Mr. M P Mahaesh. Subsequently, he was permitted to declare Jockey M D Praveen to ride his charge FASHION VERDICT.
Trainer Mr. Rakesh was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge MR MAJESTIC (Shanth Kumar). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
SUGAR LINE (Noorulla) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed to ensure that his charge was capable of better performance in future.
HEROES DOMINANCE (V R Jagdeesh) jumped awkwardly from the Gates, whereby the rider got momentarily unbalanced.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda and Apprentice Jockey M D Praveen to the Stewards regarding the running and riding of FASHION VERDICT. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda and Apprentice Jockey M D Praveen. After deliberations, they decided to (a) fine Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda Rs.10,000/- for tendering unsatisfactory explanation during the enquiry and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M D Praveen from 9th December, 2007, up to 29th December, 2007 (both days inclusive), for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161 (ii)) on his mount, FASHION VERDICT, in the above race (Permitted to ride work).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b g MR MAJESTIC.
4th Race: 20. The Bandipur Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
11 Runners rated 20 to 50.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to withdraw ADVOCATE GENERAL (S Selvaraj) on veterinary grounds, as it was lame on left shoulder. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of IRISH WHISPERS was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to PINE FOREST (P Krishna) on his inside soon after the start.
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of IRISH WHISPERS was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to SATIN SLIPPER (V Gharat) on his outside, which, in turn, passed it onto DOM PERIGNON (Vivek) on the far side, approaching the 400 Metres.
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of IRISH WHISPERS was reprimanded for looking back during the final stages of the race for no apparent reason.
Jockey P Krishna the rider of PINE FOREST was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient efforts on his mount during the race.
5th Race: 21. The Pandavapura Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
9 Runners rated 40 to 70.
Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the Starting Declaration in respect of his charge, STORM AHEAD (Shobhan Babu) as regards shoeing.
Jockey Shobhan Babu the rider of STORM AHEAD was fined Rs.1,000/- for not being alert at the start.
Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of SHOOTING VENUS was fined Rs.1,000/- for not being alert at the start.
Jockey S John the rider of PONTE ROMANO was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course soon after the start.
SALAM NAMASTHE (Vivek) pulled up lame after the race on right fore. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
6th Race: 22. The Committee Cup (About) 1200 Metres.
7 Runners Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Z Darashah to withdraw DANCER'S WAVE (D Gnaneshwar) on veterinary grounds, as it was suffering from colic. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ROYAL MIST (Afsar Khan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed to ensure that his charge was capable of better performance in future.

7th Race: 23. The Nagarahole Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated

Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala) was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, SANDOKAN (S Selvaraj). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey S Selvaraj the rider of SANDOKAN was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient efforts on his mount during the race.
Jockey R Rupesh the rider of SPARK OF GLORY reported that his mount was hanging 'in' during the race. Trainer Mr. P Prasanna Kumar was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
8th Race: 24. The Sakaleshpur Plate (About) 1600 Metres.

Jockey S Chandrashekar the rider of CHOICE OF SUN was reprimanded for not keeping a straight course, passing the 800 Metres.
Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of WORTH A GOLD was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of WAY TO WEALTH was fined Rs.3,000/- for not keeping a straight course, passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of PENNY TWEEDY was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to COPENHAGEN (R Rupesh) on his outside, approaching the 200 Metres.
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of PENNY TWEEDY was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (First Infringement).
Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of WORTH A GOLD was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (First Infringement).
Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of PENNY TWEEDY, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of WAY TO WEALTH, placed First, for "Jockey Vijay Kumar came across me very sharply with about 350 Metres to go when my horse was full of running as I was about to go past WAY TO WEALTH. I had to check and ride again which cost me the race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. WAY TO WEALTH.
Permission was granted to Trainers, M/s.R Mallikarjuna and Dinesh Pujar to deputize on behalf of Trainers M/s.M B Mangalorkar and Irfan Ghatala respectively, who were unable to attend the races.

RACE NO.7: THE DHARWAD PLATE - DIV. I (ABOUT) 1400 METRES. HORSES RATED 40 TO 70, 5 YEARS OLD AND OVER.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A R Mani to the Stewards pertaining to his riding on his mount, b.g. ROYAL HAWK, in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. M Bobby and Jockey A R Mani. After deliberations, they decided to (a) accept the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. M Bobby pertaining to the running of his charge, b.g. ROYAL HAWK, in the above race and (b) suspend Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey A R Mani from 9th December, 2007, up to 28th February, 2008 (both days inclusive), not permit him to ride work during the above period of suspension and further refer him to the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Limited for further necessary action for not permitting his mount, b.g. ROYAL HAWK to run on its merit (Rule No.159(a) and (b)) in the above race.

pertaining to his riding on his mount, gr.m. ISLAND PEARL in the above race. The
Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Wednesday, 28th November, 2007,
and interviewed Trainer Mr. S Ravi Shanker and Jockey A Ashok Kumar. After
deliberations, they decided to (a) accept the explanation tendered by Trainer
Mr. S Ravi Shanker during the enquiry and (b) suspend Jockey's Licence granted
to Jockey A Ashok Kumar from 9th December, 2007, to 29th December, 2007 (both
days inclusive), for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii)) on his mount,
