1st Race: 49. The Bird Sanctuary Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres.
8 Runners Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).

KAR O BAR (Imran Chisty) was extremely fractious on the way to the Gates and delayed the start considerably. Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was informed to impart adequate training to improve its pre-race behaviour.

Jockey Imran Chisty the rider of KAR O BAR reported that his saddle slightly shifted back rounding the final bend. After examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was severely cautioned to be careful as regards saddling.

2nd Race: 50. The Nandidurga Plate (About) 1200 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 30 and below.

Jockey Vivek the rider of GLITTER AS GOLD was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course between 300 and 200 Metres.

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk the rider of CLASIC ARMOUR reported that his mount was hanging 'in' badly in the last 200 Metres. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 51. The Bird Sanctuary Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres.
8 Runners Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).

EYE FOR STYLE (V Gharat) sustained a cut injury on the right hind stifle.

4th Race: 52. The Taj Mahal Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses
12 Runners rated 20 to 50.

As Jockey P Mani was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to substitute Jockey S Kumar to ride VERTICAL LIMIT in place of Jockey P Mani, the declared rider.

Jockey S Rajesh the rider of ALYBABY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to INDIAN TECH (Ranjeet Singh) on his outside, approaching the 400 Metres.

Jockey S Kumar the rider of VERTICAL LIMIT was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to INDIAN TECH (Ranjeet Singh) on his outside, passing the 300 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. EXCLUSIVE DESIGN.

5th Race: 53. The Victory Zone Cup - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
10 Runners rated 40 to 70.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to withdraw MR MAJESTIC on veterinary ground, as it was lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HEROINES CALIBRE (Shanth Kumar) planted at the Gates and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

BABBU THE SLY (Imran Chisty) stumbled while jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of RIDE AND SHINE was reprimanded for repeatedly looking back during the final stages of the race for no apparent reason.

Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of MINT ROYAL was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

6th Race: 54. The Rajendravilas Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 years old and over.

Jockey J Paswan the rider of CRUISE CONTROL was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course between 400 and 200 Metres.

Jockey Imran Chisty the rider of BERKLEY SQUARE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to TURBANATOR (S Rajesh) on his outside, approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of PAL JOEY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to WAY TO WEALTH (Suraj Narredu) on his outside during the final stages of the race.

The Drop Nose Band on BERKLEY SQUARE (Imran Chisty) came off during the race. After examination of the equipment after the race, Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.2,000/- for using an unserviceable equipment.

After the race, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination, the left fore shoe of WAY TO WEALTH (Suraj Narredu) had apparently splayed during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. PAL JOEY.

7th Race: 55. The Victory Zone Cup - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
12 Runners rated 40 to 70.

HEROS DOMINANCE (V R Jagdeesh) was extremely fractious on the way to the Starting Gates and delayed the start of the race considerably. Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed to impart adequate training to improve its pre-race behaviour.

Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of IRISH WHISPERS was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to THUNDER ON (P S Chouhan) on his outside during the final stages of the race.

8th Race: 56. The Gulbarga Plate (About) 1200 Metres.
8 Runners Horses rated 60 and above.

Jockey Suraj Narredu the rider of ANSONIA reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, gr.m. ÉCLAIR BLANCHE.

9th Race: 57. The Rajendravilas Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 years old and over.

Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey Gopal Rao to ride his charge, CADRE NOIR, without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned. Subsequently, he was permitted to declare Jockey Mohd. Ghous to ride his charge, CADRE NOIR.

Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the
scales in respect of his charge, ABSOLUTE DOMINANCE (S Chandrashekar). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey J H Christopher the rider of STORM AHEAD was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing severe interference to MR BUREAUCRAT (S Rajesh) on his outside, approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Khurshad Alam the rider of MAGICAL SPIRIT was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the last 200 Metres.

Jockey D Gnaneshwar the rider of BLUE SPIRIT was reprimanded for attempting to force a passage on the inside when there was insufficient room, approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey Mohd. Ghous the rider of CADRE NOIR reported that he lost his whip, approaching the final 100 Metres.

HIGH TOWER (Imran Chisty) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainers, M/s.S Santosh Rao and G T Surender to deputize on behalf of Trainers M/s.Warren Singh and N A Ponnappa respectively, who were unable to attend the races.

ADDITIONAL REPORT

FIFTH DAY, WEDNESDAY, 5TH DECEMBER, 2007.

RACE NO.26: THE DANDELI PLATE - DIV. I (ABOUT) 1200 METRES. HORSES RATED 30 AND BELOW:

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Shakti Singh the rider of b.f. MUCH MORE to the Stewards in connection with his riding on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Wednesday, 26th December, 2007, and examined Jockey Shakti Singh and Mr. C Girinath, Trainer of the horse. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Shakti Singh with effect from 6th January, 2008, up to 27th February, 2008 (both days inclusive), not to permit him to ride work during the above period of suspension and further refer him to the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Limited for further necessary action for not permitting his mount, b.f. MUCH MORE, to run on its merit (Rule No.159(a) and (b)) in the above race; and (b) accept the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. C Girinath.
