RACING INCIDENTS
(18 -25 )

Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 3.1 Cms.

(False Rails from 1600 Metres to the winning Post width (About) 6.5 Metres.)

1st Race : 18. The Manasagangotri Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).

As Jockey S. Rajesh was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey J. Paswan to ride RECORD TIME in place of the declared rider.

GEMSBOK (A.R. Mani) was extremely fractious inside the gates. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

ANOOSHEEK (D. Gnaneshwar) was fractious inside and was injured in the gates. On examination it was found to be lame on right hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. Z. Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S.R. Santosh Kumar, the rider of AZAZEL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to SPLENDID GLORY (Gaurav Sapra) which in turn passed it on to POCKET DYNAMITE (Himanshu) on his inside which was checked by his rider. EVERYTHING NICE (G. Vijay) which was travelling directly behind the latter also had to be checked by its rider before passing the red marker post.

POCKET DYNAMITE (Himanshu) stumbled approaching the 900 Metres whereby EVERYTHING NICE (G. Vijay) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider.

CANNON TARGET (S. Mubarak) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

AZAZEL (S.R. Santosh Kumar) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

RECORD TIME (J. Paswan) sustained cut injury on left hind planter cannon.

2nd Race: 19. The Kakanakote Plate-(About) 1600 Metres. For Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners).

Jockey M.D. Praveen, the rider of MAHSEER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position from the 1400 Metres to the 800 Metres.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right hind shoe of KHOKA (Gaurav Sapra) had apparently splayed during the race.

DAKINI (Khurshad Alam) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

3rd Race : 203. The Nanjangud Plate-Div-II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of SKYFLEET, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right fore shoe of GOLDEN NYMPH (Md. Kareem) had apparently splayed during the race.

STAMPEDE (Ahsan Qureshi) sustained a deep cut injury on right fore plantar pastern.

TRICKCY (Melvyn Maseyk) sustained bruises on both hind fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g WORLD IS TOOMUCH.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Noorulla, the rider of FAST COLOURS to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he shifted in soon after the start and caused very severe interference to QUINNIE (Gaurav Sapra) which in turn passed it on to GOLDEN NYMPH (Md. Kareem) on his inside before passing the red marker post. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Noorulla. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey Noorulla from riding in races from 28-11-2009 to 5-12-2009 (both days incusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount FAST COLOURS in the above race (permitted to ride work).

4th Race : 21 . The Big Deal Plate-Div-II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to substitute Jockey Amarpreet Singh to ride MR BUREAUCRAT in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to withdraw HO CHI MINH (S. Chandrashekar) on veterinary grounds as it was trotting lame on right hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of DEMANDING placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey S. John, the rider of CIAMPINO, placed I for "in the last 250 Metres the winner shifted sharply whereby I received a check and shifted outside whereby I lost a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey S. John, the rider of CIAMPINO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

Jockey Amarpreet Singh, the rider of MR BUREAUCRAT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

Jockey S. John, the rider of CIAMPINO, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

CADRE NOIR (S. Mubarak) sustained cut injury on left hind coronet.

5th Race: 22. The Big Deal Plate- Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

TURF RAIDER (S. Chandrashekar) jumped awkwardly inwards from the starting gates and inconvenienced CHOCOLATE BROWNIE (Gaurav Sapra).

Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of TANTRIK, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SANDOKAN (Ahsan Qureshi) on his inside which in turn passed it on to HEALING TOUCH (Mohammed Shoaib) which brushed the false rails and WAR HEAD (Himanshu) which was traveling directly behind had to be checked by its rider approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of SANDOKAN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the winning post.

AFGHAN (P. Ramesh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b h SANDOKAN.

6th Race: 23. The Air Force Gold Cup -(About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)

VRTEX (Mohammed Shoaib) took a fly jump.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of RED DAWN, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

The Stewards have ordered an enquiry into the relative performance of YOUREMYLOV, the winner of this race as compared to its previous runs.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g YOUREMYLOV.

7th Race: 24. The Nanjangud Plate-Div-I-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Jockey G. Vijay, the rider of LIVE IT UP, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount in the race.

RUNNING MAN (Afsar Khan) pulled up lame on right fore after the race. Trainer Mr. C.V.G.K.Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FORGIVENFORGET (S. John) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

PAT ON THE BACK (Himanshu) sustained injuries on both hind above hock joint.

PRINCE OF ARGYLE (S. Mubarak) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.

After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey S. John from riding in races from 28-11-2009 to 5-12-2009 (both days incusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount FORGIVENFORGET in the above race (permitted to ride work).

8th Race: 25. The Great Cherisma Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

FEEL MY HEART (Noorulla) took a fly jump.

ANGEL OF FAITH (Melvyn Maseyk) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates and inconvenienced PRETTYYASHYASHVINI (M.D. Praveen) on his outside.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of WORTH A DIAMOND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing PRETTYYASHYASHVINI (M.D. Praveen) approaching the 1000 Metres.

AUSTRALIS (G. Vijay) pulled up lame on left hind after the race. Trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry has been opened into the fall of Jockey G. Vijay from his mount AUSTRALIS in the above race.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of SPANISH CROWN trained by Mr. Dinesh Pujar and ridden by Jockey N. Tauseef Ahmed.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of PRETTYYASHYASHVINI, the winner of the above race, trained by Mr. S. Santosh Rao and ridden by Jockey M.D. Praveen.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m PRETTYYASHYASHVINI.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. T. Natraj to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. M. Bobby who was unable to attend the races.

ANOOSHEEK (D.Gnaneshwar) - Was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order as the mare got injured inside the gates.
