(False Rails : Average width of 3 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning Post.)

1st Race : 1. The Kaiga Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

GARUDA (M. Suresh) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced LATIN TWISTER (Md. Shafiq) on the outside.

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of SMILE AGAIN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for allowing his mount to drift out rounding the final bend thereby inconveniencing GARUDA (M. Suresh) on his outside.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of BOLD SUCCESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey Noorulla, the rider of MAURITIUS STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

PRINCESS EMILY (Md. Kareem) sustained cut injury on left hind pastern.

2nd Race: 2. The Ansbach Cup-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of TIME FOR ALL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting and causing interference to MR BUREAUCRAT (Himanshu) on his outside passing the 200 Metres.


Jockey Nasir Imam, the rider of SECRET FURY, was reprimanded for changing course passing the 200 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of THEWORLDISMINE, was reprimanded for easing his mount before passing the winning post.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c THEWORLDISMINE.

3rd Race: 3. The Vishakapattana Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

ANGEL OF FAITH (N. Tauseef Ahmed) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced BOAZ (K. Chethana) on its outside.

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of VIBHUTHI, reported that his mount was hanging out badly rounding the final bend in spite of his best effort to keep it on an even course thereby inconveniencing BOAZ (K Chethana) on his outside. On immediate veterinary examination no abnormality was noticed. Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

ANGEL OF FAITH (N. Tauseef Ahmed) sustained injury on right fore inside cannon.

4th Race : 4. The Vishakapattana Plate-Div-I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45. (8 Runners).

MAGIC WIND (M.A. Milan) planted and took no part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of SKYFLEET, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 100 Metres.

5th Race: 5. The Gol Gumbaz Plate - (About) 1200
Metres.Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).

LOOKING TO LEAD (B. Sreekanth) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 500 Metres whereby the rider lost his right stirrup iron and had to ride without the aid of the equipment and could not offer sufficient aid to his mount thereafter.

Jockey Harish, the rider of INDIA SHINING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LOOKING TO LEAD (B. Sreekanth) on his inside approaching the 500 Metres.

After the race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the right fore shoe of EONA (Vivek) had apparently splayed during the race.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of EONA, was cautioned for not maintaining a straight course in the last 100 Metres of the race.

6th Race: 6. The Ansbach Cup - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners)

I WANNA FLY (M. Suresh) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres due to a tightly packed field.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of ASHKAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LOTUS POND.

7th Race: 7. The Bramhaputra Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners).

LOOKING TO LUCK (B. Sreekanth) took a fly jump.

Jockey Himanshu, the rider of REGAL IMAGE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly changing course between the 1200 Metres and 1100 Metres.

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of STERLINGSNIP, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MAGICAL ECSTASY (S. Chandrashekar) passing the 1000 Metres.

MAMAN MARVEL (J. Rahul) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Himanshu, the rider of REGAL IMAGE, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence and was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey R. Ravi, the rider of FORGIVENFORGET, was reprimanded in the presence of trainer Mr. Pratap M Kamath for riding an incompetent race. He was informed that in view of the fact he won the race no further action was taken but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for necessary action.

FORGIVENFORGET (R. Ravi) sustained gum injury.

STERLINGSNIP (M.A. Milan) sustained cut injury on right hind fetlock.

8th Race: 8. The Erode Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of RED EMBLEM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing out.

Jockey Melvyn Masek, the rider of VICTORY QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey Noorula, the rider of FOREVER GRANDE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Jockey Himanshu, the rider of JEDI KNIGHT, was questioned in the presence of the trainer regarding the riding instructions as also regarding taking unduly long lead during the early part of the race. The Jockey stated that (a) he was asked to go to the front and take a lead of 1 to 2 lengths, do his best in the straight; and (b) he did not realize that he had taken a lead of over 8 lengths at the early part but rode his mount out and won the race. While noting the explanations he was informed that in view of the fact that he won the race no further action was taken but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for necessary action.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g JEDI KNIGHT.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. T. Natraj to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. M. Bobby who was unable to attend the races.
