RACING INCIDENTS
(Race No.44 to 51)
GOING : GOOD
Penetrometer reading : 2.8 Cms.
(False Rails : From 1600 Metres to the Winning Post width
(about) 4 Metres).
1st Race : 44. The Common Grounds Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 5 years old and over. (12 Runners)
RECORD TIME (Amyn Mechant) reared up as the gates opened and lost few lengths. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey M. Suresh, the rider of PANCHO PETE, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have ulcers in the mouth and injury on right commisure. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to give appropriate veterinary treatment before accepting with it again.
PANCHO PETE (M. Suresh) sustained cut injury on right hind.
2nd Race : 45. The Shillong Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners)
Jockey K.Chethana, the rider of HURRICANE SPIRIT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course were by ACTIVISTO (Afsar Khan) which was travelling directly behind had to check his mount to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner, in the process he had to shift out and bumped EXCLUSIVE DESIGN (Shanth Kumar) approaching the 400 Metes.
EXCLUSIVE DESIGN (Shanth Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RAIN GOD.
3rd Race : 46. The Nagarjunasagar Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over. (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to withdraw BREED APART (S. Selvaraj) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
KANDIATE (Harish) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on left hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Ravi, the rider of JERICHO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position between 700 Metres and 400 Metres.
Jockey N.M. Khan, the rider of SECRET FURY, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FINAL FRONTIER.
4th Race : 47. The Chitradurga Plate - Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45. (9 Runners).
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar was fined Rs.2,000/- for accepting two rides in the same race. Subsequently permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to declare Jockey Madhu Babu to ride VEDAPRIYA.
Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde) was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in accepting his charge OUTCLAS (M. Suresh) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.
SAUCE PIQUANT (A.R. Mani) was extremely fractious inside the Gate. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained cut injuries above both the eyes. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
DANCING WATERS (D. Gnaneshwar) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
VIBHUTHI (Vijay Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced WAY TO WEALTH (Shanth Kumar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
STERLINGSTEPS (Melvyn Maseyk) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced MASTAAN (G. Vijay ) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
STERLINGSTEPS (Melvyn Maseyk) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R. Mallikarjuna was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
MASTAAN (G. Vijay) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
BERKLEY SQUARE (Gaurav Sapra) jumped inwards and bumped ROYAL FLYNN (S. Chandrashekar) on his inside.
5th Race : 48. The Lalbagh Plate (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65. (12 Runners).
Jockey S. Mubarak, the rider of GOLDEN FLOWERS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly changing course in the early part of the race.
Jockey J. Paswan, the rider of BEE FOR YOU, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course wereby SUPER SHA (N. Tauseef Ahmed) which was travelling directly behind clipped the heels of the former and stumbled momentarily unbalancing the rider.
Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.5,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge DEMANDING, the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.37 of the Mysore Winter Races 2009-10 when ridden by Jockey ridden by Jockey Khurshad Alam it ran unplaced.
SANDOKAN (G. Vijay) sustained cut injury on left hind below hock and left fore inside cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DEMANDING.
6th Race : 49. The Kudremukh Cup - (About) 1100 Metres.
Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (TERMS) (6 Runners)
AAHANA (Melvyn Maseyk) veered out soon after jumping out of the gates and raced on the sand track thereon. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. C. Girinath was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence. Further the trainer was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
7th Race : 50. The Bijapur Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 60 and above. (9 Runners).
An enquiry has been opened into the careless riding of Jockey Afsar on his mount YOUREMYLOV in the above race.
8th Race : 51. The Chitradurga Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45. (11 Runners)

SAUCE PIQUANT (A.R.Mani) - Was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order as the horse got injured inside the stalls.
DANCING WATERS (D.Gnaneshwar) - Was withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order as the gelding was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. The Starting Stall Certificate is revoked.
BENNYTHEBULL (R.Ravi) - Was slowly away and lost few lengths.
