1st Race : 129. The Reshmi Art Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over (12 Runners)
NANO BLUE (S. John) reared up as the gates opened and lost a few lengths at the start.
SENNA (Amarpreet Singh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that ANALIKA (Vivek) sustained cut on right fore inside fetlock.
NANO BLUE (S. John) sustained cut over left fore elbow joint.
2nd Race : 130. The Bhagamandala Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners).
LOOKING TO LUCK (B. Sreekanth) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J. Sharavanan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of VIBHUTHI, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g ZINDABAD.
3rd Race : 131. The Bhagamandala Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (11 Runners).
As Jockey I.A. Khan was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride MISS RUBY in place of the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. G.T. Surender was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge BENNYTHEBULL (Md. Kareem) as regards shoeing.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to withdraw MAGIC WIND (D. Gnaneshwar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind on inspection in the saddling enclosure. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BENNYTHEBULL (Md. Kareem) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. G.T. Surender was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race it was observed that the right fore shoe of STINGER (K. Chethana) had apparently splayed during the race.
Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.5,000/- for unsatisfactory running of his charge MISS RUBY (Md. Shafiq) in the above race.
Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of MISS RUBY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b r WELLINGTON.
4th Race :132. The Manipal Plate -Div.II-(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey Md. Kareem, the rider of AMASING FLORA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly checking his mount and losing position for no apparent reason during early part of the race.
Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of RUNNING MAN , reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race as such he could not offer sufficient effort on his mount during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. C.V.G.K. Kishore was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
5th Race :133. The Nagpur Plate -Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pratap M Kamath to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride HEROS DOMINANCE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey J. Rahul, the rider of KAR O BAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to POKEMON MASTER (S. Chandrashekar) on the outside which in turn passed it on to KING ADLER (M. Madhu Babu) on his outside approaching the 800 Metres.
6th Race :134. The Simhaghad Plate -Div.II-(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
WORLD IS TOOMUCH (S. John) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. B.K.
Narendra) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the
Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey J. Paswan, the rider of BRIDGE TOO FAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to BLOOD STREAM (R. Ravi) and MINCHU (Melvyn Maseyk) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
WORLD IS TOOMUCH (S. John) sustained cut injury on right hind bulb of heel.
BRIDGE TOO FAR (J. Paswan) sustained cut injury on left hind hock.
7th Race :135. The Aihole Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
As Jockey Melvyn Maseyk was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Noorulla to ride INDRAJIT in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of RED DAWN, placed 4th by the Judge objected against Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of LOOKING TO LEAD, placed 2nd for "coming in sharply at the 900 Metres because of which I lost my balance and lost considerable stride that costed me a certain place" The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to over rule the objection.
It was reported after the race that INDRAJIT (Melvyn Maseyk) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SPECIAL FORCE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to AMAZING ONE (S. Chandrashekar) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Guarav Sapra, the rider of PERFECT BOND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly looking back during the final stages of the race for no apparent reason.
8th Race :136. The Karnataka Racehorse Owners' Association Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Indian Racehorse Owners Association Cup (7 Runners).
SIGNATURE STYLE (S. Sreekanth) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Z. Darashah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
It was observed that BEHRAM (S. John) and PRINCESS NERO (Imran Chisty) drifted out under pressure during the final stages of the race.
Jockey J.H. Chistopher, the rider of HAPPINESS, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have broken molar caps. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to get it once again checked by the Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
9th Race :137. The Nagpur Plate -Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey J. Paswan to ride RECORD TIME in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of LAND OF GOLD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to RIDE AND SHINE (Md. Shafiq) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race it was observed that the right hind shoe of LAND OF GOLD (Vivek) had apparently splayed during the race.
FACTION LEADER (D. Mahendran) sustained cut injury on right hind inner bulb of heel.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m QUEEN OF DESTINY.
10th Race :138. The Aihole Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
As Jockey M.D. Praveen was certified medically unfit to ride, permission
was granted to trainer Mr. C.V.G.K. Kishore to substitute Jockey Noorulla to
ride CLASSIC ART in place of the declared rider

BASTIAN BAY (Vivek) was very fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the
circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's
orders.
DANGER DIABOLIC (S. John) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr.C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of FIRE BRIGADE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.
BEAU MONDE (Vijay Kumar) sustained cut injury on left hind inner bulb of heel.
11th Race :139. The Simhaghad Plate -Div.I-(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
As Jockey P. Krishna was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. T. Nataraj to substitute Jockey P. Mani to ride LAGUNA BLUE in place of the declared rider.
MISSISZIPPY (B. Sreekanth) sustained cut on right hind stifle joint.

horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over.
The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd. at their meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010 considered the report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the detection of the drug Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin - prohibited substances in the urine sample taken from dkb g VOICE OF INDIA after the horse placed First in the above race on 27th August 2009. The horse owned by Mr. M. Lakshminarayana and trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar.
They examined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for infringement of Medication Rules (in respect of his charge dkb g VOICE OF INDIA in the above race - II infringement) as contained in BTC Calendar Notification under the heading "Medication and treatment of horses in Training and Racing and Anti-Doping Control" reading as follows:
"The trainer is always responsible for the protection and security of the horse in his care. The trainers are warned that they will be held responsible if an examination of a horse, declared to start in a race, results in the finding of any prohibited substances".

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd. at their meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010 considered the report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the detection of the drug Capsaicin - a prohibited substance in the urine sample taken from b g ROYAL ZEN after the horse placed First in the above race on 24th September 2009. The horse owned by Mr. Suresh Yanamandala and trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar.
They examined trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) for infringement of Medication Rules (in respect of his charge b g ROYAL ZEN in the above race - III infringement) as contained in BTC Calendar Notification under the heading "Medication and treatment of horses in Training and Racing and Anti-Doping Control" reading as follows:

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on
Tuesday, 23rd February 2010, considered the report of the Stipendiary Stewards
pertaining to the running and riding of b m PRETTYYASHYASHVINI in the above
race. They interviewed Trainer Mr. S. Santosh Rao. They noted that Jockey M.D.
Praveen could not arrive in time for the enquiry due to reasons beyond his
control. After deliberations, they decided to adjourn the enquiry to a
subsequent date.

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010, considered the report of the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the negligence on the part of trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde in the running of his charge dk b h PANCHO PETE in Race No.44 of the Mysore Winter Races 2009-10 held on 11th December 2009 and the consequential improved performance of his charge PANCHO PETE, the winner in the above race. They examined Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde. After due deliberations, they decided to fine trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde Rs.25,000/- for the negligence in the discharge of his duties as a trainer (Rule No.114(b)(i) & 167(b) pertaining to the running of his charge PANCHO PETE in Race No.44 in relation to Race No.98 of the Mysore Winter Races 2009-10. He was informed of his right to appeal.

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010, considered the report of the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the running and riding of b g WISE WORDS trained by Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan in the above race. They examined trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and Jockey Afsar Khan. After deliberations, they decided to adjourn the enquiry to a subsequent date.

Rajesh it ran unplaced. They examined trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav and considered the submissions made by him. After deliberations, they decided to note the explanations tendered by him.

Chandrashekar it ran Third. They examined trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde. After due deliberations, they decided to fine trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde a sum of Rs.25,000/- (in terms of Rule No.114(b)(i) of BTC Rules of Racing) with regard to the relative inconsistent performance of his charge I WANNA FLY in Race No.95 held on 20th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey S. Chandrashekar it placed 3rd as compared to the above race when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan Khan it ran unplaced.

Chandrashekar), the winner of this race as compared to its previous runs in Race No.88, The Trigger Cup-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 25 and below, 6 year old and over on 12th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan, it won the race and in Race No.105, The Ajantha Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 25 and below ran on 27th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan it ran unplaced. The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010, considered the report of the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the inconsistent pattern of running of gr h SWISS CHOCOLATE (Mohammed Shoaib), the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.96, The Hampi Plate-(About) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, 6 year old and over, when ridden by the same rider it ran Fourth. They examined trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi. After due deliberations, they decided to fine trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi a sum of Rs.25,000/- in terms of Rule No.25 and 114(b)(i) of BTC Rules of Racing) with regard to the relative performance of his charge SWISS CHOCOLATE in Race No.96 held on 20th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Mohammed Shoaib it placed 4th as compared to the above race when ridden by the same rider it won.

They examined jockey Ashan Qureshi. After deliberations, they decided to adjourn the enquiry to a subsequent date.

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Friday, 26th February 2010, considered the Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 23rd December 2009 suspending the Jockey's licence of Jockey M.A. Milan from 3-1-2010 to 24-2-2010 (both days inclusive) and further referring him to the Stewards of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., for further action for not permitting his mount CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. They examined Jockey M.A. Milan. After viewing the CCTV replay of the race and considering the evidence tendered by Jockey M.A. Milan and the submissions made by him, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M.A. Milan from 15-3-2010 to 2-4-2010 and not to grant him a Jockey's Licence from 3-4-2010 to 31-12-2011 for not permitting his mount CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. He was informed of his right to appeal under BTC Rules of Racing.

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on
Friday, 26th February 2010 (i) considered the grounds of appeal dated 11th
February 2010 filed by Jockey D. Gnaneshwar against the decision of the Stewards
of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his licence from 22-1-2010 to
24-2-2010 (both days inclusive) and further referring him to the Stewards of BTC
for further action for not permitting his mount GERSHWIN to run on its merits
(Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race. The
Stewards noted that pending disposal of the appeal the above said punishment had
been stayed by them. They examined trainer Mr. Z. Darashah and Jockey D.
Gnaneshwar. After due deliberations, they decided to reject the appeal filed by
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar and to forfeit the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him
(ii) the Stewards at the same Meeting further considered the Minutes of the
Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 12th January 2010
referring Jockey D. Gnaneshwar to the Stewards of B.T.C. for not permitting his
mount GERSHWIN to run on its merits (Rule 159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of
Racing) in the above race. After viewing the CCTV replay of the race and
considering the evidence tendered by trainer Mr. Z. Darashah and Jockey D.
Gnaneshwar, the Stewards after due deliberations decided to (a) note the
explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Z. Darashah; and (b) withdraw the Jockey's
Licence granted to Jockey D. Gnaneshwar w.e.f. 15-3-2010 to 2-4-2010 (both days
inclusive) and not to grant him a Jockey's Licence from 3-4-2010 to 31-3-2012
for not permitting his mount GERSHWIN to run on its merit in the above said
race. He was informed of his right to appeal under BTC Rules of Racing.
