1st Race :112. The Star Angel Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over (11 Runners)

Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of MUSICAL SIGNATURE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the straight thereby inconveniencing KALISKA (D. Mahendran) on his inside approaching the 400 Metres.

Jockey S. Rajesh, the rider of EVERLASTING JOY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for easing up his mount in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey D. Mahendran, the rider of KALISKA, placed 3rd by the Judge objected against Jockey M. Suresh, the rider of ACTIVISTO placed 2nd for "in the final 400 Metres he came on to me very sharply and again in the last 100 Metres he took my ground for which it costed me a certain 2nd place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. Subsequent to the objection being overruled, the Stewards decided that the deposit of Rs.2,500/- paid by Jockey D. Mahendran towards lodging an objection be forfeited as it was a frivolous objection.

An enquiry has been opened into the inconsistent running of MUSICAL SIGNATURE (S. Chandrashekar), the winner of this race, trained by Mr. C.V.G.K. Kishore as compared to its previous runs in Race No.88, The Trigger Cup-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over on 12th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan it won the race & Race No.105, The Ajantha Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 25 and below on 27th January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan it ran unplaced, of Mysore Winter Races 2009-2010.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ACTIVISTO trained by Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and ridden by Jockey M. Suresh.

2nd Race : 113. The Yamuna Plate -Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (11 Runners).

PRINCELY GESTURE (Md Shafiq) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M.D. Praveen, the rider of MUTUAL FUND, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

BOAZ (Gaurav Sapra) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. T. Natraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SPARK OF ZEAL (S. John) sustained a clipped injury over left hind tendon region.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g MUTUAL FUND.

3rd Race :114. The Yamuna Plate -Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners).

Jockey GautamRajUrs, the rider of WORTH A DIAMOND, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 400 Metres. After due examination of the equipment after the race, trainer Mr. S. Santosh Rao was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey P. Krishna, the rider of RECORD TIME, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

DIVA (S. Chandrashekar) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

4th Race :115. The Tranquility Cup -Div.II-(About)1400
Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of LOOKING TO LEAD, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and crowding the horses on his inside viz. BASTIAN BAY (Khurshad Alam), DEMANDING (S. John), TANTRIK (M Madhu Babu) and BULLISH LUCK (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) on his inside before passing the red marker post.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of BASTIAN BAY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly changing course between 1200 Metres and 800 Metres thereby inconveniencing DEMANDING (S. John) on his outside

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race it was observed that the left hind shoe of THEWORLDISMINE (D. Gnaneshwar) had apparently splayed during the race.

SWORD OF POWER (S. Rajesh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

MAGICAL SPIRIT (J. Paswan) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

LOOKING TO LEAD (B. Sreekanth) sustained cut injury on left hind hock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m LOOKING TO LEAD.

5th Race : 116. The Tuticorin Plate -Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

Jockey Noorulla, the rider of EXPENSIVE AFFAIR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the winning post.

An enquiry has been opened into the improved performance of EXPENSIVE AFFAIR (Noorulla), the winner of this race, Trained by Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi as compared to its previous run in Race No.103 of the Mysore Winter Races 2009-2010 i.e. The Nicolette Plate-(About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, on 22nd January 2010 when ridden by Jockey Melvyn Maseyk it ran unplaced.

An enquiry has been opened into the use of Mobile Phone by Jockey Ahshan Qureshi prior to this race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f EXPENSIVE AFFAIR.

6th Race : 117. The Charmudi Ghat Plate - (About) 1600
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Jockey S. John was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in accepting two rides in the above race.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to declare Afsar Khan to ride MAJESTIC STRIDES.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. T. Natraj to declare Gaurav Sapra to ride LAND OF GOLD.

MINCHU (Harish) was very fractious, reared up and sat on its back in the gates. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders.

MAJESTIC STRIDES (Afsar Khan) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of SWISS CHOCOLATE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course thereby taking out JERICHO (R. Ravi) on his outside during the final stages of the race.

An enquiry has been opened into the inconsistent pattern of running of SWISS CHOCOLATE (Mohammed Shoaib), the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.96 of the Mysore Winter Races 2009-2010 i.e. The Hampi Plate-(About) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over, on 20th January 2010.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr h SWISS CHOCOLATE.

7th Race :118. The Tranquility Cup -Div.I-(About)1400 Metres.Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).

8th Race : 119. The Siachin Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of NICE GUY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SHOW N TELL (S. Chandrashekar) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of THEODORA, was fined Rs.5000/- for shifting in and causing very severe interference to the horses on his inside viz. NICE GUY (Md. Shafiq), BLACK CAT (Khurshad Alam), HEROISM (I.A. Khan) and ALPHA CENTAURI (Mohammed Shoaib) before passing the red marker post.

THEODORA (M. Madhu Babu) sustained cut injury on left hind outer bulb of heel.

Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g NICE GUY.

Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of ROYAL VIEW, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement)
