False Rails : From 1600 Metres to the Winning Post width (about) 7.5 Metres.
1st Race: 74. The Sirsi Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, LOVELY RED (Melvyn Maseyk). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey Ramandeep S Bal the rider of SAUCE PIQUANT was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and crowding the horses on his inside, viz., MR GENIOUS (R Vaideeshwaran) and NICOLETTA (Nausad Alam), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of ZOOMING was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to BOCCONCINO (Shanth Kumar) on his inside, passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey Nausad Alam the rider of NICOLETTA was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the Winning Post.
Jockey A Ashok Kumar the rider of SAMRAT reported after the race that the hood on his mount came off, passing the 300 Metres. Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in not fastening the hood properly on his charge SAMRAT.
It was reported after the race that ZOOMING (Vijay Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
2nd Race: 75. The Sirsi Plate - Div. I (About)1200 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (10 Runners):
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M. Bobby to withdraw PROWL KING on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. R. Mallikarjun was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having accepted ATMOSPHERICS (A. Ashok Kumar) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to withdraw ATMOSPHERICS from the above race.
Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, SCREEN TEST (J Paswan). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
It was reported after the race that SCREEN TEST (J Paswan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
After the race, AMIERA (R Vaideeshwaran) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was reported to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
Jockey Vivek the rider of ARYANSH reported after the race that his mount was hanging 'out' from the 800 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was reported to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
An enquiry is being held into the riding of AMIERA (R. Vaideeshwaran) in the above race.
3rd Race: 76. The Thiruvananthapuram Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).
GAMPU (Shanth Kumar) swerved towards left, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of GREEK SHIP was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing JOHN GALT (Nausad Alam) on his inside, passing the 1000 Metres.
In a closely packed field GREEK SHIP (Afsar Khan) had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the frontrunner, ECUADOR (Valdir De Sousa), passing the 700 metres.
ECUADOR (Valdir De Sousa) sustained cut on left hind pastern planter.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of CINDY GIRL was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to 'weighing in'.
An enquiry has been opened into the careless riding of Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of CINDY GIRL in the above race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. CHINAB.
4th Race: 77. The Antequera Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).
As Jockey Amarpreet Singh the declared rider of SUPER SPEED was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 3rd race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Melvyn Maseyk to ride SUPER SPEED in place of the declared rider.
As Jockey P Mani the declared rider of WORTH A GOLD could not arrive in time to fulfill his riding engagements, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride WORTH A GOLD in place of the declared rider.
WORTH A GOLD (J Paswan) accidentally stumbled, passing the 700 Metres.
MISTER TROOPER (Vivek) could not get a clear run, passing the 300 Metres, due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey S Chandrashekar the rider of BULLISH LUCK reported that he could not get a clear run due to crowding of the field, passing the 300 Metres.
It was reported after the race that WORTH A GOLD (J Paswan) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m LYRA.
5th Race: 78. The Salem Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).
As Jockey M D Praveen the declared rider of MARIANELLA was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride MARIANELLA in place of the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. R Mallilkarjuna was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge, MR HURRICANE (G Y Rajesh Babu), as regards shoeing.
FEEL MY HEART (Ahsan Qureshi) was reported to be lame on right fore at the gates. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter's Order. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that MARIANELLA (J Paswan) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
An enquiry is being opened into the improved performance of RIVER FORCE trained by Mr. Rakesh and ridden by Jockey Harish in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 53 i.e. The Victory Zone Cup Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres of the Mysore Winter Races 2010-11, when ridden by Jockey S.R. Santosh Kumar it ran unplaced on 29th December 2010.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.g. RIVER FORCE.
6th Race: 79. The Himalayas Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to withdraw OUR LANCER (Afsar Khan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride YES I CAN in place of the declared rider.
Jockey J Paswan the rider of YES I CAN was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing severe interference to PAINT ME RED (N Rajesh), on his inside approaching the 1400 Metres.
Jockey S Mallikarjun the rider of ROYAL LIASON was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to STAR OF PARADISE (M Madhu Babu) on his inside before passing the Red Marker Post.
Jockey Vivek the rider of MISS MEXICO was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to STAR BLUE (V R Jagdeesh), which, in turn, passed it onto STAR OF HEARTS (S A De Sousa), on his inside `passing the 1200 Metres.
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of MYSTIC STAR, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey Vivek the rider of MISS MEXICO was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.

7th Race: 80. The Trigger Cup (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride LAND OF SMILES in place of the declared rider.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to substitute Jockey Nausad Alam to ride SPANISH CROWN in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of ANALIKA, reported that he could not get a clear run, approaching the 700 Metres, due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of SMILE AGAIN was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing SPANISH CROWN (Nausad Alam) on his inside, approaching the 800 Metres.
8th Race: 81. The Coimbatore Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride YOURE A LEGEND in place of the declared rider.
It was reported after the race that EDMONDO (S A De Sousa) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that REAL MAGIC (Melvyn Maseyk) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R Vaideeshwaran the rider of SWISS QUEEN was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing EDMONDO (S A De Sousa) on his inside, passing the 1000 Metres.
It was observed that LOOKING TO LEAD (N Rajesh) wobbled, passing the 100 Metres and had to be checked by its rider, thereby inconveniencing NERMAI (P Kiran Rai) on his inside. On an examination immediately after the race by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained fracture on sesamoids and pastern of left fore fetlock. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of BUCETHALIS, trained by Mr. R Mallikarjuna and ridden by Jockey Shanth Kumar.
9th Race: 82. The Salem Plate - Div. I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
HAKUNA MATATA (S R Santosh Kumar) swerved towards the left, did not raise a fluent gallop and took no part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
Jockey S A De Sousa the rider of BILLO RANI reported that his mount was hanging 'out' in the straight, despite his best efforts to keep it on an even course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was reported to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
Jockey N Rajesh the rider of CUTE STYLE reported that his mount was hanging 'out' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. C.V.G.K. Kishore was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that the right hind shoe of PROUD ACCOLADE (S. Chadrashekar) had come off during the race.
10th Race: 83. The Coimbatore Plate - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
Kiran Rai the rider of SUNNY BABA, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that BLUE THUNDER (S.A. De Sousa) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
HAMPTON COURT (J. Paswan) sustained cut on right hind hock.

RACE NO.61: THE TREASURE GIRL PLATE - DIV. II (ABOUT) 1100 METRES, FOR HORSES RATED 40 TO 65:
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey V R Jagdeesh the rider of SOCIAL CLIMBER to the Stewards for the unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing), in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Tuesday, 18th January, 2011, and examined Trainer Mr. Z Darashah and Jockey V R Jagdeesh. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Z Darashah; and (b) suspend Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey V R Jagdeesh from 01-02-2011 to 18-02-2011 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount 'SOCIAL CLIMBER' (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work).
TENTH DAY, WEDNESDAY, 12TH JANUARY, 2011.
RACE NO.69: THE PANAJI PLATE - DIV. II (ABOUT) 1200 METRES, FOR HORSES RATED 20 TO 45.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey J Paswan, the rider of NISHI GIRL to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing), in the above race in that he shifted in and caused severe interference to ADMIRANDA which in turn passed it on to ACTOR on his inside passing the 300 Metres and further shifted in and bored ADMIRANDA on his inside in the final 100 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry on Tuesday, 18th January, 2011, and examined Jockey J Paswan and S. Chandrashekar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey J Paswan from 01-02-2011 to 12-02-2011 (both days inclusive) for careless riding(Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount NISHI GIRL in the above race (permitted to ride work).
RACE NO.71: THE SOLITAIRE CUP - DIV. I (ABOUT) 1400 METRES, FOR HORSES RATED 20 TO 45, 6 YEARS OLD AND OVER:
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey K Gopal Rao, the rider of SECRET
FURY to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules
of Racing) in the above race. The Stewards, held an enquiry on Tuesday, 18th
January, 2011 and examined Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav and Jockey K Gopal Rao.
After deliberations, they decided to (a) fine Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav a sum of
Rs.10,000/- for the unsatisfactory explanation tendered during the Stewards'
enquiry; and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey K Gopal Rao from
01-02-2011 to 18-02-2011 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his
mount SECRET FURY in the above race (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing)
(permitted to ride work).
RACE NO.72: THE PANAJI PLATE - DIV. I (ABOUT) 1200 METRES, FOR HORSES RATED 20 TO 45:
An enquiry was ordered pertaining to the running and riding of WYNN trained by Mr. Vishal Yadav and ridden by Jockey Ahsan Qureshi in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Tuesday, 18th January, 2011 and examined Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav and Jockey Ahsan Qureshi. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Ahsan Qureshi from 01-02-2011 to 18-02-2011 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount SECRET FURY (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work) and (b) caution Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav as to the future running of his charges.
RACE NO.73: THE KARKALA PLATE (ABOUT) 1400 METRES, FOR HORSES RATED 60 AND ABOVE:
At the meeting of the Stewards held on Tuesday, the 18th of January, 2011,
the complaint, dated 13th of January, 2011, submitted by Trainer Mr. Dinesh
Pujar, addressed to the Chief Stipendiary Steward, pertaining to the riding of
his charge HITZ by Jockey S Chandrashekar was considered by the Stewards. The
Stewards considered the above said complaint and examined both the Trainer Mr.
Dinesh Pujar and Jockey S Chandrashekar. After deliberations, the Stewards
decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar and
(b) give the benefit of grave doubt to Jockey S Chandrashekar at this instance
and cautioned him to be more careful in future.
