RACING INCIDENTS

False Rails : From 1600 Metres to the Winning
Post width (about) 8 Metres.
1st Race: 102. The Star Angel Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over (12 Runners)
TRACK WONDER (Vinod Shinde) did not get a clear run, approaching the 300 Metres, due to a closely packed field.
Jockey M Madhu Babu the rider of STAR BLUE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and taking 'out' SPANISH CROWN (G Y Rajesh Babu), on his outside passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu the rider of SPANISH CROWN was fined Rs.2,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race.
Jockey M Madhu Babu the rider of STAR BLUE was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, gr m ANALIKA.
2nd Race: 103. The Yamuna Plate (About)1200 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (12 Runners):
Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, LOVELY RED (Vijay Kumar). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
INTIFADA (M Madhu Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards from the Starting Gates.
SAMRAT (N Rajesh) accidentally brushed the false rails, approaching the 600 Metres.
Jockey B Sreekanth the rider of CARIBBEAN PIRATE was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting 'in' and causing interference to INTIFADA (M Madhu Babu) on his inside,
approaching the 400 Metres.
Jockey Imran Chisty the rider of HALO OF SPLENDOUR reported that his mount was hanging 'out' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch f NICOLETTA.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g INTIFADA.
3rd Race: 104. The Nilgiris Plate (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Z Darashah to withdraw HONEY BUZZARD on veterinary grounds as it was found to have swelling on all four fetlock joints. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S Rajesh the rider of MOM IN LAW was reprimanded for his undesirable practice of easing his mount before passing the Winning Post. He was also informed that in view of the fact that the horse had won the race, no further action was taken, but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
Jockey Noorulla the rider of THE FUHRER was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping his hands before passing the Winning Post.
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of GOLDEN GOAL, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
4th Race: 105. The Charmudi Ghat Plate - Div. II (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Jockey Md. Shafiq the rider of QUEEN OF DESTINY was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to LOOKING TO LUCK (N Rajesh) on his outside, approaching the 100 Metres.
Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu the rider of FAUSTIAN was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing 'out'.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m MISS MEXICO.
5th Race: 106. The Tranquility Cup - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to withdraw SOLITARY CHAMP on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the
starting declaration in respect of his charge, STRONG MINDED (Ramandeep S Bal),
as regards shoeing.
Jockey M Madhu Babu the rider of YANKEE LANE was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (second infringement).
Jockey M Madhu Babu the rider of YANKEE LANE was fined Rs.2,000/- for the extravagant use of the whip on his mount, whereby he hit the left arm of Jockey P S Chouhan (RASHIDA) on his inside.
An enquiry has been opened into the interference caused by Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of RASHIDA during the race.
YANKEE LANE (M Madhu Babu) sustained cut injury on left hind bulb of heel.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g YANKEE LANE.
6th Race: 107. The Siachin Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (11 Runners).
LANCASHIRE (P S Chouhan) was examined at the Starting Gates and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g SEASONS GREETINGS.
7th Race: 108. The Tranquility Cup - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw LOTUS POND on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey Himanshu the declared rider of WAR HEAD, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to substitute Jockey B Sreekanth to ride WAR HEAD in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Vijay Kumar the rider of LYRA was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and bumping SUPER SHA (Imran Chisty) on his inside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.
SUPER SHA (Imran Chisty) stumbled, passing the 1000 Metres.
It was reported after the race that SECRET COMMAND (Afsar Khan) pulled up
lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must
produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu,
the rider of CANNON SCOT during the race.
SUPER SHA (Imran Chisty) stumbled approaching the 1200 Metres.

8th Race: 109. The Charmudi Ghat Plate - Div. I (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
YES I CAN (M J Gautam Raj Urs) was permitted to be withdrawn.
Jockey Irvan Singh the rider of SUAVE lost his right stirrup, approaching the 1000 Metres and got momentarily unbalanced.
Jockey B Sreekanth, the rider of MEXIKAN WAVE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to SUAVE (Irvan Singh), on his outside, rounding the final bend.
It was reported after the race that SUAVE (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
9th Race: 110. The Tuticorin Plate (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey Noorulla, the rider of BEAUTY ON DUTY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to BLACK KNIGHT (K.P.G. Appu) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Madhu Babu, the rider of MR MAGIC, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to MILFORD (Vinod Shinde) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
