False Rails : From 1600 Metres to the Winning

1st Race: 111. The Vesuvius Plate (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below, 6 years old and over (9 Runners)
Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, the declared rider of WORTH A DIAMOND, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not arriving in time to fulfill his riding engagement in the above race. As no suitable substitute rider was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to withdraw WORTH A DIAMOND from the above race.
Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.2,000/- for the negligence in the discharge of his duties pertaining to declaration of rider in respect of his charge, RAIN MAN. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to declare Jockey S Sunil to ride RAIN MAN.
Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, QUEEN OF SPEED (Amarpreet Singh). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey S Sunil the rider of RAIN MAN was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to DIFFERENT OPINION (J H Christopher) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey J H Christopher the rider of DIFFERENT OPINION was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and tightening MAJOR IMPRESSION (Vivek), on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
It was reported after the race that ASPIRING SEVEN (B Sreekanth) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu the rider of GAMPU was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (second infringement).
DIFFERENT OPINION (J H Christopher) sustained cut injury on left hind inside canon.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g GAMPU.
2nd Race: 112. The Ellora Plate (About)1600 Metres. Horses rated 25 and below (11 Runners):
Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge, BOCCONCINO (M Rajesh Kumar), as regards shoeing.
GENTLE LEGEND (J H Christopher) was examined at the Starting Gates and was found to be lame on left fore and stiff quarters. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SADDLER (M J Gautam Raj Urs) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.
STERLINGSTEPS (Afsar Khan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Khurshad Alam the rider of STELLAR STAR was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to ISINBAYEVA (G Y Rajesh Babu) on his inside approaching the 100 Metres.
Jockey Deep Shanker the rider of PROWL KING was fined Rs.3,000/- for repeatedly bumping ANALIKA (N Rajesh) between the 900 Metres and 600 Metres and also for not maintaining a straight course in the final 250 Metres of the race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m ROYAL LIASON.
3rd Race: 113. The Indi Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
QUIET ACHIEVER (G Y Rajesh Babu) did not get a clear run, approaching the 350 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey S Sunil the rider of BADDA RUPAIYYA was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to JUST GREAT (Valdir De Sousa), on his inside approaching the 350 Metres.
Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs the rider of ACTOR was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to ALEJANDROS (B Sreekanth) on his inside which, in turn, passed it onto ROTO ROOA (Janardhan Paswan) along the rails, approaching the 350 Metres.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m BADDA RUPAIYYA.
4th Race: 114. The Sriharikota Plate (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey Himanshu the rider of FREEDOM FIGHTER reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates which he
could not recover and hence to give balance he had to remove his left leg from the stirrup and had to ride without the aid of the equipment and as such, he could not offer any assistance to his mount throughout the race.
Jockey Himanshu the rider of FREEDOM FIGHTER was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing 'in'.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g SUN DEVICE.
5th Race: 115. The Aperitivo Plate - Div. II (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 6 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Shanth Kumar the rider of ROYAL VIEW was fined Rs.3,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
6th Race: 116. The Indi Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Jockey Shanth Kumar the rider of MR HURRICANE was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient efforts on his mount during the race.
Jockey J H Christopher the rider of SANDALWOOD STAR was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement).
LANCASHIRE (Harish) sustained injury on right hind frog.
STAMPEDE (M Suresh) sustained injury on left hind hock and canon region.
7th Race: 117. The Own Ordain Cup (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge, MILFORD (M J Gautam Raj Urs) as regards shoeing.
Jockey Khurshad Alam the rider of ANSONIA was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing SWISS QUEEN (S Sunil), rounding the final bend.
It was reported after the race that MILFORD (M J Gautam Raj Urs) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race: 118. The Gulbarga Plate (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (10 Runners).
Jockey M Rajesh Kumar the rider of SECRET PILGRIM was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to EXPRESS IT (S R Santosh Kumar), on his inside which, in turn, passed it onto WAR HEAD (S Rajesh), approaching the 800 Metres.
9th Race: 119. The Aperitivo Plate - Div. I (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 6 years old and over (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna to withdraw SPANDAU BALLET on veterinary grounds as it was observed to have copious muco-purulent greenish nasal discharge from the right nostril. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Further, an enquiry is being held into the incident.
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of YOU'REMY SENSATION, reported that his mount was galloping in snatches throughout the race and also ran detached. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. C.V.G.K. Kishore was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before cccepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that MASTER YODA (M. Madhu Babu) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
