86. The Gulbarga Plate (About) 1100 Metres, horses rated 00 to 25

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of WESTERN LADY to the Stewards for not permitting his mount to run on its merits thereby contravening Rule Nos.159 (a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 17^th January, 2015 and examined Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda, Mr. Sughosh Nagendra, Spokesman for Jockey P Kiran Rai and Jockey P Kiran rai himself. After deliberations, they decided to (a) record the submissions tendered by Mr. Sughosh Nagendra, Spokesman for Jockey P Kiran Rai and (b) declare Jockey P Kiran Rai a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing from 4-2-2015 to 3-2-2016 (both days inclusive) (not permitted to ride work) for not permitting his mount WESTERN LADY to run on its merit in the above race thereby contravening Rule NoS.159 (a) and (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

45. The Swarnamukhi Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 114(b)(i)  and 202(i)(vii) of the BTC Rules of Racing and BTC Racing Calendar Notification under the heading “Trainers Licence” in respect of his charge YOURE GORGEOUS  and Jockey B.Harish the rider of YOURE GORGEOUS  for unsatisfactory riding Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race.

The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday, 7^th January 2015 and on Friday, 9^th January 2015 and examined Trainer J. Babu Rao and Jockey B.Harish.

After deliberations they decided to:

(a) suspend the Trainers licence granted to Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao from 21-1-2015 to 31-3-2015 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i)  and 202(i)(vii) of the BTC Rules of Racing and BTC Racing Calendar Notification under the heading “Trainers Licence” in respect of his charge YOURE GORGEOUS and;

(b) suspend the Jockey’s licence granted to Jockey B.Harish from 21-1-2015 to 14-2-2015 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount YOURE GORGEOUS in the above race (permitted to ride work).
